Chapter 3532 Luck Ran Out
Chapter 3532 Luck Ran Out
"Come to me," I said as my strings harvested the flower, whose petals were half-black and half-white.
It is a precious plant; I am more interested in its seeds and thus collected samples of the soul too. This plant will be helpful to me in my next big breakthrough, I am sure.
By then I will be able to take it to the level I want it to be.
It had been only an hour, and I was at the outer edges of this place, but I had already killed one Grimm and found several precious resources.
After I collected the flowers, I moved forward with my strings spreading in all directions to collect the resources for me.
I am also scanning the surrounding area to keep an eye on resources and dangers. My soul sense is covering only a small area; it is the soul waves that are moving further.
I need to use double the soul energy as normal and further; I have got, I will need to use even more.
I am happy with this environment. It will contain everything that happens in a small area. It wouldn't spread far and wide.
Hun!
Half an hour passed, and I had collected a few more resources when I sensed the native.
She is alone like me and now moving toward the three Grimms.
The next wave showed me the visual of three Grimms dying while she was moving ahead.
I watched and resumed my journey. I do not plan to contact her. She is too dangerous and might be a cultist; here, no one can trust anyone other than oneself.
An hour more passed, and the energy became even denser. That had needed to activate another defensive formation for the extra protection.
A few minutes ago, I had found a Grimm. An Inheritance Grimm of High-Earth Sovereign stage. I had been following it; I could have fought it, but I didn't want to risk it.
The energy isn't dense enough to absorb everything in a small area perfectly and it isn't the monster's bloodline and isn't worth the risk.
I will do some old-fashioned following before killing.
I am nearly done anyway. In less than a minute, it will be in my core, along with its storage.
The Grimms have amazing things in their storage. Till now, every Earth Sovereigns Grimm storage I have opened, had something that put a smile on my face and I am sure, this one too will have something to put a smile on my face.
Hun!
A few seconds passed, and I was readying to pull the strings when it appeared by the door small building and took out the tiny key, which it had inserted inside.
Click!
The Werewolf twisted the key and pushed the door open and was about to step inside it when I stopped.
I moved and appeared behind it a second and a half later.
Puch!
"Thank you," I said softly and pierced the spear in the back. A second later, it disappeared, with shock and unwillingness, while I looked ahead at the door, before opening inside.
Hun!
As I stepped inside the small building, I couldn't help but become surprised. A moment later, the surprise turned into a smile.
This place is big from the inside, but it is clear that everything that had been present in it had been taken, except for one thing. The big bookshelf is in the corner; it had been left nearly untouched.
There are very few Grimms who are interested in books. However, they will take it if it is easy. If it is hard, they won't touch it.
I am grateful that not a single Grimm had touched the bookshelf.
I appeared beside it a moment later and looked at it carefully. It seemed to be made of some precious wood, aside from the slight damage to the pain, the shelf was fine and the books within looked to be in perfect condition.
I just want to take the whole shelf inside my core, but that is not easy. It is formation-protected.
The formation isn't visible, but I could feel its power and I don't want to use the formation on it.
So, I tried the gentle method.
I took my palm very close to it and sensed a thick wave inside. A couple of seconds later, the wave returned and there was a smile on my face.
"It shouldn't take more than an hour," I said and immediately sat down.
In my core, I sat with the clone of the second continent and began to solve the formation. I want to solve the formation as soon as possible and take those books to the library; I hope there is at least one unique book in it.
Teachers liked it when I added the books to the library's collection. She is especially happy when the book offers something unique.
Click!
Minutes passed, and we got really close to solving the formation when suddenly, I opened my eyes and got up as I heard the click of the door.
My heart started to beat wildly, and I have activated everything while hoping, wishing, and praying that it was not the Sky Sovereign.
My wish seemed to have held true, and a Grimms came in, a Grimm with a bloodline. Grimm of High-Earth Sovereign Stage.
It looked around and disappointment appeared on its face before it focused on me. A smile appeared on its face, and it closed the door behind it, cutting any way to the case.
It had caged me.
"Well, at least I wouldn't leave hungry," said Steel Horn Rhinoman came at me with a grin on its face.
'Fuck!'
I cursed loudly in my head as my sword appeared in my hand. I had avoided these bastards until now and planned to do it, till I have gained enough strength to fight against them.
My luck had run out today.
Now, I am caged inside this place with Grimms, who had the strength to kill me, and the only way, I could get out alive is by killing it.
