Chapter 1333: Four To Go
Chapter 1333: Four To Go
His eyes locked on Anthony, who stood perfectly fine as Infinity had blocked the attack like it was nothing. Seeing Anthony, he floated into the air, his Spiritual Force spreading outwards as his eyes locked upon Anthony. As a genius who could define pills and various elixirs, obviously his abilities were centered around the Law of Flame and Spiritual Force.
His Spiritual Force instantly changed force as it slammed down upon Anthony from above as though gravity had increased. Anthony felt the weight on his shoulders as Luth Aleksandr’s Spiritual Force was indeed immense.
With a thought from Luth Aleksandr, his Spiritual Force pulled mountains that were kilometers away, tearing them from their locations as they streaked towards him in less than a blink of an eye. The moment they arrived, his Spiritual Force constructed them into boulders, his Law of Flames coming alive as they enveloped the tens of boulders that were colossal in size.
They seemed to become meteors as they plummeted with blazing power. Without a shred of hesitation, Luth Aleksandr pointed his finger downwards, and with a boom, the boulders streaked forward.
Anthony smirked, he sheathed his katana as though Luth Aleksandr’s Spiritual Force wasn’t locking him in place. As he sheathed his katana, his hand rose ever so slowly as the Law of Sword hummed around his right index finger. With a wide grin and an indifferent upward swing of his right hand, he unleashed an unseen, invisible attack.
The falling meteors immediately froze as something tore through them with sharp force. The next moment, they shone and exploded midair.
As Anthony was about to shoot upwards, a formation activated right under his feet as he felt his body being dragged. His eyes moved to see that Jerome Satire of the Heaven Sealers Pavilion had drawn a slow-motion Formation.
The next moment, Maris Matis of the Runic Will Association stepped into the Formation as he appeared before Anthony. Various golden Runes floated around as he held Anthony’s head with both hands, the Runes flying into Anthony’s head, his real goal being to explode Anthony’s mind from within.
But before he could even achieve his goal, he felt something tear through his chest. He suddenly felt warm, then cold, and he felt empty. His eyes lost focus for a moment as his eyes shifted downward, there, he could see Anthony’s hand plunging through his chest and tearing his heart out through the back.
Blood dripped onto the Formation as confusion filled his eyes. The Formation was supposed to make Anthony as slow as a cheetah. The Runes that entered Anthony’s mind were supposed to make him focus on a mental battle that should have happened between the both of them. Instead, he had been killed.
But as his consciousness flickered out, he suddenly moved, his body flickering backwards as he left Anthony’s head. Another series of Runes appeared around him as he tried to preserve his state for a couple of seconds, then save himself.
But the moment the Runes appeared, Anthony was already there as his hand blurred in a straight line across Maris Matis’ neck. Flesh parted, throat tore apart, blood splattered as head divorced the neck.
Maris Matis had died. He had become the first victim of the six, leaving five remaining. Anthony had recognized the Runes the boy had used to try and preserve himself, after all, he himself was a Rune Formation Master.
As Maris Matis’ body hit the ground, Anthony felt a Mark being etched into the back of his hand. He raised a hand and stared at it for a moment, then it lost its strength instantly as a Divine Flame came alive, consuming Maris Matis’ body and soul.
The five geniuses instantly frowned. Maris Matis was no weaker than them, with Runes on his side, the man was able to tap into almost every power source, yet he was the first to die.
The determination and certainty that burned in their eyes and minds seemed to vanish the next moment as they finally understood that just because it was six against one didn’t mean they could win.
They couldn’t help but wonder who was next.
Jerome Satire wore a huge frown, deep down, he knew he was now the weakest person here. How he came to that conclusion? He could literally see that Anthony was somehow an expert in Formations or was immune to them, after all, all the Formations he had drawn earlier were useless as Anthony seemed to sense them and avoid them instantly while battling Li Xinyi and Su Ming at the same time.
Not only that, the Illusion Formation from earlier and the Slow Motion Formation had both failed.
His body blurred backwards as he tried to put a distance between him and Anthony. He would wait out this round and fight against other geniuses for the corpse of the Higher One, after all, against them, he was confident that his Formation would work.
But the moment he vanished, he bumped into something. He turned around to look, just to see what he had bumped into, only for his eyes to land on a white-haired Human man with blue eyes, dressed in robes and a smile as his eyes remained clasped behind his back.
Jerome Satire couldn’t understand how Anthony had crossed the distance. He had only taken his eyes off his opponent just long enough to move backwards enough to create distance, yet in that fraction of time, his opponent had closed the distance and arrived at his destination before him.
Jerome Satire didn’t hesitate, he immediately took a slate that had the Time Formation carved on it, but the moment his Origin Essence was about to flow into it, he suddenly couldn’t feel his hand anymore.
The hand dropped to the ground with a weak thud, the moment it did, the slate followed. His eyes trembled as he hadn’t even seen how Anthony had severed his arm. He instinctively moved backwards, but before he could even move, all he saw was a silver flash, and his head soared into the air.
His body hit the ground as his head rolled forward like a football. Anthony stepped on the head as fear could be seen etched on the face, with the slightest bit of force, he crushed the head under his foot as Divine Flames blazed from his foot and consumed the corpse once more.
Two down, four to go.
Anthony’s eyes rose forward, the remaining four frowned as they saw Anthony’s eyes on them. They hadn’t made a single move to save Jerome Satire, they had no reason whatsoever to do that.
Besides, any of them could be next, they had to make sure to remain alive.
Anthony’s eyes shifted towards Diedera Parkshu of the Dreaming Nightmare Organization, the man seemed not interested in attacking, but Anthony knew the guy was simply conserving his stamina and strength as he wanted everyone to kill each other.
But now, Diedera Parkshu was going to start attacking as he knew if he didn’t work together with the others, they might not be able to bring down this Human without critical injuries.
’No wonder he was so confident and nonchalant,’ Diedera Parkshu thought.
But the moment that thought echoed in his mind, Anthony took a step and appeared beside him as though he ignored the concept of distance entirely.
