MIGHT AS WELL BE OP

Chapter 1395: Such A Tragic Fate

Chapter 1395: Such A Tragic Fate

The Sect Master and Core Elders’ eyes flashed with a peculiar light. If they released the news of Anthony’s Transcendence, it would shake the entire Ecliptica Galaxy to its freaking core. After all, the sealed Path affected the whole Ecliptica Galaxy, not just the Hellinder Realm.

The information would make them famous across the entire Galaxy, and if they could get people to watch the event, it would boost their prestige even further.

They knew that with Anthony’s Transcendence, various people would immediately attack them to usurp whatever secrets they possessed now that their greatest strength and powerhouse had Transcended. But those people would have a nasty surprise waiting for them, one that would slaughter them for making such an assumption and acting on it.

The Core Elders and Sect Master nodded after a moment of thought. They would prepare for everything accordingly.

"The finer details will be worked out before I Transcend."

Anthony stated after they nodded.

"Anything else?"

He asked calmly.

The Sect Master and Core Elders looked at each other for a moment, then shook their heads, as they didn’t have anything major to say.

"I will be heading out to see my girlfriend in two or three days. If you need anything within that time frame, tell me before I leave. As for my return, I will be back soon enough, as my girlfriend wouldn’t be able to interrupt her cultivation for a date for too long."

He mused aloud as he turned and started walking towards the door, exiting the Sect Master Hall.

Watching Anthony walk away, the Core Elders and Sect Master could only look on in pure fascination. In their minds, they all planned to immediately start having children. After all, once someone reached the Eternal Regent Rank, they possessed the ability to give birth to a single child at will.

Yes, they knew their children could never measure up to Anthony. They knew their children would pale in comparison. They knew that Anthony was a singular existence. But... they could only try, and they could only hope.

They all wondered what Title Anthony was going to receive in the coming days. They wondered how powerful the Title would make him, if he could even become any more powerful than he already was.

Anthony stepped out of the Sect Master Hall and took a deep breath, as if adjusting to the atmosphere of the Null Sect. After a moment, he vanished from his position, his figure reappearing in the Above Disciple Area.

The moment he appeared, he started walking towards his mountain and hill, but before he could walk any further, Jerry, Lora Vake, Chu Feng, and Tory Hale appeared before him.

"Did you end up taking the position of the Sixth Core Elder?"

Lora Vake asked. She was simply too curious, even though the information wouldn’t benefit her life in any way.

Anthony sighed. He had just finished dealing with the Sect Master and Core Elders, and he didn’t have time for these Above Disciples. All he wanted to do was sleep at the moment.

"Yeah, I did. The Sect Master was really convincing, although I doubt I’ll be around for long."

He stated as he walked past Chu Feng and continued towards his mountain, a tired expression on his face.

None of them blocked Anthony’s path anymore, as they could see the weary expression he wore. They weren’t insensitive people after all, so the four simply nodded and gave him space. Their bodies vanished from their positions as they returned to their respective mountains.

After walking for a while, Anthony arrived at the top of the mountain and stepped into his courtyard. There, Jarod could be seen standing with his hands clasped in front of him.

"Welcome back, my Lord."

He greeted him with a bow, his tone filled with deep respect.

At this moment, he was filled with various emotions. He didn’t know what to say to Anthony or how to express how he felt.

Within the past month that Anthony had been gone, he had spent the entire time training, trying not to disappoint his Master upon his return. And in doing so, he had made so much progress that he had never thought possible in his life as a mere servant.

And not only that, he had heard the news of Anthony’s feats. Although he was a mere servant and hadn’t formed his own information network like the other servants serving the Above Disciples, he had now become familiar with them after visiting them throughout the past month.

So, they had passed on the news of Anthony’s ridiculous feats to him before Anthony’s return.

Anthony stared down at Jarod for a moment before speaking in a calm tone.

"It seems you weren’t even worried about whether I died or not within the Sleeping Hollow and simply spent all that time training."

Anthony spoke with a heavy sigh as he shook his head.

Jarod froze on the spot for a moment. He didn’t know what to say. What was he supposed to say? His Master was indeed right. He hadn’t exactly been worried and had spent all that time training.

"I’m just messing around with you."

Anthony spoke with a small chuckle. He walked forward, placed a hand on Jarod’s shoulder, and continued.

"It seems you’ve made good progress, Jarod. Keep up the good work."

His tone was calm and motivating. With that, he walked past the boy and went deeper into his building.

Anthony wouldn’t lie; he would miss this guy, after all, he had grown close to him. But unfortunately, he couldn’t take anyone along with him when he Transcended. Yes, he could take Jarod, but he wouldn’t do it. When he reached the next Plane of Existence, he would have a new servant or someone else to attend to him.

Jarod stood frozen for a moment. Then, a smile appeared on his lips. His Master had acknowledged his hard work. He wasn’t some boy or child seeking his father’s approval or anything like that, but everyone loved being recognised for their hard work.

But unfortunately for Jarod... he would be left behind soon. Such a tragic fate. But at least, he would get to tell his children, great-grandchildren, and entire Bloodline that he had once been a servant of Null Anthony.

And they were a powerful Bloodline because of the man known as Null Anthony.
