Chapter 620: Qi Liberation Realm in the Third Dantian
Chapter 620: Qi Liberation Realm in the Third Dantian
Kyrian slowly sat down beneath the tree in the center of the small courtyard, his movements calm and deliberate, as if every gesture were part of an ancient ritual.
The gate was closed, the dark wood forming a solid barrier between him and the outside world. The simple walls separated that space from the rest of the Sky Caravan, and that night, that small protection seemed sufficient to keep away all the noise of the world.
Outside, the Festival was still in full swing, oblivious to what was about to happen within those walls. Even late at night, the Caravan remained illuminated by countless spiritual lanterns that floated like earthly stars above the streets.
Entire streets glowed with different colors, golden, blue, green, and violet, creating a luminous carpet that stretched across the entire floating city. Distant voices occasionally crossed the walls, fragments of conversations, laughter, and animated discussions about the day’s competitions.
Cultivators were returning from competitions, merchants were closing their stalls, and groups of young people were excitedly discussing the battles they had witnessed.
But none of that mattered to Kyrian. He closed his eyes, and the outside world began to fade away, its colors and sounds becoming increasingly distant until they disappeared completely.
His breathing became slow, and deeply rhythmic. Once, twice, three times, each cycle bringing a new layer of calm, each exhalation releasing the tension accumulated throughout the day.
His mind gradually abandoned all unnecessary thoughts, leaving behind worries, memories, and expectations.
There was no competition. There was no alchemy. There was no forging. There was no imminent departure from the Caravan. At that moment, there was only one thing, the Third Mirror Eye, pulsing on his forehead like a star, awaiting its moment.
Kyrian’s consciousness plunged deep into his own body, passing through layers of flesh and bone until it reached the center of his being. His first and second dantians had already reached high levels, their spheres of energy rotating in perfect harmony.
But his attention was not focused on them. All of his perception was concentrated on the center of his forehead, where a third sphere of energy awaited.
There, hidden behind his eyes, existed a dantian different from the others. Different from the conventional dantians that most cultivators possessed. Different even from the first two he had developed. The Third Mirror Eye seemed like a perfectly stable sphere of energy, formed from countless layers of compressed Qi intertwined like threads in a divine tapestry.
Its surface was smooth, polished like a jade mirror. There were no cracks, no imperfections, and no sign of instability. No amount of energy seemed to be placing excessive pressure on its structure, and no misalignment threatened its integrity.
Over the past few days, Kyrian had used battles to further consolidate this dantian, each confrontation adding a new layer of stability, every blow received and dodged strengthening his foundation.
Now, finally, he could state with absolute certainty. It was perfect. Peak of the Qi Accumulation Realm. Completely consolidated.
Kyrian opened his eyes, and in the next instant, his perception changed radically. The entire world seemed to lose its normal appearance, its solid forms dissolving into a sea of energy.
The walls of the courtyard were no longer simply walls, they were structures of intertwined Qi, each stone an energy array held together by invisible forces. The ground was no longer merely stone, it was a dense layer of earthly energy that pulsed with a constant vibration. The air was no longer invisible, it was an ocean of luminous particles floating in every direction.
Everything possessed energy. Particles of Qi floated everywhere, some so small and dispersed that an ordinary cultivator would never perceive their existence, others so dense that they seemed like tiny stars suspended in the void.
There was pure Qi, the fundamental essence that permeated all of creation. Fire Qi, pulsing with heat and intensity. Water Qi, flowing with liquid grace. Wind Qi, dancing with ethereal freedom. Earth Qi, solid and unchanging. Lightning Qi, sparkling with an electric energy that promised speed and destruction.
There were even extremely subtle particles whose properties Kyrian still could not fully understand, fragments of elements he was only beginning to perceive.
His violet eyes swept across the surroundings, his vision passing through the walls of the courtyard as if they were made of glass. Then it passed through other buildings, successive layers of stone and wood revealing themselves as structures of energy.
And others, increasingly farther away. Within moments, his field of perception had extended across a distance that an ordinary cultivator would have considered absurd, a vision that encompassed entire blocks of the floating city.
The entire Caravan seemed different through his eyes. He could observe the energy flows of the formations scattered throughout the city, some small and discreet, protecting individual residences, others enormous and complex, supporting entire structures.
He could perceive Qi circulating through the streets like invisible rivers, nourishing everything in its path. He could even distinguish some cultivators who were meditating in their rooms, their internal energies shining like small flames in the darkness.
And then he noticed something again that he had already observed before. The Sky Caravan possessed a gigantic formation, a structure of such magnitude that it encompassed practically the entire city. It was a Qi Gathering Formation, one of the greatest feats of spiritual engineering he had ever witnessed.
Its objective was simple, but its execution was extraordinary, gathering and concentrating the natural Qi of the region, creating an environment where cultivation was much more efficient than anywhere in the surrounding area.
The Caravan constantly crossed different territories, but at that moment it was at the extreme edge of the Northern Territory, a region known for having a lower Qi density than other parts of the world.
Without that formation, cultivation within the Caravan would be much slower, and many of the cultivators who visited it would have difficulty maintaining their progress. With it, however, the situation was completely different. The Qi within the city was extremely dense, a concentration that rivaled the best sacred lands on the continent.
