Monster Integration

Chapter 3753 Disappointments

Chapter 3753 Disappointments

?'I will need to be more careful,' I thought as I walked away from the rift.

The rift is the only option to get away from this place, and people like that man are going to use it to loot and kill people.

They only need to pick up a rift and wait. Eventually, someone would come for it, and they can loot that person. It is quite common that all the information I had warned me about it.

There is nothing I can do that fights those people. If I want to check out the ruin.

I walked toward the rift-dense area, and I was not the only one who was doing that. There are many people moving in that direction. I slowed down my pace, seeing many of them being Sky Sovereigns.

I don't want to get caught by them; that would be bad. I am, after all, a Sovereign.

Hun!

Soon, my tool lit up, and it was strong. I immediately moved in its direction, avoiding the people as well as the monsters. There are also many rifts, but avoiding them isn't a challenge.

Though it would be a big mistake to consider them harmless. They could tear through anything, including the Sky Sovereign.

Hun!

Forty minutes later, I reached the rift and what I saw surprised me, before lighting my eyes.

There is a perfect triangular rift, held on by three black discs. The other side is crystal blue water; it could be a lake or the ocean; it is hard to tell.

Someone had come here and seeing how they had stretched the rift using the disc. They have left through it.

Hun!

I appeared beside it quickly took out another tool and tapped on a few buttons and soon data appeared in front of me.

Seeing that, a disappointment appeared on my face.

It is an ocean. It is what disappoints me. The thing that disappoints me; this ocean is quite close to the confinement; it is likely why the person had decided to jump through it. Unfortunately, it is not the continent I want to go to.

Hun!

I shook my head and disappeared and walked away, but I had just taken a few seconds when I sensed someone.

I wanted to hide it, but before seeing the power of the person, decided not to. I kept my stealth on the low and walked at my pace.

A few seconds later, a stone-skin woman materialized in front of me.

"Continent?" she asked, looking at the rift behind me. "Okras," I replied, and she sighed. Seeing that, I heaved a sigh of relief; one can never know with the Sky Sovereigns.

I looked at the sky. It is darkening and the energies getting denser.

Though I won't need to worry about finding the abode; at least not yet. The trees in here and spatial energies suppress the energies of the ruin.

At least till midnight.

That is when the energies become dense enough that even this place couldn't suppress them.

The Earth Sovereigns would need to stay under the protections of their abodes for at least three to four hours. Though the data could be wrong.

Things change in a thousand years.

Even if things are the same, it would be dangerous to use an abode here. The spatial energies interfere with the expanded space of the abode; its enchantments need to be very strong.

I think 90% of the abodes are useless here. The city and information advised using the normal abodes.

Their rates have shot through in the market.

Earth Sovereigns usually don't even glance at normal abodes, but in the market, there was a drought of them. People were willing to pay massive prizes for normal abodes that provide high energy protection.

Those who knew about it came prepared, but those were the minority. Most had normal abodes, but they only offered Sovereign grade protection and a few Earth Sovereign level protection.

I had hundreds of those abodes, and my close was able to modify them to increase their protection at the Sky Sovereign level.

I made a huge money selling those; I had sold them all in bulk to one person, in exchange for a really good thing.

I saw her making a huge profit from them. Seeing the woman, hadn't sold a single one till the curtain was open, before started selling them. It was a huge business risk on her part, which paid her handsomely.

If I hadn't kept a single clone out of general things and had worked on inheritance with other clones, I might have massive money.

Though I do not regret my choice; inheritance is more important than anything.

I pushed away the thoughts and moved forward.

Soon, the tool had caught another signal, and I moved toward it and reached there an hour later. It was another unstable rift; I didn't let that disappointment cloud my mind and moved forward.

Hours passed, and I continued to check, one rift after another.

Most of them would either be small or unstable; there are only three which lead to the other side. All of them showed water, two were not even closer to the continent.

I noted them down and searched for another, which is not always smooth, like the one right now.

A Sky Sovereign was hiding by the rift; it was a big rift, if what my soul waves were true, but the Sky Sovereign had stopped me in my tracks.

He is not superficially hiding, but using the full power of his stealth method. It is clear, what his intensions are, and I don't want to be caught in them.

So, despite much of the unwillingness, I turned and walked away. I don't like it, but there is no choice for me.

Hun!

A few minutes passed, and I sensed the powerful energies of the two Sky Sovereigns from that direction. I am sure the Sky Sovereign I had seen hiding is fighting.

It was a wise choice to not go there.
