Chapter 1374: A Technique Above Universal Level

At his Master’s words, Chu Feng simply nodded lightly. He never bothered to compare himself to Anthony. Only an idiot or someone who never knew who they were comparing themselves to would make such a mistake. If there was anything to learn from Anthony, he would learn it; if there was nothing to learn, he wouldn’t disturb him.

"Anyway, the Sathor Grand Region would be shaken for the next few days. Many Organizations and Territories might move for revenge. After all, none of them can just sit back and watch a single man possess the power to wipe out a hundred Eternal Apexes. They would all want the power for themselves and move in the name of justice and ending Anthony’s tyranny."

The Old Man stated as he predicted what would happen in the next few days. Personally, he couldn’t help but laugh at any delusional Organization that picked a fight with Anthony. He would have said a prayer for them, but alas, the concept of god was just a facade.

"What if nobody makes a move?"

Chu Feng asked telepathically, as if he were in these Organizations’ shoes, that was what he would do.

The Old Man stayed silent for a moment, then stated in a calm tone.

"I think they would. But if they don’t, then I will applaud every powerhouse for growing a grain of common sense."

His words were flat, as he already had an opinion of all these people. As someone who once stood at the top before his death, he knew that standing at the top for too long without any challenges or worthy opponents usually fooled people into thinking they were the strongest or the best at something.

Just like these Ancient Organizations. To them, they’ve only lost one Eternal Apex each, and if their opponent can kill a hundred, then they would send out more for revenge, combining their forces to around a thousand Eternal Apexes if possible, as they would try to save face and act simultaneously out of greed.

All the while, not knowing they were cutting off their own legs like idiots, as other Ancient Organizations would wage war on another Organization once they lost significant numbers of their powerhouses, like the Eternal Apexes.

After all, just because they can’t defeat Anthony and uncover his secrets together doesn’t mean they can’t wage war on another Organization that got the short end of the stick during the battle.

"If there is any Organization I think will act, I’m guessing the Vanishing Reapers would definitely act, as their entire reputation depends on it. After all, Anthony being alive is evidence that even they can fail and are powerless against absolute power."

Chu Feng stated as his mind snapped to the Vanishing Reapers that had deployed an Eternal Apex.

And indeed, Chu Feng was right. The Founders of the Vanishing Reapers were looking for the real culprit behind the death of Nature’s Savant, and once news reached them that Anthony had wiped out a group of Eternal Apexes, they wouldn’t need to think or guess to know that the prey had devoured the predator.

"Indeed," the Old Man replied, a small smile appearing on his lips.

"A nice show all this might be. I’m looking forward to it," he added with an expression of pure anticipation and eagerness.

Since he couldn’t fight personally or partake in battle unless he was piloting Chu Feng’s body, he usually cured his boredom by watching these so-called Ancient Organizations bicker around. It was no different from a television drama series to him.

Chu Feng shook his head at his Master’s behavior but made no comment. It wasn’t like the man was instigating anything. Besides, the man was simply bored, that was all.

Suddenly, Anthony, who was lying on the bed, floated upwards as he remained in the lying position. He shifted, then landed on his feet. With that, he turned and walked towards one of the houses on the airship.

"Where are you going?"

Lora Vake asked as Anthony walked past her, Tory Hale, and Jerry. She didn’t want him to leave just yet.

At her question, Anthony answered flatly without slowing his step or hiding his purpose.

"To breakthrough to the Eternal Apex cultivation rank."

His tone and manner of speech were indifferent, as though what he had said was normal. But it wasn’t. It fucking wasn’t.

At his words, everyone froze in their seats. They wondered if they had heard wrong. Weren’t they all at the Star Monarch rank together? And now they were being told casually that he was going to jump seven ranks in one go.

They wanted to ask, they wanted to say something, they wanted to know how it was possible. But then, it occurred to them that an ability like the Thought Conception should be able to make this possible, right?

They could only watch him as he walked without a shred of hesitation or doubt in himself.

As Anthony reached Chu Feng, his lips parted as he spoke once more.

"Finally decided to show yourself, Old Man."

As these words left his lips, he didn’t stop. He simply walked past Chu Feng as though the boy wasn’t there. He opened a door to one of the rooms, then stepped in, vanishing into the Divine Realm.

Chu Feng and the Old Man were both speechless. They had both thought that Anthony couldn’t see the Manifestation, yet they had been completely wrong, and it shocked them to the core.

And the way Anthony had said it, they both didn’t need to think or guess to know that Anthony had been aware of the Old Man’s presence all along.

"Master, how is this even possible?"

Chu Feng asked as his mind struggled to comprehend it.

The Old Man remained silent with a puzzled expression as he replied.

"It must be one of his Sensory abilities or something of that nature. The technique I’m using to manifest myself isn’t something even Anthony should be able to see through due to the high rank of the technique and it not being of this Universe, but alas..."

His tone was a bit heavy as he sighed. Only Chu Feng should be able to see him, as he had tweaked the technique to allow for Chu Feng to perceive him.

And indeed, the Old Man had deduced correctly. Anthony had sensed him through the Sense Dome the moment he appeared. Even his All Seeing Eyes could see the man’s invisible Manifestation. It was perfect, to say the least, but it wasn’t enough to evade Anthony’s ridiculous senses.

And with that, both Master and disciple were left to deal with the implications of what this reveal meant.
