Chapter 1271: Power Of Law-1

Chapter 1271: Power Of Law-1

The moment the signal was given, all three hundred and five of them surged forward like ants to sugar. None of them could afford a strategy like waiting for someone else to tire Anthony out or anything of the sort. They believed Anthony was weaker than them, so such a strategy was stupid. Besides, the first person to defeat him, or rather, the person who landed the winning blow, was going to be declared the winner, making such a strategy even more foolish.

The moment they closed the distance, Anthony simply took a step as his right foot moved forward. The instant he did, the Law of Wind hummed around him as, in the next moment, a titanic wind shockwave blasted outward with maddening force.

A deafening boom tore through everything and everyone in its path. The disciples caught at the front were violently torn apart, their bodies blasted backward as their limbs twisted into grotesque angles. Some limbs were ripped directly from their bodies while bones shattered through flesh, muscles tore apart, and blood exploded into the air.

With a single attack, the air was already filled with blood as the arena turned crimson, saturated with the heavy stench of iron. Over one hundred and fifty disciples were instantly removed from the battle, left broken, bleeding, and unconscious.

Anthony had unleashed that attack merely by taking a single step. The air displaced by that solitary movement had been transformed into an atomic-level attack through the application of Law.

Such was the power of Law Embodiment. Such was the maddening might of one hundred percent Law Comprehension.

Although Anthony had held back immensely to avoid killing anyone or permanently damaging their dantians, Law Embodiment remained Law Embodiment.

Another disciple moved, Anthony’s eyes snapping toward the side as his senses resonated with the Law of Shadows. A disciple burst outward from a nearby shadow, his speed remarkable as he became little more than a blur. Had Anthony not been perfectly attuned to the Law of Shadows, the young man might have escaped even his senses.

Anthony leaned back slightly, the dagger in the man’s hand slicing through the empty space where his neck had been. Anthony’s hand immediately shot forward as he moved to slap the man into unconsciousness. However, the disciple appeared to have anticipated the retaliation as his body flickered before instantly vanishing, manipulating the Law of Shadows to teleport into another nearby shadow.

But it was useless as Anthony was already there.

His foot collided with the man’s jaw with explosive force, his neck snapping violently to the side as his body was launched across the arena. Through the very Law Resonance the man had been so proud of, Anthony had already pinpointed his destination before the teleportation had even finished. Anthony’s own Law of Shadows had already reached the Embodiment Stage. The disciple had never possessed even the slightest chance.

Another disciple charged from the left wielding a halberd, Origin Essence surging around his body with frightening intensity. Anthony simply raised his index finger and effortlessly caught the descending blade, stopping it in place as though it weighed absolutely nothing. Before the disciple could even comprehend what had just happened, Anthony trapped the blade between his index and middle fingers before casually flicking them.

The weapon shattered into countless pieces, and before the Core Disciple could even activate his Law, Anthony moved first as the Law Embodiment of Metal came alive. Every shattered fragment immediately accelerated to unbelievable speeds, far beyond the disciple’s perception, as the metallic shards blurred into invisible streaks that tore through flesh, veins, tendons, muscles, and bones. The fragments continued breaking apart until they became microscopic metallic particles that invaded every part of the disciple’s body, shredding his internal organs from within.

Another disciple, one who appeared to have comprehended the Law of Strength, closed the distance, his fist tearing toward Anthony’s head with overwhelming force as he sought to burst it apart in a single strike. Anthony merely turned his head toward him, his index finger extending as he casually blocked the terrifying punch with nothing more than the edge of his fingernail.

Although the Law of Strength granted an immense increase in physical power, it remained only at the Law Enhancement Stage, nowhere near enough to contend against the terrifying physical strength hidden within Anthony’s lean physique.

Anthony’s palm immediately wrapped around the disciple’s fist before the young man could retreat, and with a simple twist, he shattered the disciple’s wrist.

"Aaaahhhhh!!!"

The disciple screamed, but he hadn’t truly experienced pain yet. Anthony yanked him forward, grabbed him by the shoulder, and violently tore the disciple’s entire arm from its socket while simultaneously activating the Law of Pain to magnify every sensation of pain to an unimaginable degree. Flesh ripped apart, blood sprayed into the air, veins snapped, and bones fractured as the disciple’s agonized screams echoed throughout the arena before his consciousness finally gave out.

His body crashed heavily onto the arena floor while Anthony calmly remained standing, holding the freshly detached arm for a brief moment. At the same time, another disciple manipulated the blood scattered throughout the battlefield, forming countless blood constructs. Every construct had been strengthened by the Law of Blood, each one possessing enough destructive power to tear through planets back at the Acarnis Galaxy.

But Anthony didn’t even flinch. As the attacks approached, the Law of Enhancement awakened, already standing proudly at the Law Embodiment Stage. The detached arm within Anthony’s grasp was instantly enhanced to an absurd degree. Using it as though it were a sword, Anthony effortlessly deflected every incoming blood construct with unbelievable precision. Massive ravines and enormous craters were carved into the arena each time a blood construct struck the ground.

Anthony casually tossed the severed arm aside as the Law of Space came alive, already standing at the Law Manifestation Stage. The young woman controlling the blood suddenly found herself standing directly before Anthony. She hadn’t sensed space fluctuate. She hadn’t felt herself move. No... to her, it felt as though Anthony had crossed the distance while she herself remained completely still. Yet reality was the exact opposite. She had been the one who moved, not Anthony. His mastery over the Law of Space was simply that outrageous.

The Law of Blood immediately awakened beneath Anthony’s control as the Law itself hummed around him. With a resounding boom, the girl’s knees violently slammed into the arena floor as she felt her own blood trembling in absolute terror before the eldritch existence standing before her. She desperately tried to move, but she couldn’t. Her blood no longer belonged to her. Every drop now existed completely under Anthony’s Law Embodiment.

Then she experienced it.

Her body trembled uncontrollably as her blood began boiling inside her veins in real time. Slowly and painfully, every droplet transformed into countless microscopic blood spikes, each one just long enough to pierce through her organs, muscles, veins, bones, and every internal structure imaginable without ever puncturing the outer layer of her skin. She experienced pain unlike anything she had ever imagined as Anthony calmly manipulated her heart through the Law of Blood, forcing it to beat faster and faster, pumping even more blood throughout her body only to intensify her suffering.

Finally, Anthony transformed every drop of blood within her body into poisonous blood. It became a corrosive acid flowing through her veins, burning her from the inside out. Blood streamed from her eyes, ears, nose, and mouth, but the blood itself had become acidic, immediately burning through her skin the moment it emerged. Her screams echoed throughout the arena as though she had been cast into the deepest pits of hell.

She vanished once more beneath the Law of Space as Anthony casually discarded her to the side. Yet another enemy immediately closed the distance, charging toward him as though the horrifying scenes he had just witnessed still weren’t enough to convince him that he possessed absolutely no hope against the monstrous being standing before him.
