Chapter 1241: Freedom

The Sword Ruler, The Punisher, The Slumbering Storm, The Deceiver Of Laws, The Decipherer Of The Heavens, and Chaos Betroth stood in utter shock as they nearly dropped to their asses at the scene before them.

To them, it was incomprehensible. Even Unique and Universal Laws at one hundred percent comprehension didn’t allow one to do such a thing, yet Anthony had done it. They knew his cultivation rank; they had sensed it from the very start.

A singular question; how?, burned more brightly than any flame within their minds.

They couldn’t help but swallow hard, suspecting that if Anthony wanted, he could ascend even more ranks, but had seemingly chosen to remain just one rank ahead of their so-called strongest Above Disciple.

And indeed, if Anthony wanted to, he could push through. He had only stopped because he had other things he wanted to focus his thoughts on.

They couldn’t help but wonder if it was through this very method that Anthony had accomplished something as outrageous as ascending at the age of twenty. It was a very plausible explanation. Although they didn’t know the power behind such feats, they could only attribute it to his unscalable Bloodline and Physique.

“What sort of reality- and rule-breaking omen have you brought to us, Nathaniel?” Chaos Betroth asked as she called The Sword Ruler by his name.

The matter was simply that dire.

But The Sword Ruler didn’t reply as he simply stared at his own Bloodline performing wonders that even he, the Founder, dared not attempt.

Anthony gazed at the five Core Elders and the Null Family Founder, while they gazed back at him with trembling eyes they desperately tried to hide. Anthony said nothing and explained nothing. He broke eye contact, then lowered himself to the ground and sat in a lotus position before closing his eyes like some meditating monk.

The Core Elders couldn’t help but wonder what Anthony was about to do next. But it didn’t take them more than a second to figure it out. If Anthony was going to become the strongest Above Disciple, then obviously, Law comprehension was his next target.

Their eyes narrowed at the impossibility of their own thoughts. They wondered if Anthony’s ability, or whatever the fuck he was pulling, could even bend the Laws of Reality to his whims.

And with that, Anthony activated Thought Conception once more, and immediately, he had his first thought;

Comprehend all Minor Laws to completion.

An unknown power and force seemed to ripple around Anthony ever so calmly and gently before creeping into his mind and slamming into it with overwhelming force. The moment it struck, Anthony felt something he wasn’t sure he had ever experienced before… a migraine.

His enhanced brain shook as his Thought Compartments struggled to keep up, as though they were going to crumble at any moment, as even one million Thought Compartments weren’t enough to contain the fusion of such knowledge and power.

Thought Conception didn’t limit Anthony to one task per activation, so Anthony did what any smart person would do. He freed one Thought Compartment, using it to form another thought as he activated Thought Conception once again and immediately created twenty million Thought Compartments.

Anthony immediately felt the difference. The headache that had been pounding ceaselessly only moments ago vanished as though it had never existed. The knowledge flowed ever so smoothly and steadily as, within a couple of hours, Anthony had comprehended all Minor Laws to one hundred percent.

Anthony’s thoughts immediately shifted to the Greater Laws, such as the Laws Of Time, the Law Of Space, and the like, and the next moment, the knowledge came again, harder and faster. It didn’t merely fill his mind; his soul and body strengthened at the same time as those endless streams of knowledge flowed through his very being rather than just his mind.

But alas, Anthony’s mental capacity began to feel the brunt of his own thoughts, as things like the Law Of Time couldn’t simply be comprehended to one hundred percent. It ground to a halt at eighty percent, while the Law Of Space stopped at ninety-five percent.

Although some other Greater Laws were comprehended to one hundred percent while others weren’t, it was still a major victory for Anthony.

But his face had turned pale as though he lacked blood, as the mental strain hit him hard. It wasn’t easy to comprehend all Minor Laws and Greater Laws, even with an ability as monstrous as Thought Conception.

Anthony didn’t dare attempt the Unique Laws or Universal Laws all at once; he wasn’t that crazy yet. Through the System Shop, he bought a Mind Apple Rejuvenation Fruit. After eating it, he restored his mental strength while even boosting it by two points.

As his mental strength returned, Anthony decided to start with a single Unique Law, and he chose the Law Of Freedom.

One had to ask, what was freedom?

If Anthony managed to comprehend this Law to one hundred percent, then nothing within the Ecliptica Galaxy could hold him. After all, how could you trap or seal someone who was freedom itself?

With that, knowledge poured into Anthony’s mind, soul, and body once more, but the next moment, the Law Of Freedom ground to an astonishing twenty percent, demonstrating just how outrageously powerful it truly was.

Even the so-called strongest Above Disciple hadn’t reached five percent comprehension of a Unique Law despite years of dedicated effort.

As for the Universal Laws, Anthony was tempted not to even bother. He might try and simply end up dead. After all, each grade of Law became progressively more difficult and outrageous than the last.

He sighed and gave up on the thought of comprehending any Universal Laws for now. He would only attempt them later after increasing both his mental strength and mental capacity. With that, Anthony’s eyes fluttered open as though he hadn’t just given the Core Elders and Nathaniel the greatest shock of their entire lives.

Anthony rose to his feet with calm ease, meeting the gazes of the Core Elders.

One could only ask, with Thought Conception in play, could anyone within the Universe even defeat Anthony at this point if he simply continued boosting his mental strength and capacity without end?
