Chapter 3360 Worse Than Grimms
Chapter 3360 Worse Than Grimms
Inside, something horrifying is happening in the building.
Something I had only heard about it and read about it, but the first time coming across it.
I saw rows and rows of Primary-III and a few Sovereigns. Each of them bounds, with grey things attached to their heart and their tentacles spread around their bodies.
They are in horrific pain, but their mouths are shut.
This is a human harvesting and I wish, this is rare in the world, but it is not. Here people are crazy about progress and would do anything, including using people for resources.
Here they are using a parasite called innirithe and with it, they are harvesting, the essence of natives.
These people here have made them cows, where they have bound them and attached paradise, which would harvest their essence without killing them.
The job is being done by the pipes attached to them.
It will feel them with the resources that will help them recover their essence. When they do, these parasites would harvest their essence and this process will repeat over and over.
It is a harmful process that could damage one's base. If not done properly.
Nero looked around and saw there are one hundred and seventy people bound here and with fourteen of them being Primary-III.
There are eleven people who are doing this to them. Including the two guards
I am feeling blazing anger, but I didn't immediately take a step inside.
I had asked Nero to do a few things; all eleven of them are the Sovereigns, with two of them being High-Sovereign.
They are powerful, but I am confident I could handle them. That doesn't mean I won't need to be careful, especially when those poor souls are around.
Half an hour passed, and Nero is finished.
Seeing that, I resumed flying again and my stealthy soul sense become visible.
A few minutes passed, and I stopped as I sensed something and burrowed it deeper until my soul sense touched the building and my soul senses covered the building.
Especially of the two Peak Earth Sovereigns.
A smile lit up on my face, and I reached for a way, finding it quickly and walking on it, and in a few minutes, I walked into the cavern.
"Well, I had not expected, I would see something like this, in icy waste," I said and walked toward the building confidently, showing the aura of Peak Sovereign.
I looked at the two Sovereign guarding the door, and they looked at me. They are alert and I could see the clear fear in their eyes, but they remain in their places.
"Halt, this is a private," said Beastman, and I looked at him lazily.
"I have been traveling in waste for days and needed someone to talk to." "I need to know a few things," I said.
"We can tell you what you want," it said, and my expressions turned mocking. "You ants do not deserve to, I had sensed Peak Sovereigns inside, call them," I said.
"They are busy inside. We can tell you everything you want," said Beastman, with expression hardening.
Though they lasted for a moment before he realized who was talking.
"It seemed like you do not understand what I am saying," I said lazily and raised two of my fingers, and immediately, a thorned energy collar appeared on their necks.
The black energy thorns are inside, barely hairbreadth away from their necks.
In a single command. They will pierce through their necks, killing them in an instant. They seemed to understand that, as horror appeared on their faces.
"I want to talk to my equals that I had sensed, not some ants like you, and If didn't see them in three seconds."
"Well, it will be nice meeting you," I said with a smile and thorn touched their skin, effortlessly piercing their armor and defensive methods.
Click!
I watched them with a smile as the first second had passed and a second too. The third was nearly done when a door opened, and two Sovereigns walked out.
Both of them are Peak Sovereigns, and they are intentionally showing their aura to me.
I looked at them as they walked toward me. One of them is a Monkey Beastman, while the other is a man with stone horns and a tail.
He is rather tall, around seven and a half feet.
"How can we help you, gentleman?" asked the stone horn man, with a small smile, but I could he was alert and angry.
If I hadn't been showing the aura of Peak Sovereign, I am sure it would have attacked me already.
"I have been in the ruin and its exit sent me here. I have been traveling for three days and hope you will provide me a good map," I said and Monkey Beastman smile amicably.
"Falling into the wasteland with such bad luck, but it is better than someone's private territory," said the Monkey Beastman, before a blue crystal appeared in his hand.
"It is the most compressive map I have," he said and threw it at me.
I caught it and sent a strand of soul sense, and immediately a huge map appeared in front of me.
"It is a really detailed map and looks like the closes city is only around two days away from here," I said, and a slight surprise appeared on Monkey Beastman's face and he became quite serious.
"Is there anything you need, gentleman?" he asked, and I turned to him, with a smile on my face.
"Yes, I was wondering. Whether you both feel any guilt about doing something that even spawns wouldn't do?
"Harnessing the essence of fellow natives, which is forbidden and punishable by death, if you don't know about it?" I asked and immediately, their expressions changed.
"Hevex, now!" screamed Monkey Beastman as he burst out of his full power and came at me with a tall, stone-horned man.
"Die, you bastard!" shouted the stone-horned man as it attacked me with his saber. The Monkey Beastman is a lot more silent. It was beside me and attacked me with its straight sword.
I smiled seeing their attacks and letting them come closer and when they were just inches away from me; I disappeared.
BANG!
I appeared behind the stone-horned man and attacked. My attack was so fast that he didn't get a chance to even look at me before my sword hit his head.
It flew away and crashed into the cavern's wall, falling unconscious.
Seeing that, I felt relieved. For a moment, I thought I had killed him and that would have been bad; these bastards do not deserve such an easy death.
I looked at Monkey Beastman, who was looking at me in fear.
These two may be Peak Sovereign, but they are the weakest ones I have come across. They have likely able to reach this level, likely consuming the forbidden resources.
"We work for a very powerful people. If they know what happened here, they will not spare you."
"Even if you ran away, they would hunt you down," it threatened, but I just grinned.
"Nice threat, but I don't care," I replied and moved at him.
