Chapter 1201: Back At The Omni Peak Academy

Anthony could be seen lying on his bed as he slept like a baby. The sun poured into the room, reflecting upon his face, which gently drew his consciousness back from the dream realm. Anthony yawned without a care as he stared at the ceiling. His hand moved to the other side of the bed as he wanted to touch Vega and give her a morning kiss on her forehead.

But his hand met nothing but an empty space on the bed. Then it dawned on him that Vega had told him she would be spending the last few days with Veronica, Altheria, and her parents, Amara and Klaus, as this was the last time she would be seeing them for quite a while too.

Of course, Anthony had agreed. After all, he wasn’t the only one in Vega’s life.

‘Three more days until the Ascension,’ Anthony thought to himself as he shifted into a sitting position on the bed with another yawn.

And indeed, only three days remained.

Anthony planned to spend today visiting a few places, for example, the Omni Peak Academy. It had been six years since he graduated, and Anthony wanted to see how things were over there. Were they still the same or not?

And not just that, he planned to visit the orphanage he had once visited that had moved ??? to give him the Quantum Manipulation ability.

And of course, Anthony didn’t plan to talk to anyone within these places. He had hardly exchanged words with the Dragon Principal or the Vampire Vice Principal back during his school days, so why should he now?

With that, Anthony got off the bed and went straight to the bathroom, where he had a quick bath and changed his clothes. After that, he simply flew into the air, not bothering to teleport to the Omni Peak Academy.

As usual, the Omni Peak Academy was at the Centre Of all Domains. Anthony floated downward, bypassing the barriers and rune formations that protected the Omni Peak Academy as though they weren’t even there.

Anthony stood on the paved road, his eyes taking in the various students as they walked among themselves and laughed about jokes only they understood. Some were leaving on missions, some were returning, while others were simply going about different matters.

Despite the huge setback that the Omni Peak Academy had suffered six years ago, where almost out of one thousand first year students only fifty were left alive due to constant Demon attacks, students still poured into the Omni Peak Academy that same year when the time for academic admissions began.

Powerhouses could decide not to send their children and instead have them homeschooled, but what were the others supposed to do? They could only take the risk and send their children despite the massacre. People couldn’t afford to limit their children’s futures.

And indeed, since Anthony graduated, no huge event like that had happened again. Although Demons and the Forsaken Cult still caused trouble, the Dragon Principal and the Vampire Vice Principal simply worked the lazy blind Seer to death. So, although students still died once in a while, it no longer caused any major headlines, as everything was generally under control.

Anthony walked into the Omni Peak Academy with familiar ease, his eyes taking in everything around him. He walked toward the door that led to the classroom where only the top twenty students, those within the S class, were allowed. Phasing through it, Anthony’s eyes fell upon twenty students listening attentively as a Four Star Professor taught the class.

And as one might have already guessed, out of the twenty top-ranked students among one thousand students, the Human race barely occupied three of those positions.

Anthony’s eyes shifted to the professor who was teaching, as the voice was familiar. And there he stood, the familiar Kevin, the man who had discovered that Anthony possessed special eyes back then. Brother to the Vice Principal, he too was a Vampire.

After listening to the lecture for a moment, Anthony turned around and phased through the door once more, leaving the classroom. He walked through the hallway, turning down various corridors as he headed toward another familiar place, the Mission Hall.

Upon entering, everything was still the same, with various staff members sitting behind tables as they attended to the students who continuously came and went. Anthony then heard something that caught his attention, causing him to turn.

“I heard that during his Omni Peak Academy days, God Anthony was the first to clear the Impossible Mission, then went on to clear all ten Impossible Missions on the list,” a Vampire student spoke as he stared at the Impossible Mission list that bled red.

“I heard that too. The Omni Peak Academy basically confirmed it on their Academy site. Then ten other students, who were also all Humans and are said to be Anthony’s personal friends, cleared it as well. It was as though he had opened the door for others to begin clearing the Impossible Missions,” a Dragon student followed up.

“Should we try the Impossible Mission?” the Vampire student asked, tempted to follow in his model’s footsteps.

The Dragon student thought for a moment before shaking his head. “If it were so easy, then only God Anthony and his friends wouldn’t have been the only ones to clear the Impossible Missions. Other people like Prince Bryan and Tiara, who were God Anthony’s classmates, would have cleared the Impossible Missions too. Besides, nobody else has even half-completed an Impossible Mission, and everyone who tried ended up dead,” his tone lowered toward the end.

Anthony walked toward the Impossible Mission list they were staring at, read through it, then shook his head in mild amusement. He remembered his own Impossible Mission, where he had been tasked with protecting a Dragon Heart that was being transported to another city. Anthony remembered the endless hordes of monsters that had attacked him and the adventurer team at the time.

If any ordinary student had taken the mission, it would have most definitely ended in their deaths, as even the adventurers wouldn’t have truly survived without Anthony himself, as his Infinite Mana had carried everyone through. Just for all of them to receive an assassination mission worth a billion top grade Mana Crystals afterward.

‘Those were the days,’ Anthony mused to himself as his mind lingered on the memory.

Anthony walked around the Omni Peak Academy for a while, visiting places he had once been to. He remembered the trip to the Floating Island. He was tempted to visit it again, but then changed his mind, as he had no reason to go there.

Everything within the Omni Peak Academy still followed the same routine Anthony remembered. Nothing had changed significantly. They still followed the point based system and everything else remained largely the same.

Anthony walked out of the Omni Peak Academy, stared at the gate one last time, and wondered if he would have to attend another academy when he reached the Upper Galaxy… well, that was if they even had one.

With that, he floated into the air as he prepared to fly toward his next destination; the orphanage.
