Chapter 621: Qi Liberation Realm in the Third Dantian (2)

For Kyrian, it was almost like standing before an ocean. And he was about to dive in.

A thought arose in his mind, clear and powerful as thunder. Come. There were no words, no complex technique, and no elaborate gesture. Only will, a pure intent that projected itself like a wave through the sea of Qi.

In the next instant, the particles of Qi within his field of vision began to move. At first slowly, as if hesitating, then increasingly faster, gaining momentum with growing speed. The air around Kyrian began to distort, the spiritual particles converging from all directions in a flow that grew more intense with every passing second.

An invisible current began to form above the courtyard, a stream of energy swirling in a spiral. Then another current joined it, and another, and another. Within seconds, countless currents of Qi converged toward the same point, creating a vortex that stretched across the entire neighborhood. The center of the storm was Kyrian.

He breathed deeply, and the Qi began to enter his eyes. One current, then another, then dozens, hundreds, and thousands.

The Qi disappeared into his violet pupils like water being swallowed by a bottomless abyss. It was not absorbed through his skin, nor was it guided through ordinary meridians. It entered directly through his eyes, a characteristic that made Kyrian’s cultivation completely different from the conventional path.

Within his eyes existed structures that seemed impossible, extremely complex spiritual channels that intertwined like an endless network. Each channel was a masterpiece, designed to process massive quantities of Qi with superhuman efficiency.

The Qi was divided, purified, adapted to Kyrian’s unique nature, and then channeled into the third dantian, the Mirror Third Eye.

The dantian began to pulse. Thump. A small vibration traveled through the sphere, a tremor that echoed throughout Kyrian’s entire body. Thump. Another vibration, stronger, deeper. Energy accumulated within it, layer upon layer, compressing into an increasingly greater density.

Kyrian remained motionless, a statue of flesh and bone at the center of the storm. There was no need to hurry. He had already walked this path once, already experienced the transition between realms with his eyes. He knew exactly what he needed to do, every step of the process engraved in his memory like a rehearsed dance.

Advancing to the Qi Liberation Realm was not simply a matter of accumulating energy. Any cultivator could fill their dantian with Qi until it overflowed, that was the basic principle of Accumulation.

But breaking through the barrier between the two realms required something deeper. Qi Accumulation represented the ability to gather and store energy, to build an internal reservoir.

Qi Liberation represented something different, the energy began to surpass the limits of the body, and the cultivator ceased to be merely a vessel and became a source. Qi could be projected, shaped outside the body, and interact directly with the world. It was the first step toward becoming something more than human.

Kyrian already knew that sensation. His other dantians had crossed that threshold before, and he remembered every nuance, every detail of the process. Therefore, there was no fear in his heart, only concentration, a silent determination that allowed no doubts.

Fifteen minutes passed, every second filled with meaning. The vortex of Qi above the courtyard continued to spin, feeding the process with a constant stream of energy. And then, some people in the Caravan began to notice the change.

An old cultivator who was meditating in his room opened his eyes, his expression confused. He frowned as he tried to identify what had changed. He felt the Qi around him diminishing, a subtle sensation that most cultivators would not even notice.

Not because the spiritual density of the city had changed, but because someone was absorbing an absurd amount of energy, creating a vacuum that pulled Qi from the entire surrounding area.

“What is happening?” He muttered, his eyes scanning the room in search of an explanation.

Elsewhere in the Caravan, a woman interrupted her meditation, her face turning toward the window. She raised her head, her gaze passing through the glass to find only the dark sky, dotted with spiritual stars.

There was nothing visible, no energy storm, no glowing formation, no spiritual manifestation that could explain the disturbance. And yet, she could feel it. The Qi was being pulled away, rapidly, as if an invisible beast were devouring the energy around it.

“Is some elder trying to break through a realm?” She speculated, her voice low.

The news began to spread, traveling from mouth to mouth like fire through dry straw. More sensitive cultivators began to notice the disturbance, their keen minds detecting the change in the flow of Qi.

Some left their residences, their eyes scanning the streets in search of the source. Others interrupted their training, their techniques abandoned midway. Some even began searching for the origin of the disturbance, following the currents of Qi like trackers following prey.

But no one managed to find it. The amount of energy being absorbed was so great that most came to a simple conclusion, it had to be some powerful cultivator attempting to break through a major bottleneck.

Perhaps someone close to the Spiritual Awakening Realm, perhaps even a higher-level cultivator attempting to reach a new level. No one imagined that the one responsible was a young man who had just reached the peak of Qi Accumulation, a cultivator whose name was still unknown to most.

Inside the courtyard, Kyrian remained completely unaware of the speculations stirring the Caravan. His focus was absolute, his mind a sharpened blade cutting through every distraction. His focus was solely on the third dantian, more Qi, more, and more.

The spiritual sphere began to expand, its originally compact structure slowly being stretched by the growing layers of energy. There was no pain, but there was pressure, a tension that grew with every passing instant. An ever-increasing pressure, as if the dantian itself were being tested to its limits.
