Chapter 1375: Bounty
Chapter 1375: Bounty
A week quickly passed by as the airship drew closer to the Null Sect Floating City; they were merely an hour away. Throughout the entire time, Chaos Betroth remained in seclusion, not even coming out.
As for Anthony, he was already out, as he had simply reached the Eternal Apexes cultivation rank with nothing but a mere thought. He received every qualitative leap in physical strength, Existence, and Metamorphosis that they all went through. But to Anthony, they were all negligible, as he could already kill Eternal Apexes.
When Anthony had stepped out of his so-called seclusion after merely an hour, the rest of the group were dumbfounded. They hadn’t expected the breakthrough to be so smooth to the point that they didn’t notice anything or sense any power and Origin Essence Energy fluctuations.
They all understood that with Anthony stepping into the Eternal Apexes realm, he could no longer enter any Inheritance Realms. Well, Inheritance Realms were not something common, so even they might not be able to enter another for the rest of their lives, as Inheritance Realms focused on the younger generation. Only a few, like The Lover Of Death’s, allowed people as strong as them.
Although they had failed to consider the possibility that Anthony could still enter any Inheritance Realm he wanted, with or without restrictions. Just a simple thought was all that it required.
But, just like the Chaos Betroth, the Above disciples had all entered seclusion, each of them having their own insights to go through, hence leaving Anthony to simply sit on the main deck while he watched the stars in the sky each night.
During the past one week, the Above disciples had been a bit restless despite their training. Restless in regards to the fact that these Ancient Behemoths might ambush them for revenge. Although Anthony had wiped out Eternal Apexes a week ago, one could never be too cautious, no?
Within the last one week, news of Anthony’s rampage had made its way throughout the entire Sathor Grand Region. Anthony felt the Perfect One skill go off as people searched for information on him through various Laws and abilities. He allowed them to see whatever they wanted, as he had nothing to hide, aside from his reincarnation.
As for hiding the system, he didn’t need to, as there was no way these people could sense the system unless he actually talked about it and revealed its secrets.
The entire Sathor Grand Region went through various levels of shock with each reveal. They could hardly believe that someone possessed the power to wipe out over one hundred Eternal Apexes and five Ancient Behemoths. Various Organizations, Families, Pavilions, and Territories all expressed their rage.
Losing an Eternal Apex was a huge loss. A very big one.
Although places like the Universal Cauldron didn’t experience any loss, as they didn’t bother getting involved. Even if there was any exotic flower or material within The Lover Of Death’s inheritance, they could always just buy it later from whoever had it.
The other nine Grand Regions were also speechless as the news reached them. Obviously, there had been various Eternal Apexes in the past who could take on up to two or three Eternal Apexes at the same time.
But one hundred? That made them stagger and wonder if this Human boy had come from a Higher Universe or something instead of a Lower Galaxy.
Over the past one week, various Organizations had thought about just heading to the Acarnis Galaxy and destroying it. But they didn’t, as they guessed that someone like Anthony wouldn’t care. They knew of his parents and grandparents, but they already knew that even they had ascended to other Upper Galaxies.
Although they could travel to other Upper Galaxies just like how they could travel to other Lower Galaxies, nobody was willing to spend a huge amount of resources searching trillions of Upper Galaxies just for revenge over the death of a single Eternal Apex. The cost wasn’t exactly worth it.
But that didn’t mean this matter had died. With the amount of information they had on their opponent, they started creating plans to kill him.
But if these plans would work or not, only time would tell.
As for the Vanishing Reapers, they had already concluded that Anthony was the one who killed the Nature’s Savant. They were willing to do anything aside from jumping to their deaths by attacking him simultaneously.
They, who had ruled the assassination markets for ages, were now ready to pay a third party any amount to assassinate anybody.
The Head of the Asura Clan who had paid for Anthony’s assassination was restless. He imagined countless times that Anthony would come to his house for revenge. And since he was restless out of fear of death, he started sleeping, something he hadn’t done for centuries.
But even in his sleep, he still found Anthony there, the boy wiping out the entire Asura Race out of spite.
As for the Garuda, Rakshasa, and the Yaksha, who had paid for Anthony’s assassination initially but took back their money as they couldn’t afford the new price stated by the Vanishing Reapers, they simply sneered at the Asura Clan.
While they might not be mortal enemies, it doesn’t mean they wouldn’t bask in their torment and deaths.
They could only thank their luck and the Vanishing Reapers for staking a sky-high price. If not, they might be in the same situation as the Asura Clan.
While their geniuses had gone to the Sleeping Hollow, they hadn’t gone with Eternal Apex powerhouses, as such forces were rare to a Clan like theirs.
And so, within the matter of a single week, Anthony possessed an immense bounty on his head. The amount was so staggering that people seemed to ignore that this man had wiped out Eternal Apexes and actually planned to execute this mission.
They couldn’t be blamed, as they were all trying their luck, after all, the rewards there would allow anyone to get to the Eternal Apex and even more. After all, this was a reward from collective forces.
