My Talent's Name Is Generator

Chapter 1240: Compress

Chapter 1240: Compress

I remained suspended in the void for a while, looking at the battlefield I had just cleared. The feeling was strange. I had expected my first battle as a Demi-God to be difficult, perhaps even dangerous, but the reality was completely different.

The three Peak Saints who had been fighting the Naga commander had been unable to resist my Authority at all, and the rest of the Eternal forces had disappeared even faster. Even the rift, which had required an entire army of Saints to contain, had been closed with almost no effort on my part.

I slowly clenched and opened my hand, thinking about what had just happened.

"If I can do this every time..."

A faint smile appeared on my face.

Then I looked toward the empty space where the rift had been.

"I can clear these rifts much faster than they expected."

That was probably the most useful thing I could do right now. The Prime Galaxy was filled with rifts, and every one of them required enormous numbers of Saints to maintain a defensive line.

If I could simply arrive, eliminate the Eternal forces, and close the rift myself, I could free those Saints and move on to the next battlefield. Instead of spending months or years fighting over individual regions, I could potentially clear the entire eastern sector in a fraction of that time.

While I was considering this, the enormous serpent that had been fighting the three Peak Saints began to change.

Its massive body rapidly contracted, scales disappearing beneath its skin as its form transformed. Within moments, the gigantic serpent had become a humanoid figure.

He was a Naga, but his appearance was surprisingly close to that of a middle-aged human man. He had dark hair, a weathered face, and only a few patches of scales remained visible along his neck, arms, and the sides of his face. If not for those scales and the faint golden hue covering his skin, he could easily have been mistaken for an ordinary human.

The moment his transformation was complete, he flew toward me.

He stopped a short distance away and immediately bowed.

"My Lord, you are...?"

There was hesitation in his voice, as if he wasn’t certain how he should address me.

"You can call me Sovereign Origin," I replied.

His expression changed slightly when he heard the title, but he quickly bowed again.

"Yes, Sovereign Origin."

I glanced toward the battlefield.

"You can finish the cleanup here. I want to know about the other rifts in this region."

The Naga commander immediately understood what I meant.

"There are nine Grade Two rifts in the eastern sector."

I nodded.

"And I just closed one of them."

"Yes, Sovereign Origin. That leaves eight."

"Good."

I looked in the direction of the next rift.

"Tell the others to reorganize once this battlefield is secured. I will deal with the remaining rifts."

The Naga commander looked at me in surprise.

"You intend to handle them alone?"

I smiled slightly.

"That is the plan."

Before he could say anything else, I disappeared.

Space folded around me.

The distance between myself and the next battlefield ceased to exist, and I stepped directly through the void.

Grade Two rifts were not ordinary battlefields.

These were the zones where Saints fought. Where ordinary strategies stopped working and entire Law frameworks were bent or sacrificed simply to hold the line. Losses here were not counted in numbers, but in star systems. Engagements at this level were rare and catastrophic.

And the next battlefield proved exactly that.

The moment I arrived, I saw two shattered planets drifting through the void.

One had been split completely in half, its enormous pieces slowly rotating around each other while rivers of molten material poured into space. The other had suffered even greater destruction. Only a broken core remained, surrounded by countless fragments of land and atmosphere that had been scattered across the battlefield.

Between the remains of the two planets, hundreds of Saints were fighting.

The battlefield was chaotic.

Massive dragons clashed with Eternal Saints among the ruins of the planets, while enormous Law manifestations continuously collided in the void. Broken spatial barriers appeared and disappeared across the battlefield, and the shockwaves from the fighting continued spreading outward.

At the center of the battle was another commander.

This time, it was a Dragon.

His enormous body was covered in dark blue scales, and his wings stretched across a vast region of space. He was fighting several Peak Saints at once, while below him, countless Prime Universe Saints struggled to prevent the Eternal forces from reaching the rift.

The rift itself was enormous.

It floated between the two destroyed planets like a gigantic wound in reality, its edges constantly twisting as streams of Essence poured through it.

Then I arrived.

I did not immediately attack. I simply stepped out of the void.

The change was instant.

Several Saints noticed me first. Then the Dragon commander stopped fighting.

His enormous golden eyes turned toward me. The Eternal Saints followed his gaze.

For a moment, the entire battlefield seemed confused.

Then my aura spread. The reaction was almost identical to the previous battlefield.

The fighting stopped.

The enormous Dragon commander stared at me in disbelief before rapidly transforming into his humanoid form. He landed among the battlefield ruins and looked toward me with an expression of shock.

"Sovereign..."

I ignored the surprised voices around me and turned my attention toward the battlefield. The situation here was far more chaotic than the previous one. The remains of two shattered planets floated through the void, their broken continents and molten cores scattered among the countless battles taking place between them.

Thousands of Saints were fighting across the ruins, while Phantoms and Abominations moved through the battlefield alongside the Eternal forces, attacking anything that stood in their way. At the center of it all, the Dragon commander was still engaged in battle with several Peak Saints.

There was no reason to let the battle continue.

I raised my hand, and the Origin of Space immediately responded to my will.

The entire battlefield suddenly trembled.

Space began compressing.

It started around the Eternal forces, spreading across the battlefield until every Eternal Saint, Phantom, and Abomination was trapped within the range of my control. Their movements slowed as the space surrounding their bodies became increasingly compressed.

Some of the stronger Saints immediately realized what was happening and attempted to release their Laws, but the moment their power emerged, the surrounding space compressed even further and swallowed their resistance.

I continued increasing the pressure.

The bodies of the weaker Phantoms and Abominations began to collapse first, their forms crushed under the immense spatial pressure before exploding into fragments of dark energy. The Eternal Saints resisted much longer, but their bodies soon began to distort as the space around them tightened like an invisible cage.
