My Talent's Name Is Generator

Chapter 1237: The Plan

Chapter 1237: The Plan

Amun looked at me for a moment before answering.

"Sovereign Order."

That was all he said.

I nodded, accepting the answer without asking anything further. It was a fitting title for him, especially considering the way he had always handled situations around me. There was something strangely appropriate about the man who could calmly walk into chaos and somehow arrange everything into something manageable being known as the Sovereign Order.

Amun then raised his hand, and the space beside Aurora immediately distorted. A chair formed from nothing, solidifying beside her before settling neatly into place.

"Take a seat."

I walked over and sat down beside Aurora.

With me joining the table, there were now ten people gathered around it, all of them Demi-Gods.

Amun waited until I had settled before continuing.

"Now, let’s talk about how you should be involved in the war."

The Dragon Sovereign was the first to speak.

"I have been thinking about that since you arrived," he said, his gaze settling on me. "Rather than sending Sovereign Origin directly to the main battlefield, I think we should use him somewhere else."

Amun nodded.

"Go on."

"The Prime Galaxy has been dealing with Eternal incursions for a long time. We have rifts opening across different regions, enemy forces appearing behind our defensive lines, and several areas that require a Demi-God to keep them under control. If Sovereign Origin stays here, he can focus on clearing our backyard while we increase the pressure on the Eternals at the front."

He paused briefly before continuing.

"It would give us two advantages. First, we would have someone powerful enough to deal with the Eternals entering our territory before they can establish themselves. Second, the rest of us could concentrate our strength on the main battlefield instead of constantly dividing our forces to deal with problems behind the front."

Amun leaned back slightly.

"That sounds like a reasonable plan."

The Dragon Sovereign nodded.

"That was my thought as well. He is newly ascended, so throwing him directly into a battle involving Middle and High Demi-Gods would be unnecessary. Let him become familiar with his strength while dealing with targets that we know he can handle. At the same time, we can make better use of the experience of those already fighting on the front."

Before Amun could respond, the Sovereign Eternal Time spoke.

"I don’t think we should do that."

The Dragon Sovereign turned toward him.

"Why not?"

"Because the situation behind our lines is not as simple as you are making it sound," Eternal Time replied calmly. "The Eternals have already realized that our defensive network has become stretched. If Billion remains in Prime Galaxy, they will eventually notice that we have placed a new Demi-God here."

"That is exactly why we should put him here," the Dragon Sovereign said.

"No," Eternal Time replied. "It is exactly why we should not make his purpose so obvious."

The Dragon Sovereign’s eyes narrowed.

"Explain."

"If we suddenly send a newly ascended Demi-God throughout Prime Galaxy to close every rift and eliminate every Eternal force that enters our territory, the Eternals will immediately understand what we are doing. They will stop sending weaker forces into those regions and instead begin using stronger ones specifically to test him. We could end up revealing his abilities before we even understand the full extent of his Authority."

The Dragon Sovereign considered that for a moment before responding.

"That assumes they can force him into a fight."

"They don’t need to defeat him," Eternal Time said. "They only need to learn what he can do."

The Dragon Sovereign shook his head.

"Then we keep him away from unnecessary battles and give him specific targets. We don’t have to expose everything about him. Besides, if we continue allowing the rifts to remain open, we are giving the Eternals exactly what they want. Every rift they establish becomes another point from which they can attack our territory."

"And every time Billion closes one," Eternal Time replied, "we reveal more of his abilities."

"We are already at war," the Dragon Sovereign said. "We cannot hide every new weapon simply because the enemy might learn about it."

"This is not about hiding him," Eternal Time answered. "It is about timing."

The Dragon Sovereign leaned forward slightly.

"And what exactly do you suggest? Keep him here and do nothing?"

"I suggest that we take him directly to the frontlines and attack the Eternals to cause maximum damage as soon as possible."

"That sounds suspiciously similar to what I suggested."

"Not exactly."

The two continued exchanging arguments, each presenting reasonable points. The Dragon Sovereign believed that my strength could immediately relieve pressure across Prime Galaxy and allow the others to focus their power on the main front. Eternal Time, meanwhile, was more concerned about exposing my abilities too quickly and giving the Eternals an opportunity to prepare specifically for me.

I listened without interrupting.

Neither argument was unreasonable.

Eventually, Amun raised his hand.

"That is enough."

The two Sovereigns stopped.

Amun looked toward the Dragon Sovereign first.

"I agree that Billion should contribute to the war rather than simply remain here and stabilize his realm. We cannot afford to waste another Demi-God when the Eternals are already pressing us from multiple directions."

He then looked toward Eternal Time.

"But I also agree that we shouldn’t throw him around the battlefield without understanding what he can actually do."

Amun’s gaze shifted toward me.

"So there is another option."

Everyone around the table became quiet.

"Billion stays in Prime Galaxy," Amun said. "He will deal with the Eternal forces that enter our territory, close the rifts they establish, and eliminate their footholds before they can grow into larger problems. At the same time, we will not send him directly into the main battlefield."

He paused.

"If the Eternals begin increasing the pressure on the frontline, however, and the situation becomes serious enough that we need another Demi-God there, then Billion will be brought into the battle."

Amun looked directly at me.

"That way, we gain the benefit of his presence without immediately exposing everything he can do."

He rested his hands on the table.

"But ultimately, this concerns you, Billion. You are the one who will be fighting. What do you think?"

The entire table turned toward me.

I remained silent for a moment, considering his proposal.

Staying in Prime Galaxy would mean I would not immediately be thrown into the most dangerous battlefield, but it would also give me plenty of opportunities to fight. Closing rifts, hunting Eternal forces, and defending the galaxy would allow me to understand my new strength while still contributing to the war.

And if things became worse on the frontline, I could always be summoned there.

I leaned back slightly in my chair.

"It sounds reasonable to me."
