MIGHT AS WELL BE OP

Chapter 1348: A Variety Of Ways

Anthony’s All Seeing Eyes and senses picked up the changes in Chaos Betroth’s emotions and demeanor. He arched an eyebrow and looked at her in surprise for a moment, unable to help wondering what was going through the woman’s head. All he could sense from her at the moment was anticipation, glee, and happiness.

He shook his head, choosing not to say anything. Although there was something he possessed that could increase Chaos Betroth’s strength before she participated in the battle, unfortunately, none of them could instantly power her up within a day or two. After all, he didn’t plan on staying within this inn for longer than two days.

They might just leave tomorrow and begin the chaos, depending on his mood.

"You still haven’t answered the question I asked earlier, you know," Jerry’s voice came again. "What if we all hide within that secret realm of yours? We should be pretty much safe there."

Anthony turned his attention to Jerry as he replied, "That is part of the plan. I will have you guys stay there while I handle whatever is happening outside." His tone was level and calm.

Chu Feng arched an eyebrow as he asked, "What do you mean by handling whatever is happening outside?"

Anthony sighed as he asked, "If I said I could take on all the Eternal Apexes without dying, would you guys believe me?" His eyes met Chu Feng’s black ones.

"This isn’t the time to kid around, Anthony," Tory Hale couldn’t help but say.

With his ability, he had the chance to comprehend every Law in existence to the Embodiment Stage. He wasn’t about to die before reaching the absolute peak.

Anthony sighed as he broke eye contact, turning his eyes towards the window as he spoke. "What’s the use of telling you guys what I’m going to do if you don’t believe me?" He shook his head with an exasperated tone.

Jerry, Chu Feng, Lora Vake, and Tory Hale were speechless at what they had just heard. They couldn’t help but wonder if Anthony had gone mad. Eternal Apexes were the pinnacle of the Ecliptica Galaxy, and he was talking about taking on over a hundred of them. There were even Ancient Behemoths that would join the fight. How could anyone possibly win against such a number?

Honestly, Anthony wasn’t bothered. With the Authority Of Severance alone, he could wipe out all the Eternal Apexes without even making a move. That was how overpowered an Authority was, as it stood above Laws and Concepts alike.

He could simply use the Divine Flame and burn everything out of existence.

Better still, he could use the Three Seconds Freezing ability under Sense Dome to freeze everything in existence for three seconds, then wipe out all life.

He could also use Thought Conception to annihilate everyone, their Organizations, their Territories, and everything else.

Or, he could use his Twelve Star Rune Formation Master ability to seal everyone, then kill them from within.

Heck, he could use the Poison Body ability and wipe out everybody as though he were some Poison Lord or something of the sort.

There was even the method of using the Death Blesser ability he had used against the Second Supreme Monarch’s descendants, by stealing the Eternal Apexes’ lifespans until they simply died.

He hadn’t even used wicked methods like Bloodline Curses or the Specific Puppet Curse to target these people individually. All of those were among his abilities.

He could even use an artifact that could explode and wipe out the entire Hellinder Realm in its entirety, and that was just one of the artifacts he could use.

And the best part? He had his own Behemoth. Not an Ancient Behemoth, but a Primordial One named Voryss, who could wipe out everything within the Ecliptica Galaxy in less than a split second.

All in all, he had a variety of ways to end this battle before any of them could even blink. When it came to firepower, versatility, endless trump cards, and overwhelming abilities, Anthony had it all in spades. His use of Laws was simply him going easy on his opponents and giving them an opportunity to display what they had before they died.

So, could he win? It was a no-brainer. But how? That day would decide.

"I can’t understand how you can be so calm and unbothered about everything," Lora Vake spoke, a sigh escaping her lips as she gave up. She would happily stay within the secret realm and let everything die down.

It wasn’t as though she had a choice anyway. She couldn’t do anything to help in any capacity, so staying out of the way was, in a way, the best support she could give.

"You guys just worry too much, is all," Anthony mused aloud as he shook his head.

Chaos Betroth, who had been silent, waved a hand, and a plate of delicacies appeared before everyone. The Above disciples immediately forgot about the cloud of death looming over their heads. This was cuisine they could never get their hands on, as only people on Chaos Betroth’s level could hunt beasts of this caliber and even eat rare food like these.

If they were all going to die, this was the perfect choice for their last meal within the Hellinder Realm.

"I’m only bringing out this food because I know everyone is exhausted," Chaos Betroth began to speak. "And it would be extremely dumb and stupid to eat anything that this inn serves us," she added.

As those words left her lips, everyone felt various senses sweep past them, as though someone were sensing and reading what they were doing. Everyone froze for a moment before beginning to eat, as they understood that their enemies were simply checking up on them without even bothering to hide it.

Which was understandable. Why should they hide their spying when they were already public enemies?

At this moment, various Eternal Apexes, powerhouses, and other figures surrounded the entire inn from top to bottom. They didn’t pay for rooms or anything of the sort. They simply floated above the building or hovered beside it. Some paid for rooms and waited for Anthony, as if he was going to rest, they would rest too while watching him.

But seeing Anthony having a feast with members of his Sect left everyone speechless. Imagine having forces from all over the Sathor Grand Region as enemies, yet all you did was relax and eat.

The manager of the inn felt like dying. He couldn’t understand why all these cultivation big shots were surrounding his inn. He didn’t dare demand payment from anybody and offered rooms free of charge to anyone who wanted one, although the cultivators always ended up paying. It was simply too cheap for people of their level.

’It seems nobody is possessed,’ Chaos Betroth told herself as her eyes moved to Anthony, then to Jerry, Tory Hale, Chu Feng, and lastly, Lora Vake.

Just because the situation had taken a huge, unpredictable, and unprecedented turn didn’t mean she had forgotten about her mission of watching them to determine if anyone had been possessed. And right now, her current conclusion was that nobody was possessed, although she would continue observing them, just in case The Lover Of Death had made a secret move after giving Anthony his treasures.
