Chapter 1214: Integration
Chapter 1214: Integration
Some were thin enough to be almost invisible. Others were enormous structures spanning distances that seemed impossible to comprehend. Some appeared to have no beginning or end. Others repeatedly formed and collapsed in cycles. There were relationships that connected things separated by impossible distances, while others seemed to connect the same existence to versions of itself that had never existed.
"It is not static," Aurora said. "The entire dimension is constantly rearranging itself. Every moment, countless relationships are born, evolve, weaken, disappear, and reappear in different forms."
I looked at her.
"So the Laws are hidden within those relationships?"
"Not hidden."
She shook her head.
"They are the relationships."
That answer made me pause.
Aurora continued, "When you enter the Origin Expanse, your perception will naturally begin interacting with the principles associated with your Laws. If you cultivate Spacetime, you may see relationships involving position, distance, sequence, continuity, and change. If you cultivate Blood, you may encounter relationships involving lineage, identity, vitality, inheritance, and connection. If you cultivate Consumption, you may see relationships involving transfer, absorption, replacement, and the disappearance of one existence into another."
"And if I have several Laws?"
"Then you will see several networks overlapping."
I immediately understood why the place could be useful to me. My seven Laws were not isolated.
They had always interacted.
Tempest and Elemental Convergence.
Blood and Consumption.
Bounded Reality and Spacetime.
Harmony connecting all of them.
Perhaps the reason I had been able to cultivate so many Laws together was because, somewhere beneath them, there was already a connection I had not recognized.
Aurora looked at me.
"The important thing is that you cannot simply sit there and absorb an Origin. The Origin Expanse will not hand you an answer. It only allows you to perceive reality from a perspective that ordinary Saints cannot reach."
"So I still have to understand it myself."
"Exactly."
She lowered her hand, and the threads of light disappeared.
"There is another danger. The deeper you look, the easier it becomes to lose yourself in what you are seeing. The Origin Expanse contains the foundations of countless Laws. If your perception is insufficient, you can become overwhelmed by conflicting principles and lose your own understanding."
"Have people died there?"
"Yes."
Her answer came without hesitation.
"Some became lost. Some had their foundations shattered. Some understood something they were not yet capable of carrying and destroyed their own existence."
I narrowed my eyes.
"And you want me to enter this place."
"I want you to have a chance."
She smiled faintly.
"Six months is not enough for you to spend thousands of years slowly discovering your Origin through ordinary cultivation. If you want to become a Demi-God before the Council meeting, the Origin Expanse is your best opportunity."
I looked toward the endless Void again. The thought no longer felt quite as impossible.
I had already reached the absolute limit of the Saint realm. My Laws were complete, my Soul Force had begun its transformation, and my Soul Sphere had undergone a qualitative change that I still did not fully understand.
Now I had a place where I could directly observe the deeper principles behind those Laws.
"What happens if I find my Origin there?"
Aurora’s expression became slightly more serious.
"Then you will have fulfilled the second condition."
"And after that?"
"You will need to create your Divine Core."
I nodded.
One step at a time.
Aurora looked at me for another moment before adding, "But Billion, don’t enter the Origin Expanse thinking that you need to awaken an Origin from one particular Law."
I turned toward her.
"What do you mean?"
"Your Laws are unusual."
She smiled.
"You have seven of them, and none of them are ordinary. Perhaps you will discover that one of them contains the Origin you need. Perhaps you will discover that several of them are connected. Or perhaps you will find something that you were never looking for."
Her eyes seemed to linger on me for a moment longer.
"Sometimes the greatest Origin Awakening happens when a cultivator stops searching for the answer they expected to find."
I didn’t respond immediately. Instead, I looked inward toward my Soul Sphere. Perhaps the answer had been inside me all along. I simply had not yet reached the level where I could see it.
Aurora was silent for a moment before continuing.
"Once you awaken your Origin, understanding it is only the beginning. You will know what it is, but that does not mean it belongs to you yet."
I frowned slightly. "Then what comes next?"
"Your Origin must be integrated into your Divine Core first. Your Soul, Soul Force, Domain, and Origin must stop existing as separate foundations. They have to become one." She looked at me. "But even that is not enough."
"Why?"
"Because an Origin can exist within your Divine Core without becoming part of your existence."
I remained silent, waiting.
Aurora continued, "True integration happens when your existence and the Origin become inseparable. Your Soul must carry it. Your will must resonate with it. Your very existence must begin expressing it naturally. You should no longer need to consciously reach for your Origin to use it."
She raised one hand, and for an instant, the space around us seemed to bend beneath an invisible influence.
"Think of it this way. Right now, you are a cultivator who understands the Law. After awakening the Origin, you become someone who understands what lies beneath that Law. But after integration..."
Her eyes became slightly more serious.
"...the universe begins to recognize that Origin as belonging to you."
I narrowed my eyes.
"Belonging to me?"
"Yes." Aurora nodded. "Not ownership in the ordinary sense. It means reality itself begins acknowledging a connection between that Origin and your existence. Your existence becomes one of the fundamental expressions through which that Origin can manifest."
I thought about her words carefully.
"So the Origin isn’t just something I possess."
"Correct. It becomes something that exists through you."
That distinction was subtle, but I understood why it mattered.
Aurora continued, "That is the foundation of Authority. When your Origin, your existence, and your will become completely aligned, you are no longer merely understanding a principle of reality. You become an existence that reality itself recognizes as connected to that principle."
She lowered her hand.
"And once that recognition is complete, your will can begin imposing that Origin upon reality."
I stared at her for several seconds.
"So that is when Authority is born."
Aurora smiled faintly.
"Exactly."
