Before arriving at the capital of the Holy Star Kingdom, the Red Star Empress chose to stop by a small town to clean herself once more and put on new clothes.
She could no longer be forced to remain naked and made Richard dress himself as well.
Even before entering the carriage, she warned Richard not to touch her again.

"Pretend that nothing happened," she said.
"Don’t worry, Your Majesty, I won’t make your life complicated," Richard replied, touching her palm, which she immediately pulled away.
"Let’s get down!" The Red Star Empress stepped out of the carriage first.
Prince Alex appeared at the doorway, looking confused because his mother had returned so quickly.
"Your Majesty, I’ll take my leave first!" Richard had no intention of following her inside and left immediately.
The Red Star Empress simply nodded and walked toward the entrance of her residence.
"Mother, you seem tired. Did you fight someone in Boundless City?" Prince Alex did not ask why she returned so soon when he saw how exhausted she looked.
The Red Star Empress seemed unsure how to answer and finally just shook her head.
After that, she went straight to her room.
She felt the need to be alone, to rest and calm her mind.
In her room, she sat down and then lay on her bed, her thoughts unable to escape all the rounds she had gone through with Richard.
She remembered how crazy she had been when desire took over her mind.
At times she sighed, wondering whether this had been the right decision.
Unfortunately, it had already happened, so regret was useless.
What made her unable to regret it was the pleasure she had felt.
A relationship without politics—even if it was purely driven by desire—was still more beautiful.
Of course, the Red Star Empress did not doubt Richard’s love for her, but for herself, these feelings were confusing.
Meanwhile, not long after Richard left the Red Star Empress’s residence, he met William Anderson, the handsome man carrying the feather fan.
"Hey Richard, it seems it’s been a long time since we last met," the man greeted.
"Has it?" Richard was slightly confused.
"I suppose you’ve been very busy," the man said. "By the way, how is your affinity with the Wind Element?"
Richard shook his head when asked about it.
"There was actually an offer through Lady Whitewater," he said.
"Oh? Is someone trying to sell something to gain affinity with the Wind Element?" William asked, becoming very interested.
"Not selling. It would be given to me. But there’s a condition." Richard sighed before telling William what Sophia Whitewater had said to him.
"Hahaha... I think this is quite good—why did you refuse?" Apparently, William burst into laughter upon hearing it.
"Don’t think I would agree to that," Richard said again.
"Alright, alright, I don’t blame your decision. Let’s just wait; maybe another offer will come from someone else," William said.
Right after he said that, both of them looked up at the sky.
Not only them, but everyone around—and perhaps everyone in the kingdom.
How could they not, when suddenly a massive tear appeared in the sky without any sound or effect?
But how could people not notice that the roof of their world had been ripped open?
From a large tear, it began spreading in all directions.
It didn’t take long before everything turned dark.
But that lasted only a moment.
A blinding light appeared, filling the entire tear and illuminating the land.
Even after becoming a Lord, Richard still felt extremely dazzled. His eyes blinked repeatedly, stinging with pain.
He forced himself to keep staring at the source of the light.
When he could finally see it faintly, he was only more shocked.
It appeared to be an ark—an enormous ark, almost as large as the tear itself—and it began to descend.
As it descended, Leonardo felt the air become extremely thick and uncomfortable to breathe.
Worse still, gravity became heavier.
Perhaps this was only temporary until the ark stopped moving, but it certainly caused great discomfort.
"The difficult days for the Holy Star Kingdom have begun. Who can drive them away?" William wondered.
Richard could not respond.
Unless somehow the founder of the Holy Star Kingdom, the Holy Star Grand Sovereign, returned, it should have been impossible to drive them away.
It looked slow, but it was actually very fast.
Before long, the ark was only about 10 kilometers above the ground and finally stopped.
When it stopped, its light went out instead, plunging the land below into darkness again, as this time the sunlight was blocked by the ark.
