My Talent's Name Is Generator

Chapter 1249: Killed

Chapter 1249: Killed

The collision between the golden spatial vortex and the black flames continued for several breaths, the two Origins grinding against each other with enough force to make the surrounding void tremble violently.

The Rising Abyssal Flame tried to force its way through the vortex, its dark fire constantly devouring the layers of Space before it, but every layer it destroyed was immediately replaced by another. My Space Origin continued to resonate, folding one layer after another around the attack until the dark flames were gradually stripped of their momentum.

The vortex tightened.

The golden light intensified.

Slowly, the black flames began shrinking beneath the crushing pressure of Space. What had started as a gigantic wave of Darkness was reduced to a narrower and narrower stream until only scattered wisps remained. Even those final remnants were pulled into the vortex and ground apart by the endless layers of compressed Space. Within a few moments, the entire attack disappeared, leaving nothing behind except faint spatial ripples slowly fading into the void.

I lowered my hand and looked directly at Sovereign Abyssal Darkness.

"Now it’s my turn to attack."

His expression had become grim.

"You have..." He paused, his eyes fixed on me as though he were trying to comprehend what he had just witnessed. "You have both Fire Origin and Space Origin."

There was genuine surprise in his voice, but it quickly turned into something colder.

"I am very surprised. Very surprised indeed. It gives me one more reason to make absolutely certain that you die here."

I couldn’t help but chuckle.

"If that’s what you believe, then let’s see how long you can keep believing it."

Darkness’s sword was still in his hand, its blade nothing more than a constantly fluctuating outline of pure darkness. I looked at it for a moment before slowly extending my hand.

Space Origin gathered around my palm, compressing and twisting until a sword began to take shape within my grasp. Unlike his weapon, mine was not made from Darkness. It was formed from Space itself, a strange translucent blade surrounded by countless golden spatial cracks that continuously appeared and disappeared along its surface.

I tightened my grip and raised the sword above my head. The moment I did, the surrounding Space began trembling.

I poured my entire comprehension of Space into the blade.

Twenty-four percent.

Every bit of it.

The sword seemed to become heavier as the Origin gathered within it, and the void around me began cracking beneath the pressure. I looked at Darkness one last time before bringing the sword down.

A gigantic spatial cleave erupted from the blade.

It was not simply an arc of energy. The very void itself was torn apart along its path, creating a massive fracture that raced toward Sovereign Abyssal Darkness. Everything caught within its trajectory was divided as Space itself was forced to obey the edge of my sword.

Darkness immediately shifted his stance.

He stepped one leg backward while planting the other firmly in front of him, lowering his center of gravity as his upper body leaned slightly forward. His sword was brought across his body at an angle, ready to intercept the incoming cleave, while Darkness Origin surged around him in dense waves.

His eyes remained fixed on the approaching spatial slash. Then his sword began vibrating.

He was preparing the same technique again.

"Rising Abyssal Flame!"

The instant he began the motion, I grinned.

Time Origin resonated within me.

A ripple passed through my body.

Then it expanded.

The invisible wave swept across the battlefield and engulfed Sovereign Abyssal Darkness before he could complete his attack.

His body suddenly became sluggish. His eyes widened. He understood what had happened almost immediately.

I had not simply slowed him down. I had pushed his present toward the past while pulling my attack toward the future.

The spatial cleave that should have taken several moments to reach him was dragged forward through time, bringing its future position closer to the present. At the same time, Darkness’s movements were forced backward along his own timeline, making every action he attempted take far longer to complete.

From his perspective, everything had suddenly become impossibly slow.

From mine, the attack was moving four times faster.

A look of shock and horror appeared across his face.

He desperately tried to force his body forward, but the temporal restriction resisted him. His sword was still halfway through its movement when the spatial cleave had already crossed most of the distance between us.

He had no choice.

His entire body erupted with Soul Force.

Deep golden radiance exploded from him as he released everything he could, forcibly breaking against the temporal restriction. The enormous burst of Soul Force allowed him to accelerate just enough to complete his attack, but the technique was rushed and incomplete.

The sword finally came down.

"Rising Abyssal Flame!"

A torrent of dark fire erupted from the blade, but it was far smaller and weaker than the attack he had released moments earlier.

The two attacks collided.

For several seconds, the battlefield shook.

My spatial sword cleave tore into the dark flames, cutting through them layer after layer. Darkness tried to reinforce the attack, pouring more Origin and Soul Force into it, but the temporal acceleration had already placed my attack at an overwhelming advantage.

The spatial cleave continued forward, tearing through the remaining dark flames and slicing the Darkness Origin apart as it scattered into the void. Darkness’s eyes widened as he finally understood what was coming, but by then, there was no time left to dodge.

The spatial cleave reached him, and the blade of Space passed directly through his body. For a brief moment, nothing happened, before a thin spatial line appeared across his torso and blood erupted. His body was cleanly divided in two.

The two half separated as the remaining force of the spatial cleave continued behind him, tearing through the void for countless kilometers before finally dissipating.

Sovereign Abyssal Darkness’s eyes remained wide with disbelief.

He had been unable to react.

Not because he lacked strength, but because I had changed the flow of time itself, bringing my attack to him before he could finish his own.

His two halves drifted apart in the void, surrounded by fading traces of golden spatial energy.
