Richard became twice as strong in an instant. He was just one step away from the Lord Realm.
If he were to fight Charles again, he was confident he could defeat him with ease.
Not wanting to cause a commotion, he reined in the power that was spreading, then smiled at the White Ancestor and Lilith.
"Boy, don’t be proud just yet. If you don’t advance to the Lord Realm, all of this is meaningless," the White Ancestor said.
"I’m confident I can," Richard replied.
"Hmph, then I’ll be leaving. I know you want to make love." The crow spoke in a grumbling tone, flapped its wings, and vanished instantly into the distance.
Lilith rolled her eyes at the White Ancestor’s words.
"Sister Lilith, let’s go," Richard said.
He took the woman’s hand and pulled her onto his ark.
There was still a manifestation of the White Ancestor around, so Richard couldn’t relax and do anything, since it could still peek at them.
He flew the ark toward the sea.
Lilith looked puzzled and asked, "Why are you bringing me to the sea?"
"Isn’t our third night supposed to be more beautiful?" Richard replied casually, making Lilith roll her eyes.
"You’re still young, yet your mouth is already so slick. Is that some kind of ability inherited from your father’s blood?" Lilith said.
"Ehem..." Richard cleared his throat when he heard that.
"Sister Lilith, it seems you know quite a lot about my father," Richard said.
Of course, it was natural that she knew. Still, Richard felt as though she had interacted with him directly or something like that.
"You probably don’t know. He once tried to court the Red Star Empress as well."
"What? Really?" Richard couldn’t have been more shocked upon hearing that, his mind instantly becoming restless.
If that were the case, was it possible that the Red Star Empress had once had an affair with his father?
"Then how did it end?" Richard asked.
"There was no result. The Red Star Empress had a husband, and she upheld her dignity. But if she hadn’t been married, it might have succeeded."
Richard rolled his eyes at that.
If that man dared to flirt with the Red Star Empress again, Richard wouldn’t mind fighting him.
Of course, Richard didn’t steer the ark far into the middle of the sea. It was still a safe coastal area.
Suddenly, Lilith sat down on a chair at the edge of the ark, which had a table in front of it.
After sitting down, she took out a bottle of green wine and two cups, placing them opposite each other.
She gestured for Richard to sit across from her.
Once Richard sat down, Lilith personally poured the wine into both cups.
She didn’t forget to add a few small ice cubes.
"Drink," she said to Richard.
Richard nodded and took the cup, immediately drinking the green wine, which turned out to taste sweet, warm, yet cold because of the ice.
It was very comforting, as if it merged directly with his blood, giving him a light sensation that made him feel like dust blown by the wind—free and without worries.
Lilith drank more calmly while gazing at Richard’s face.
With the effects of the wine, it was impossible for her to feel any more embarrassment about their romance.
"Sister Lilith, am I handsome?" Richard asked in response to her gaze.
"If you weren’t handsome, I wouldn’t have married you. That’s the first requirement," Lilith replied.
"Still, I’m quite curious, to be honest."
"Curious about what?" Richard hadn’t expected there to be anything that made her curious, and certainly not about his face.
"I’m curious because, as a woman, I’ve already forgotten how many men have tried to court me. As a man, have there ever been women who courted you? I’m just curious how other women react when they see a man with a face like yours."
Richard froze slightly at her words and felt relieved that her reason was simply curiosity about other women.
"The only one who openly courted me was you, when I was still little," Richard replied with a chuckle.
"Women usually don’t flirt directly, only through indirect hints or by showing interest... Of course, I’d be lying if I said there were no other women like that toward me..."
As he said that, Lilith’s brows knit together.
Richard quickly continued, "But among all women, there truly isn’t anyone more beautiful than you, or even on par with you. You are the most beautiful by far. Even now, I’m still amazed that there’s a woman as beautiful as you."
"Am I really that beautiful?" Lilith asked in response, placing her hands on the table and resting her chin on her palms.
This practically brought her face closer to Richard.
Even though he was tipsy, Richard still felt awkward for a moment.
"Sister Lilith, I don’t think I can hold back anymore," he said.
With a flick of his finger, an object emerged from his Storage Artifact—it was a large bed.
Lilith looked surprised when the bed appeared on the deck of the ark.
This was an open place, and it was possible that someone might pass above or beside them.
"Would you go to the bed first and take off all your clothes? I’ll follow after," Lilith said.
Richard froze when he heard that.
However, with the wine taking over his thoughts, he simply nodded.
"As long as you’re happy," he said, standing up and walking toward the bed. He stopped beside it and began taking off his shirt.
But just as he was about to lower his pants, he suddenly felt a soft embrace from behind.
"I think you’re showing that you’re ready to fight the whole world for me," Lilith said.
Richard turned his head, only to find her beautiful face resting on his shoulder.
"Let’s do it together," she added, turning Richard’s body toward her.
"Allow me to help you," Richard replied.
The dress Lilith wore was not only loose but also elastic. Richard simply pulled it downward, and it fell away.
At a glance, he saw that Lilith wasn’t wearing any undergarments at all, but he couldn’t see more. Lilith suddenly embraced him and kissed his lips.
He instinctively sat down and pulled Lilith to sit on his lap.
In the end, she was the one who became naked first.
