Chapter 1272: Power Of Law-2

Chapter 1272: Power Of Law-2

Anthony showed no mercy. They hadn’t intended to show him any mercy either. They had sought to challenge him, they had sought to take advantage of the situation, and they had sought to step over him. He was merely showing them the price they had to pay. He was merely showing them the ladder they still had to climb. He was merely showing them who he truly was. They had sought him out; he hadn’t sought them out, so there was nothing personal about it from his end. It was merely a reminder, merely a statement, merely a proclamation.

The boy had used the Law Enhancement Stage of the Law of Wind to enhance both his speed and the power behind his attack, but it was simply futile and useless. As his hammer was about to land on Anthony, it immediately paused midair as though Time itself had frozen. But it hadn’t. Anthony had simply frozen him in place through the Law of Wind.

Reality itself seemed to blink as the boy suddenly found himself on his knees, his eyes snapping toward Anthony only to meet a pair of indifferent sky-blue eyes. Before he could even speak or blink, the Law of Wind had already begun its work. The next moment, the boy felt his lungs shudder in fear, his heart turning cold as though he had come face to face with death itself. Then, the oxygen and air he had breathed into his body began to leave through his mouth and nostrils against his will.

His body began to pale in real time as his lungs were pushed to their very limits. He felt cold, as though he had suddenly become anaemic, while his heart gradually slowed as it received no oxygen. But Anthony didn’t stop there. The Law of Wind pushed even further as he tapped directly into the boy’s bloodstream, specifically the oxygenated blood, and immediately separated every trace of oxygen from it.

With that single act alone, every organ within the boy’s body immediately began to fail. His brain lost function, his kidneys stopped working, and his entire body rapidly approached complete systemic collapse. As the boy reached death’s door, Anthony released his control over the Law of Wind, and the boy’s body vanished from where he had been kneeling.

The very moment he did, another attack descended from above. A flame-type attack enhanced by the Law of Flames immediately crashed down upon Anthony with terrifying intensity and madness. Heat climbed with explosive speed as the arena floor itself began to melt away, transforming into rivers of molten lava beneath the influence of the Law of Flames.

Silence swept through the battlefield as the remaining disciples held their breaths, wondering whether this devil in Human skin had finally been defeated. After all, they had caught him off guard with that flame attack, right? Right???

Wrong.

From the choking smoke and churning debris, Anthony’s figure appeared once more. His face remained flawless, while his purple robes were just as immaculate and perfectly pressed as they had been before the attack. There wasn’t a single scratch, burn, or mark anywhere on his body or clothing.

The disciples’ eyes narrowed. They hadn’t even sensed him using any Law to block the attack. If he had, they should have sensed it. Yet they sensed absolutely nothing, as though the man had simply tanked the attack head-on and walked away completely unharmed.

And that was precisely what had happened. Anthony was immune to flames, heat, high temperatures, whatever form they took. It didn’t matter whether it was the Law of Flames, the Concept of Flames, or even the Authority of Flames. He possessed True Immunity.

Anthony’s eyes calmly traced the fluctuations of the Law of Flames, following the exact trajectory from which the attack had originated. His gaze settled upon a young man. The instant their eyes met, the boy froze as an overwhelming chill consumed his body. His mouth immediately opened as he attempted to surrender and get the fuck out of that damned arena.

But it was already too late. You couldn’t attack Null Anthony and hope to wake up the next day without paying for your sins.

Using the Law of Sound, Anthony erased all sound around the disciple, preventing the boy’s words from reaching anyone’s ears. As a result, his surrender became completely meaningless.

Before the disciple could even turn around and flee, he suddenly found himself kneeling directly before Anthony, just as the others had before him. Anthony had erased the distance separating them with absolute ease.

The Law of Flames immediately came alive beneath Anthony’s control as he burned the boy from within with an utterly indifferent expression. The boy screamed, and this time, the sound reached everyone’s ears because Anthony had already restored sound to normal. His flesh burned, his organs burned, his eyes burned, his inner ears burned, and even the marrow within his bones burned. Nothing was spared. As long as it existed within his body, it burned.

Yet not a single visible flame could be seen on him. Even so, everyone knew he was being roasted alive because they could clearly sense the terrifying Law of Flames Anthony was wielding.

As the boy approached death like the others before him, Anthony finally released him before casually tossing him aside like a ragdoll. His sky-blue eyes then shifted toward the remaining disciples. At that very moment, every single one of them regretted the decision they had made. They couldn’t help but curse the disciple who had first come up with the idea of challenging the apocalypse standing before them.

Anthony was already tired of the fight. He wasn’t someone who enjoyed fighting opponents who had already lost the will to resist. There was simply no satisfaction in that.

So, he decided to end it.

From his body, an outrageous amount of killing intent erupted outward, crashing directly into the remaining disciples. Their bodies immediately sank as they were forced onto their knees in crippling terror, all of them finding themselves within a world of death, destruction, blood, devastation, and endless mountains of corpses.

And within that horrifying world... Anthony stood as an Eternal Monarch.

Anthony’s voice echoed throughout their minds as he calmly issued an order.

"Gouge out your eyes and tear out your tongues," he said, his voice flat, indifferent, and completely unbothered.

The disciples’ hands immediately began to move as they knelt on the ground. They desperately tried to resist, but both their mental strength and sheer will were simply too pitiful to stand against the madness contained within Anthony’s killing intent. They could do nothing except obey his command.

And with that, their fingers sank into their own eye sockets as they dug out their eyes. Their bodies trembled uncontrollably. They knew exactly what they were doing, yet they couldn’t stop. The sheer killing intent pressing upon them had convinced their minds that this agony was infinitely preferable to death itself. If they disobeyed, they would simply become one more corpse added to the endless mountains they had witnessed within that terrifying world.

One after another, eyes were violently ripped from their sockets. Their mouths opened as their tongues extended outward, their trembling fingers gripping them before tearing them free. Tears mixed with blood streamed endlessly from their empty eye sockets as unbearable agony consumed them.

Lying beside every disciple were their own severed tongues and eyes.

But Anthony didn’t appear finished. Or rather, the Challenge Hall Elder still hadn’t stopped him, so Anthony simply continued without taking even a single step, his killing intent still pressing heavily upon every disciple who remained conscious.

"Tear out your organs with your own hands," he stated as though he were giving the most ordinary command imaginable.

Once again, the disciples obeyed. Their trembling hands slowly descended toward their own abdomens, preparing to rip open their stomachs. But before they could do so, a voice echoed from above.

"Stop," the Challenge Hall Elder commanded.

The disciples immediately froze as an invisible force spread throughout the battlefield, instantly erasing Anthony’s killing intent and all of its effects. The disciples immediately fainted, as Anthony had deliberately used just enough killing intent to keep every one of them conscious throughout the ordeal.

"Above Disciple Null Anthony wins," the Challenge Hall Elder declared with a broad smile on his face.
