Chapter 1224: Scale Of Revenge

Chapter 1224: Scale Of Revenge

Anthony and The Decipherer Of The Heavens walked calmly as neither of them spoke. Anthony gazed at everything that passed by, the birds, the clouds, the trees, everything.

“So, young one,” The Decipherer Of The Heavens began to speak, but before he could say anything else, Anthony interrupted.

“My name is Null Anthony,” he said calmly. He didn’t sound arrogant, but he still reminded the man before him that he had a name.

“My apologies, Anthony,” The Decipherer Of The Heavens replied with a calm smile, the scholarly aura around him remaining unchanged. “So, what is the name of your Lower Galaxy?” he asked calmly.

Anthony was about to answer but stopped the next second as he arched an eyebrow and replied, “Aren’t you supposed to know?” His tone was curious.

“How should I know? You never told us,” The Decipherer Of The Heavens replied calmly.

“My Ancestor is from the same Lower Galaxy as I am. If you know the Lower Galaxy he came from, then you should automatically know the Lower Galaxy I’m from,” Anthony replied expressionlessly.

Hearing Anthony’s words, The Decipherer Of The Heavens smiled before speaking again. “Good catch. It seems you’re just as smart as the Sect Master.” He nodded to himself.

Before Anthony could say anything, the man continued, “In the Ecliptica Galaxy, most people have a habit of heading to the Lower Galaxies of enemies they can’t defeat to wipe them out, cause havoc, and the like. Of course, many people don’t care about what happens to their Home Galaxy after their Ascension, but the Sect Master is different because he has always said he has descendants in his Home Galaxy. Otherwise, he wouldn’t really care.”

Anthony nodded at the explanation and said nothing more. Although, to him, such things seemed excessive. If you couldn’t defeat someone, why not simply become stronger instead of wiping out an entire Galaxy?

But The Decipherer Of The Heavens’ words served as a warning that the scale of destruction and revenge here was on an entirely different level. Back in the Acarnis Galaxy, revenge usually meant wiping out an entire family, not even destroying an entire Planet. Here, however, they were wiping out Galaxies.

‘Oh, right… the Milky Way Galaxy,’ Anthony thought to himself as he immediately remembered that one of his plans had been to ask about it.

“Since there’s a way to locate a Galaxy, is there some sort of list or book containing all the Lower Galaxies that have been discovered?” he asked calmly.

“You are looking to travel to another Lower Galaxy?” The Decipherer Of The Heavens asked.

Anthony simply nodded without going into further detail.

“There is actually a record containing every Lower Galaxy that the Null Sect has explored, numbering in the millions. As for the ones discovered by the other Races, only they know about those, as people generally don’t care much about Lower Galaxies,” The Decipherer Of The Heavens replied.

His gaze shifted towards Anthony as he asked, “So, what is the name of the Galaxy you plan to visit? I know every Lower Galaxy recorded by the Null Sect by heart. I’m pretty smart,” The Decipherer Of The Heavens said with a smile.

“The Milky Way Galaxy,” Anthony replied, not bothering to hide his answer since there was simply no need to.

Even if The Decipherer Of The Heavens destroyed the Milky Way Galaxy tomorrow, Anthony would simply shrug and go back to sleep. He was merely curious about Earth and what year it was currently in, nothing more.

“There is no such Galaxy within our records,” The Decipherer Of The Heavens replied instantly without even pausing to think.

Anthony nodded, saying nothing else and not doubting The Decipherer Of The Heavens’ words. Besides, he could always purchase the location of the Milky Way Galaxy from the System Shop and simply teleport to Earth.

“I can look for it, though. I’m quite resourceful,” The Decipherer Of The Heavens suggested.

Anthony’s gaze shifted towards the man, his face as expressionless as ever.

“No need, thank you. It’s not an urgent matter, nor is it something that requires someone of your status to mobilize resources,” Anthony replied.

He had only just ascended. He didn’t want to begin his very first day by owing an unknown favor to a dangerous powerhouse. That wasn’t a good way to start.

The Decipherer Of The Heavens seemed to read Anthony’s thoughts as he spoke again. “You don’t need to think of it as a favor or anything like that.” His tone became slightly amused. “Think of it as a welcome gift from the Null Sect. I’m just bored and hardly ever leave the Sect, so I have nothing to do. With this, at least I’ll be occupied for a few seconds.”

Anthony remained silent for a moment before replying, “Thank you,” he said calmly with a nod, noting the fact that the man before him claimed he could find it within a few seconds.

Later, they arrived at the peak of a mountain. It was covered in fog that seemed much denser than ordinary mist. Anthony’s All Seeing Eyes swept across the surroundings as he spotted various runes, rune formations, and other formations spread throughout the mountain peak.

“Does this lead somewhere?” Anthony asked, as he couldn’t completely decipher the entire formation.

“Follow me,” The Decipherer Of The Heavens said calmly as he stepped into the formation without hesitation.

Anthony simply followed, mirroring the man’s footsteps. As they walked, the man occasionally turned in seemingly random directions, though Anthony was certain there was nothing random about them. Soon, space itself rippled before them, and they stepped out from the mountain peak as the dense white fog vanished.

Anthony looked ahead, and before him stretched an enormous open space. Various disciples whom Anthony recognized as Outer, Inner, and Core Disciples moved about the area. Standing before him was a single towering structure that stretched endlessly towards the heavens.

“Welcome to the Heavenly Library,” The Decipherer Of The Heavens said calmly.

Anthony simply stared at it. If he had to describe it, it looked exactly like the Scripture Pavilions he had always read about in Chinese xianxia, xuanhuan, and wuxia novels. Anthony’s eyes shifted to the side, where he could see a few disciples walking together while discussing something amongst themselves.
