My Talent's Name Is Generator

Chapter 1213: Awakening Origin

Chapter 1213: Awakening Origin

Aurora remained silent for a while after explaining the three conditions, allowing me to think about what she had said.

Six months was not a long time, especially when the second condition depended on something as uncertain as Origin Awakening. I had already reached the absolute limit of my Laws, but that did not mean I understood what existed beneath them. Reaching Level 10 had taught me everything those Laws could show me from the perspective of a Saint. The problem was that I now had to look beyond them.

"Then how does someone awaken an Origin?" I finally asked.

Aurora smiled slightly. "That is the difficult part. There is no single method that works for everyone, and there is no technique that can simply force an Origin to appear. An Origin is not something you learn. It is something you discover."

"Discover?"

"Think of it this way," she said. "When you first comprehend a Law, you are recognizing a particular rule of reality. As your understanding deepens, you begin to see that the Law is connected to other principles. Eventually, if your perception is high enough, you realize that what you originally called a Law was only one expression of something much deeper."

She paused before continuing.

"I’ll give you my own example. My current Authority is Dream, but I did not awaken the Dream Origin when I first began cultivating. In fact, Dream was not even the Law I started with."

I looked at her with interest.

"When I was young, I initially comprehended a very simple Minor Law called Illusion. At the time, I thought it was nothing special. It allowed me to influence the perception of others and create images inside their minds. Compared to the powerful Laws cultivated by many of the great clans and ancient civilizations, it seemed almost useless."

Aurora’s eyes became distant as she recalled memories from an unimaginably distant past.

"Over thousands of years, I began noticing things that I had never considered before. Illusion was not merely about creating images. It was about creating something that did not exist within another person’s perception. Then I discovered that perception itself could be altered. From there, I encountered concepts such as memory, desire, possibility, consciousness, sleep, and eventually dreams."

Her voice remained calm, but there was a strange depth behind her words.

"I didn’t abandon my original Law every time I discovered something new. I kept digging into it. Imagination became Illusion. Illusion eventually became Dream. But even then, I still hadn’t awakened the Dream Origin."

"So when did you?"

"When I finally understood that dreams were not merely things created by the mind."

I frowned slightly.

Aurora continued, "A dream can show you something that does not exist. It can show you something that could exist. It can distort your understanding of what is real. It can preserve memories, create possibilities, hide truths, and even make a person accept an entirely different reality as their own. I spent countless years studying that boundary."

She looked directly at me.

"Eventually, I realized that all of those things were merely different expressions of one deeper principle. Dream was not about sleep, imagination, or illusion. Those were only manifestations of it. The Origin beneath my Law was something much deeper, the ability of existence to accept what should not exist and temporarily treat it as real."

I remained quiet.

"That realization was the moment my Origin awakened."

"So Origin Awakening is basically understanding the deeper principle behind a Law."

"Yes, but don’t make it sound easy."

Aurora gave me a faint smile.

"Understanding is only one part of it. You need an extraordinary foundation, tremendous perception, countless experiences, and sometimes an opportunity that may never appear again in your entire life. Some people spend millions of years cultivating the same Law without ever finding the Origin hidden beneath it."

I nodded slowly.

"And some people encounter a single opportunity that changes everything."

"Exactly."

She turned toward the endless Void.

"There is another reason I believe you still have a chance within six months. The Prime Universe has a place that can help you."

I looked at her.

"What place?"

"A secret dimension."

The words immediately caught my attention.

"Where is it?"

Aurora smiled.

"Hidden."

She laughed softly before finally explaining.

"The dimension is known only to the Demi-Gods and a handful of ancient beings who were given access to it. It has no conventional location within the Prime Universe. You cannot reach it by ordinary spatial travel, and even someone capable of traversing the entire universe could search for eternity without finding its entrance."

"Then how do you enter?"

"A Demi-God has to open the way."

I stared at her for a moment.

"You can take me there?"

"Yes."

I became even more curious.

"What is inside?"

Aurora’s expression became strangely serious.

"It is called the Origin Expanse."

The name itself was simple, but something about the way she said it made me pay closer attention.

"The Origin Expanse is not a world," she continued. "There are no planets, stars, galaxies, oceans, mountains, or anything else that you would normally associate with a dimension. There isn’t even ordinary space."

"Then what is there?"

"Connections."

I frowned.

Aurora raised one hand, and a small point of light appeared between her fingers.

"Imagine looking at the universe and removing everything except the relationships between things. Remove the stars, planets, creatures, energy, matter, and even time. What remains are the invisible principles connecting one existence to another."

The small light split into dozens of thin threads.

"The Origin Expanse is made from those connections."

She moved her fingers slightly, and the threads twisted around one another.

"When you enter, you don’t see Laws as energy. You don’t see fire, wind, blood, space, time, destruction, or any of the other things you normally associate with Laws. Instead, you see countless relationships constantly forming, breaking, overlapping, and transforming."

I stared at the threads.

Aurora continued.

"One existence pulls another toward itself. A movement causes another movement. An action creates a consequence. Something disappears, and the absence it leaves behind influences something else. A thought changes a decision. A decision changes a future. A boundary separates two things, while another relationship allows them to merge."

The threads began intersecting.

"And every relationship is different."
