Chapter 4164: Against Shaman

Chapter 4164: Against Shaman

I looked at the green-haired handsome elf. He looked at me with a smile on his face.

"There were a lot of berries, you harvested it all," he said looking at me.

"I did," I replied.

"Mind sharing some with me?" he asked. "Sure. For the right price," I replied, and a surprise flashed in his eyes.

He wants to show aura activated, but there is some around me. It might be faint, but extremely heavy that will scare anyone.

"I am not in the habit of paying the price. Since you demanded it. You will give me all the berries and some more resources," he said.

The faint aura around him before heavy as a mountain in an instant and it bore down on me.

My lips quirked and my own aura came out.

"You should learn to pay the price for the things you want, Shaman," I replied, effectively throwing his aura off me while he watched in shock.

It remained there for a moment before a big smile appeared on his face.

"I am really glad I have come to this realm. I am getting challengers, I didn't get decades except for that bitch," he replied laughing.

I watched with a smile on my face but in my heart. I am extremely cautious.

It took a few seconds to calm down before a powerful aura burst out of him and he attacked me.

His attack was hard and fast. It was stronger than the last time, which had injured me seriously, but unlike the last time, this time, I had no fear of it.

Burst 70%.

I activated and swung my sword to defend against his attack.

CLANNG!

Our weapons clashed, and it was powerful. So much that it shook everything around. Though only for a fraction of a second.

As before our shockwaves could travel even a hundred meters. It got absorbed by the formation.

Leaving on faint power, for others to sense.

He looked at our locked weapons, before bringing his saber back and attacking again. I responded immediately with my sword.

CLANNG!

We clashed against, with none of us moving an inch. We looked at each other before I attacked going for his head.

He reacted fast and moved his saber gracefully. A moment later, his saber stopped my sword.

Burst 80%.

I didn't back down and instead increased my power and attacked again with my attack being much faster and more powerful than before.

Seeing my aura getting stronger. He increased his strength further.

He defended the attack, before launching one of his own.

CLANNG CLANNG CLANNG!

Our weapons kept clashing fast and hard. We didn't waste even a moment and used every opportunity we had at every weakness we saw in the other.

It is like a dance, but here the cost of failure is death.

Every move is going for the kill.

We might not be using our full power, but that could change at any moment. If we saw the chance, we wouldn't hesitate to burst out with our full power.

However, the chances of that happening are quite slim with the power we are using.

With such power, we are in control of everything. It's hard for the enemy to exploit anything as we could burst with full power to defend against anything that came at us.

It is especially hard against enemies like shamans who are powerful as well as experienced.

Most chances of killing each other will come when we are using every bit of our strength. That is when everything would be at stake, and we wouldn't be able to increase power quickly to defend against.

We are increasing the power of our attacks, but slowly.

It seemed to understand too, that I am not an easy enemy and thus isn't taking a chance.

Soon, a minute passed since we had started fighting, and three people were watching our battle. One of them is familiar, watching the battle carefully.

The second person is a weak prime that both of us would be able to kill rather easily, while the third one will hand our asses to us.

It is on her; I am focusing the most.

She is really powerful. If she decided to attack, I would have to use my all just to survive. His condition isn't much different.

It is why, after we showed each other our powerful auras, we had it back.

Now, we are just powerful limit-breaking Sky Sovereigns. Not the ones at the ultimate limit.

As I had thought that, an idea came to my mind.

I immediately filed it before focusing on the battle. He might now show his full power, but I have no doubt in my heart, that if he saw the chance, he would kill me.

In this battle, I am now allowed to get distracted even for a moment.

"You are quite good," he praised, and he wasn't talking about the strength. "You are not too bad yourself," I replied.

He is the best.

The notoriety he has isn't just because of the power he has, but also because of the skill he uses that power with.

Another minute passed and the man walked away, but those two had remained. There are two more people, one is weaker than us, while the other one is stronger.

I could feel the shaman becoming cautious. Not daring to show his real power.

He is also focused on me or rather my every word. I could feel when I was talking, he was controlling the energy. destroying the sound a few meters away.

I have no interest in yelling out his true identity.

I might have. If I had recognized the two stronger Primes and were absolutely sure, that they were not the cultists.

There is no say that they are not the cultists themselves. So, I will not take risks, especially when my life isn't in danger.

I am now powerful enough to fight against him equally. If I got the chance, then I would kill him without hesitation.

He defended against my attack, and I was ready for his, but it didn't come.

CLANNG!

Instead, I saw his saber disappearing.
