Chapter 4066: Oriz Marsh

Chapter 4066: Oriz Marsh

"We had sent a group of Earth Sovereigns two weeks ago, and when we got no response from them, we sent Sky Sovereigns,"

"There was no response, even for them. Not a single one returned."

"They were experienced in these kinds of missions; they should have at least, sent one person out with the information, but nothing came out of the dome," said Prime Volsnorth.

He seemed quite worried. Which is unusual for cases like these.

The mission is to investigate a new area, being formed because of leakage of energy from the ruin or outside of the world.

Such things are quite common.

Hundreds of them happen every year in the vast territory of the Tor and most are decapitated on their own as gaps close or the world absorbs and disperses these energies.

Some remain due to them having powerful energy and consistent connections or other reasons.

When that happens, we send the teams to investigate and there is a division for that.

Some of the members specialized in such missions, but something seemed to have happened and they haven't returned yet and thus, he called me.

"I will find out what is going on," I said, and he nodded, relieved.

"Be careful; the rating from that place getting stronger," he warned.

"I will be," I said and got out of his office, while my clone read the data he had provided.

I hope it will be interesting. It will be great if I get the challenging fight there because I am not going to get out of the organization for another six months after I return.

I need to break through the limit, and I can't be distracted while doing that.

I do not have a decade to spend on it. I want to break it as soon as possible and it's why, I am practicing it like crazy. It's why I am taking this break.

The strain of practicing is too much.

I have practiced many methods throughout my life, but no method has strained me as Azure Cycles is doing.

The sheer pressure it is putting on my body is immense.

Every session takes me to the limit, which is more than enough for most people to give up, but I take that ride over and over throughout the day, many times.

I love to practice, but I too have my limits.

It's a good thing, that Prime Volsnorth had called me. If he hadn't, I would have chosen some other mission and gone out.

Soon, I reached the teleportation hall and didn't wait for even a minute before I was on the disk.

Buzz!

The disk buzzed, and I disappeared.

A few seconds later, I appeared in the forest. Right in front of the large, wet tree, against which I had barely stopped myself from crashing.

It should be afternoon; it feels like an evening.

"There is nothing to see here," I said to the group of three Sovereigns, who were looking at me in shock and fear.

I am at Oriz Marsh, quite a popular area among the Sovereigns. Filled with resources.

This area is familiar to me. I had come here once on a mission. Some cultists have been hiding here; they had given us quite a fight.

I had nearly died in there, with one self-destructing.

Soon, I was in the sky and flew toward my destination. Which isn't far; it shouldn't take me more than one and a half days to reach there.

I moved fast toward my destination, but not too fast.

Only Prime Volsnorth knows about my true strength. To the rest, I am powerful, but not at the limit, and I want to keep it as such.

If I moved with my full speed. It wouldn't take me more than an hour to reach.

I shook that impulse away. I will get plenty of time to use my full strength after I reach that place.

It's dangerous without a doubt; the team of Sky Sovereigns that went there weren't weak. Those people are veterans, having the knowledge and skills to survive in those environments longer than those stronger than them.

I hope they are still surviving.

Soon, an hour passed, and I was close. In a few minutes, I will reach there, and it seemed like, I was not the only one going there.

I am seeing many Sovereigns moving toward it. Seeing that, I couldn't help but smile.

I didn't stop them. There is no need; they are not going to be getting unless they are at Sky Sovereigns and even then, they will need to be foolhardy.

Not because it is dangerous, but because Tor had restricted the access.

Only those with permission could enter inside. Those entering without it would be punished.

Finally, I reached there and saw the dome of purple-red energy covering, covering over fifty miles of area.

This might not seem big, but it is bigger.

Strong spatial fluctuations are coming out of it. So strong that I didn't need to take out the special sensors to sense them.

I could sense it simply.

Forget me, even Sky Sovereigns could sense them and even Earth Sovereigns with strong sensory power would be able to sense them.

Seeing that, my heart couldn't help but beat excitedly.

Anything that has such spatial energies is going to be interesting. I wonder what kind of resources it would have inside.

It had been over a year since it had been here. We didn't detect it until it came out of the

surface.

It had started from the underground, not too deep, but deep enough. The energies initially were contained, that sensors on the island and sensors around the territory weren't able to

detect.

The first detection was by people three weeks ago. It is when it started growing rapidly.

It did it a few days ago, but slowing down.

This is another mystery to its working, and I would like to find out, but I would focus more on

finding people and rescuing them if they are alive.

It is the main objective of my mission.
