My Talent's Name Is Generator

Chapter 1241: Closing Rifts

Chapter 1241: Closing Rifts

One of the Peak Saints roared and unleashed everything he had, and his Law erupted across the void with enough force to shatter the remaining fragments of the two planets. Around him, millions of Eternal soldiers were still fighting, their armies spread across the battlefield in an endless tide of Phantoms, Abominations, and other powerful beings. The moment I tightened my control over Space, however, the entire battlefield began collapsing inward.

The space surrounding the Eternal army compressed from every direction, trapping millions of soldiers within an invisible spatial prison. The weaker Phantoms and Abominations were crushed almost immediately, their bodies bursting apart under the pressure before their remains were compressed into nothingness.

Others tried to flee, but every direction they moved toward was already under my control, and the space around them continued tightening until their bodies could no longer withstand it.

The stronger creatures fought back desperately. Thousands of Abominations released their abilities at once, while countless Phantoms screamed and tried to escape the collapsing region.

Their attacks filled the void with chaotic waves of energy, but the moment those attacks appeared, I compressed the surrounding space even further. The enormous battlefield trembled as millions of enemies were crushed simultaneously, their bodies breaking apart and disappearing beneath the overwhelming pressure of Space.

The Eternal Saints were the last to resist.

One of the Peak Saints roared as he poured everything he possessed into his Law, attempting to break through my control. I simply increased the compression around him.

His body began to distort.

His bones shattered, his armor collapsed against his body, and his entire existence was squeezed inward until even his final resistance disappeared. The other Peak Saints suffered the same fate, followed by the remaining Eternal Saints who had been fighting across the battlefield.

Within moments, the enormous army that had filled the void was gone.

Millions of soldiers had disappeared, leaving behind only the shattered remains of the two planets and a battlefield that had suddenly become unnaturally quiet.

I lowered my hand and turned toward the rift.

It was still there.

The enormous Grade Two rift continued twisting between the remains of the two destroyed planets, constantly pouring energy into the surrounding void. I extended my palm toward it and grasped the space surrounding the enormous wound.

The effect was immediate. The rift began shrinking.

Its massive opening compressed from every direction, its edges folding inward as the space supporting it was continuously squeezed tighter and tighter. The enormous wound in reality rapidly became smaller until it was barely the size of a fist.

I slowly closed my fingers.

The remaining space collapsed completely.

The rift vanished.

I looked across the silent battlefield, taking in the destruction that had replaced what had been a massive war only moments ago. Another Grade Two rift had been erased, and millions of Eternal forces had been wiped out along with it.

A faint smile appeared on my face.

"At this rate, clearing the eastern sector really won’t take long."

*******

After closing the second Grade Two rift, I did not waste any more time. I immediately began moving through the eastern sector, heading from one battlefield to the next and dealing with each rift as I encountered it. The process became almost routine.

I would arrive at a battlefield, spread my perception across the entire region to make sure there were no hidden Eternal forces, and then use my newly gained strength to wipe out the enemies before closing the rift. The battles themselves barely took any time anymore. The real delay came from traveling between the different rifts, even with my current speed.

Over the next three to four hours, I cleared every remaining Grade Two rift in the eastern sector.

The armies that had been fighting there were finally given a chance to regroup, while the Saints who had been tied down defending the rifts were released from their positions.

For countless years, these battlefields had consumed enormous amounts of manpower and resources, with entire star systems sometimes being sacrificed simply to prevent the Eternals from pushing deeper into Prime Galaxy. Yet within only a few hours, I had erased every Grade Two rift in the entire eastern sector.

I did not stop there.

Once the eastern sector was cleared, I immediately changed direction and headed toward the western sector. There were seven Grade Two rifts there, and the situation was almost identical. Each battlefield had become a massive war zone filled with Saints, Phantoms, Abominations, and Eternal forces fighting over control of the rifts.

I moved through them one after another.

By the time I reached the fifth rift, I had already destroyed every Eternal force in the region and closed the rift itself. Five of the seven Grade Two rifts in the western sector were now gone, leaving only two.

I was already moving toward the sixth.

The journey between battlefields was taking considerably longer than the battles themselves. Once I arrived at a rift, everything usually ended within minutes, but traveling across the enormous distances separating the different regions of Prime Galaxy still required time, even for me.

I was crossing the void at high speed when the System notifications suddenly appeared before me.

[Warning.]

[Priority Communication Received.]

[Source: Amun.]

I slowed slightly as I read the notification. Something had happened.

The next line appeared.

[Frontline Breach Detected.]

My expression immediately became serious.

I opened the notification.

Amun’s message appeared before me.

[Four new Eternal Demi-Gods have launched a sudden offensive against the Prime Universe frontline.]

I stopped completely.

Four Demi-Gods?

My eyes narrowed as I continued reading.

[The sudden offensive is believed to be connected to the rapid destruction of Grade Two rifts across Prime Galaxy.]

That made sense.

I had been clearing the rifts far faster than the Eternals could have expected. Their forces were disappearing throughout Prime Galaxy, and if they had realized that someone was systematically destroying their footholds, they would naturally try to force the Prime Universe to divert its strongest forces.

But the next information was far more serious.

[One Eternal Demi-God has successfully breached the frontline.]

My expression became colder.

[The Demi-God is currently moving at extreme speed toward the eastern sectors of Prime Galaxy.]

I immediately understood the situation.

The Eternals had created an opening in the frontline and one of their Demi-Gods had slipped through. The other Prime Universe Demi-Gods were already occupied trying to prevent additional breakthroughs, leaving no one available to intercept the one who had escaped.

Then another line appeared.

[All available Prime Universe Demi-Gods are currently engaged in preventing further breaches.]

[Intercept the escaped Eternal Demi-God before they cause too much destruction.]

I stared at the final notification for several seconds.

So that was their response.

I had been clearing their Grade Two rifts too quickly, and instead of continuing to fight me through Saints and lower-level forces, they had decided to send a Demi-God directly into Prime Galaxy.

My original plan had been to clear the remaining rifts. Now, that plan had changed.

I turned toward the direction of the eastern sector.

A Demi-God was already moving through Prime Galaxy at incredible speed, and judging by the direction, our paths would eventually cross.

I took a deep breath.

"Looks like things are getting interesting."

I accelerated.

Space around me distorted as I pushed my speed to its limit, leaving the sixth Grade Two rift behind as I headed toward the approaching Eternal Demi-God.
