My Talent's Name Is Generator

Chapter 1248: Against Darkness

Chapter 1248: Against Darkness

Darkness narrowed his eyes.

"If the strong are the ones who decide what is right and wrong," I continued, "then I guess I will have to beat you badly enough to make sure you can still tell the difference."

The moment my final word fell, I took a step forward.

My Divine Core trembled.

The transformed Deep golden Soul Force surged through my body.

It poured from my existence in enormous waves, wrapping around my limbs and shoulders before bursting outward in brilliant flames. The surrounding void distorted beneath the pressure, and the Fire Origin within me began resonating violently.

A miniature star slowly formed above my palm.

It was no larger than my fist, yet the moment it appeared, the surrounding Space began to tremble. Fire Laws compressed inside the tiny sphere, forming a miniature sun that radiated terrifying destructive power.

Then another star appeared beside it.

The two miniature stars floated in front of me, revolving around each other in a strange celestial dance. Their rotations gradually accelerated as Fire Origin and Space Origin intertwined, causing the surrounding void to distort more violently with every passing moment.

Darkness watched them carefully.

"I will admit," he said, his voice losing some of its amusement, "that you are strong."

His hand tightened around the sword of pure darkness.

"But you are still not strong enough to defeat me."

The sword in his grasp suddenly vibrated.

Darkness erupted from its surface.

The surrounding void dimmed as countless strands of black energy converged along the invisible blade, causing its outline to become sharper and more substantial than before. He shifted his stance and drew the sword backward, gathering an enormous amount of Darkness Origin into the weapon.

Then he slashed horizontally.

A gigantic wave of darkness erupted from the blade.

It tore across the void like an endless black tide, swallowing everything in its path as it raced toward me. Space cracked beneath its pressure, and even the surrounding darkness seemed to become part of the attack.

At almost the exact same moment, the two miniature stars reached the end of their rotation. Their orbits tightened.

The distance between them disappeared.

Then they collided.

BOOOOOOM!

The two stars merged for a fraction of a second before releasing an enormous shockwave.

Fire erupted outward in every direction, mixed with violent spatial fluctuations that twisted and shattered the surrounding void. The resulting wave tore forward like a blazing celestial storm, carrying the compressed power of both Fire and Space directly toward the approaching wave of Darkness.

The two attacks raced toward each other through the void.

Blackness and golden fire.

Neither side gave way.

And in the next instant, they collided.

BOOM!

For an instant, neither side moved.

The miniature stars I had created erupted with terrifying heat, their Fire Origin spreading through the incoming wave of Darkness and attempting to burn through it layer by layer. At the same time, the Darkness behaved like a living abyss, constantly eroding the flames wherever they touched, swallowing the Fire Laws and corroding their structure before they could spread any farther.

Fire and Darkness tore into each other.

Golden flames surged forward, only to be devoured by waves of black energy. The darkness would be burned apart, but more darkness immediately replaced it, continuously pouring from the invisible sword in Sovereign Abyssal Darkness’s hand.

I watched the collision carefully. Then I realized something was wrong.

His Darkness Origin was far stronger than I had initially estimated.

The density of his Origin continued rising as the two forces struggled against each other, and the more I observed it, the clearer the truth became.

His resonance had already reached the very edge of twenty-four percent.

He was only a step away from becoming a Middle Demi-God.

My Fire Origin was powerful, but at twenty percent, it could not overpower an Origin that had already approached the next threshold.

The realization came just before the balance broke.

The black wave suddenly surged forward.

My miniature stars were pushed backward, their flames being consumed faster than they could regenerate. The remaining Fire was gradually overwhelmed, and the entire attack was blasted apart beneath the pressure of Darkness.

The weakened wave continued toward me.

I didn’t retreat.

Instead, I clenched my fist and stepped forward.

My arm pulled backward for an instant before I punched straight into the approaching Darkness.

BOOM!

A tremendous shockwave erupted from my fist.

The weakened Darkness wave was torn apart on impact, black energy scattering in every direction as the force of my punch continued forward and dispersed the remaining attack completely.

Sovereign Abyssal Darkness chuckled.

"It won’t take much to deal with you."

His confidence had returned.

He raised the sword of pure Darkness above his head, and the surrounding void immediately began to darken. Countless strands of black energy gathered around the invisible blade, twisting together until even the outline of the sword became difficult to distinguish from the darkness itself.

Then he brought it down.

"Rising Abyssal Flame."

The sword descended.

A line of dark flame erupted from the blade and raced toward me.

It looked like a gigantic blazing scar cutting through the void, but unlike ordinary fire, these flames were completely black. They carried the destructive nature of Darkness Origin, devouring everything they touched as they rushed toward me.

I couldn’t help but chuckle.

"Deal with me?"

I slowly raised one hand.

"The only one getting dealt with will be you."

My palm opened toward the incoming attack.

Space Origin resonated.

The moment the power of Space surged through me, the void directly in front of my palm began to ripple violently. The surrounding Space twisted inward, folding over itself again and again until a gigantic vortex appeared.

Unlike ordinary spatial distortions, this vortex radiated a deep golden light.

It rotated slowly at first, but with every revolution, the fluctuations became more terrifying. Layers of Space folded into one another inside it, creating an enormous spatial vortex that seemed to lead somewhere beyond the boundaries of the battlefield.

Sovereign Abyssal Darkness’s expression changed.

His eyes widened beneath the hood.

"Space Origin..."

There was genuine shock in his voice.

He had clearly not expected it.

The black flames arrived.

The golden spatial vortex surged forward.

And the two attacks collided.

BOOOOOOM!

Dark flames crashed into the golden vortex, while Space Origin twisted violently against the destructive force of Darkness. The collision sent enormous waves of energy across the void, causing the surrounding Space to ripple and crack as the two Origins fought for dominance.
