Mystic Eyes: My Eyes Steal the Laws of Cultivation

Chapter 550: Peak of the Qi Accumulation Realm

Chapter 550: Peak of the Qi Accumulation Realm

The speculation began immediately, spreading through the crowd like fire through dry straw.

Groups gathered, debated, and formed theories. Yet no one imagined that all the commotion originated from nothing more than an ordinary-looking courtyard occupied by a young man with violet eyes whom many already considered a legend in the making.

Inside the residence, the spiritual whirlpool grew larger and larger, a vortex of light spinning with hypnotic beauty. Streams of Qi flowed directly into Kyrian’s eyes, vanishing into his violet pupils like water swallowed by a bottomless abyss.

It was a spectacle that any cultivator would have considered impossible, absorbing Qi through the eyes without the mediation of the traditional meridians.

Once inside, the energy traveled through the countless channels within his eyes, an intricate system. Every fragment of Qi was refined countless times, passing through successive layers of purification.

Impurities were burned away, conflicting energies were harmonized, until every particle reached a state of almost absolute purity.

Compressed. Refined. Purified.

Only then did the energy flow toward the third dantian.

There, within the space between his eyes, the enormous spiritual reservoir absorbed everything. It was like an ocean that never overflowed, a void that always hungered for more.

Its size increased gradually, an expansion visible only to his inner perception. Its inner walls became stronger, denser, and more stable with every particle of Qi that merged into them.

The Qi continued to accumulate without end.

Five minutes. Eight. Ten.

The flow continued uninterrupted, a torrent of energy that showed no signs of weakening. Kyrian remained motionless, his face a mask of absolute concentration. Sweat began to bead upon his forehead, yet his breathing remained calm and controlled.

Suddenly, a small explosion echoed within Kyrian’s forehead.

‘Boom.’

It was not a physical explosion. There were no flames, no fragments, no visible shockwaves. It was a spiritual sound, a vibration that only he could hear, a deep note resonating throughout his entire being. An invisible barrier shattered completely, like a crystal wall breaking into a thousand pieces.

The third dantian expanded noticeably, growing like a flower blooming in slow motion.

Qi burst in every direction, a brief release of energy before quickly returning to equilibrium, reorganizing itself into a new and more powerful configuration.

Kyrian slightly opened his eyes, only for a fraction of a second, just enough to assess his progress.

‘8th Stage of the Qi Accumulation Realm.’

But he did not stop. Quite the opposite. The suction became even more intense, as though the breaking of the first barrier had opened the floodgates for an even greater flow of energy.

More Qi. More energy. More refinement.

The whirlpool above the courtyard continued spinning without pause, a vortex of light and power drawing in more and more energy. The cultivators on the nearby streets were beginning to grow genuinely alarmed. Some of the bolder ones attempted to follow the flow of Qi to find its source, but they were repelled by an invisible pressure emanating from the courtyard.

Twenty minutes passed. Another spiritual explosion erupted.

‘Boom!’

The released pressure was even greater than the first, a wave of energy that caused the leaves of the tree above Kyrian to tremble violently. The third dantian expanded once again, its walls becoming thicker, its storage capacity increasing exponentially.

‘9th Stage.’

Kyrian remained completely motionless. His expression did not change. There was no pride on his face, no satisfaction, not even relief. Only unwavering focus, unshakable determination. Qi continued to pour into him without interruption, an endless river feeding his growth.

Time passed slowly, the hours unfolding like the pages of a book. Another ten minutes. Then twenty. Then thirty more.

Every second strengthened his third dantian even further. Every particle of Qi that merged into it made his foundation more solid and more resilient. It was like forging a sword; every hammer strike, no matter how small, contributed to the final perfection.

At last, another barrier was reached. There was nothing left to break through within that realm. The enormous spiritual reservoir had reached its limit, its walls extending as far as possible within the restrictions of that cultivation level. All the stored Qi seemed condensed to the extreme, compressed to the very edge of rupture.

Kyrian breathed slowly, a deep sigh that seemed to carry away the weight of all his effort.

The whirlpool began to shrink, its rotation becoming slower and less intense. The suction gradually disappeared, like the retreat of a receding tide. Freed from its pull, the particles of Qi naturally spread once more throughout the surroundings of the Sky Caravan, floating through the air as though nothing had happened.

He opened his eyes.

He could feel it clearly. His third dantian had reached the peak of the Qi Accumulation Realm. Only a single small step remained, one final leap, before reaching the Qi Liberation Realm.

It was possible to break through at that very moment. His body possessed enough energy, his foundation was solid, and his meridians flowed without obstruction. If he insisted, if he pushed just a little further, he would most likely succeed. The power of the next realm lay within reach, close enough to grasp, tempting and near.

But Kyrian slowly shook his head.

“No.” His voice was low, almost a whisper, yet filled with conviction.

“The time has not yet come.”

His foundation was far too important. Forcing a breakthrough simply because it was possible had never been his style. He had read about countless talented cultivators who had ruined their futures through impatience, by seeking the next level before they were truly ready.

He preferred to wait. To consolidate his foundation a little longer. When he broke through, he wanted to do so in an absolutely perfect manner, leaving no room for regrets.

He took a deep breath, the air flowing into his lungs like cool water. As he exhaled, tiny bolts of lightning escaped from his nostrils, crackling softly in the air before vanishing with a faint hiss. The residual energy from his cultivation still vibrated throughout his body, but it was already beginning to stabilize.

He slowly rose to his feet, his muscles stretching after hours of remaining still. His body felt even lighter, stronger, and more full of vitality. Energy flowed naturally through his meridians without the slightest obstacle, like a river that had finally found its perfect course.

He glanced briefly at the position of the sun, judging the time. The golden light of the early afternoon had already begun its descent toward sunset.

“The comprehension competition…” he murmured to himself.

It was time.

Without wasting another moment, he left the small courtyard, his footsteps swift and silent.
