Chapter 1334: Three Down

Seeing Anthony appear beside him, Diedera Parkshu didn’t hesitate to move, his demeanor turning dangerous like that of a jungle king as his spear flashed in purple as he enhanced himself and his weapon with his Origin Essence, the tip screaming towards Anthony’s ribs.

Seeing the incoming attack, Anthony twisted out of the way as his footwork changed, the attack missing him by barely a few centimeters. The moment he dodged, his fist met Diedera Parkshu’s side with maddening force. But as the attack connected, Diedera Parkshu instantly tapped into his Law of Sound as he created a sound barrier and an Origin Essence barrier at the point of contact.

With a booming force, Anthony’s fist met the stacked barriers. The barrier shook, but it didn’t collapse; it held firmly. Anthony stared into Diedera Parkshu’s pink eyes. The man was from the Kitsune race, and he possessed an illusion innate ability, but didn’t bother to use it after seeing that the Illusion Formation didn’t work on Anthony.

As Anthony was about to follow up without another thought, Li Xinyi, Su Ming, and Luth Aleksandr closed the distance without a sound, as Diedera Parkshu had used his Law of Sound to make them arrive as stealthily as possible. But it was still futile; Anthony had other ways to sense people besides from sound.

Anthony moved as he abandoned Diedera Parkshu for now and turned to meet the incoming three. His katana flashed from its scabbard yet again as he parried Su Ming’s attack to the side, the Law of Sword and Law of Sharpness razing everything above and below to total madness.

Li Xinyi, covering herself in the Law of Sword so she wouldn’t be affected by Su Ming’s ravaging attacks, made her own move. Her rapier hummed with the Law of Insect as she unleashed a series of stabs. The moment she did that, various chemicals exploded like a smoke bomb, each of various colors and effects.

Anthony’s eyes narrowed as he understood that Li Xinyi seemed to express her insect abilities through her rapier rather than through her body. His body blurred as he shot up, moving out of the multicolored unknown smoky chemicals. They seemed to possess various effects; some seemed to possess aphrodisiac properties, some possessed paralysis, hallucinations, delirium, agitation, fear-inducing effects, and many more.

Clearly, Li Xinyi had just unleashed a punch of chemicals so that anyone that took even a whiff would be affected, though their effects varied.

As he shot towards the cloudless sky, Li Xinyi didn’t let up. Using her Spiritual Force, she controlled the chemicals and sent them towards Anthony. Anthony’s attention turned towards the incoming attack. He paused mid-motion, then turned around as the Law of Light came alive around him. With a wave of his hand, a pulse of golden light blazed downwards as though it was a fragment of the sun.

There was no explosion or anything of the sort, just pure erasing energy as all the chemicals vanished.

The moment that was done, Su Ming was already on the move. She swung her sword upwards and towards the sky as though she wished to split the heavens. Her Law of Sword spiked to a dangerous level as it slammed into the sky above Anthony. Anthony’s eyes snapped upwards to see that the sky had parted. Then, from it, the Law of Sword hummed as billions of swords made of the Law of Sword appeared.

Without a shred of hesitation, the billions of Law of Sword constructs shot towards Anthony. One couldn’t see them; they could only sense or feel them if they possessed enough senses.

Anthony didn’t move. He simply remained in place with his katana in hand. He sheathed his katana for one moment, then unsheathed it the next in a slow motion, but the moment it reached halfway, Anthony stopped and sheathed it back as though he had changed his mind.

The moment he did that, the entirety of the sky itself seemed to freeze in that moment. And with a galaxy-shaking blast, an unseen force tore outward with razing sharpness as every construct from the Law of Sword was erased before they could even touch him.

Space tore apart, time fractured, reality collapsed, wind barriers were erased, sound was annihilated, and the sky in totality seemed to become nonexistent.

Su Ming stood below as she watched. She couldn’t help but believe such a height existed with the sword. She stared in amazement as though her love for the sword overwhelmed the need for this battle.

But unlike her, the other three didn’t have time to admire whatever display Anthony had put on. Li Xinyi appeared in the sky, dragonfly wings now on her back as they had changed from a butterfly’s.

The moment she closed the distance, she raised her rapier once more and unleashed a vertical slash. The attack screamed forward towards Anthony, but as Anthony was about to dodge with just a mere movement of his body, Li Xinyi’s attack stopped and tore into itself, ripping it open.

The next moment, from the torn space, gigantic insects that matched the size of Humans moved out, tens, hundreds, millions. The number didn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. But before they could even move and attack, Luth Aleksandr appeared once again as his Law of Flame came alive.

He covered each summoned Insect with his green flames, augmenting their attacks. Even his Spiritual Force reinforced their defenses. The moment that was done, the billions of insects shot forward in an endless drive.

Anthony floated with the same smile on his face. The Law of Space hummed around him as space began to compress into spatial crescents that could cleave through anything and everything. With a thought, the spatial lines erupted outwards with overwhelming cleaving force and power, each tearing force adjusting to the power of each Insect as though the attack was tailored specifically for them.

Su Ming shot forward from below as she moved in a streak, using her Law of Sharpness and Law of Sword to move. Her sword danced in her hand as she parried each and every one of Anthony’s spatial cleave attacks. Her hand danced through the air as her sword moved endlessly.

Anthony’s eyes turned towards her. He raised a hand and increased the power output behind the spatial cleaves attacking Su Ming. Seeing this danger flood Su Ming’s senses and body, she didn’t hesitate to move to the side, but it was useless. Space was everywhere, and so was this attack.

Like a hot knife through butter, the spatial cleave tore through her Law of Sword, Law of Sharpness, and Origin Essence as it cleaved her body in perfect half from the head to the waist.

Green blood splattered into the air, each half of her body collapsing to the left and right, her corpses plummeting from the sky. But even as they plummeted, Anthony’s spatial cleave met the two halves, dicing them until only the smallest pieces of flesh remained.

Three down, three more to go.

Anthony returned his attention to the Insects. None of them had even managed to get close to him, yet they didn’t fear for their lives. Corpses plummeted from the sky endlessly as thousands died with each passing second.

The entire land and sky seemed to turn into a literal graveyard as blood and corpses painted everything and everywhere.
