New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 2145: Ajax's Plan

[Are there any participants who want to leave the Elemental Source Land? If so, you can leave before the Second Round begins.]

Hearing the announcement from the Ancient Voice, none of the participants was surprised.

One of the reasons why the Elemental Source Lands were much safer than other secret realms and treasure lands was that they allowed participants to leave in the middle of the trials.

If the initial rounds were too dangerous, the participants could simply leave the Elemental Source Land.

Of course, those who had gained significant rewards in the earlier rounds could also choose to leave, as there was no reason to take unnecessary risks before converting their rewards into actual strength.

'The rewards of the First Round are already so generous. I wonder how generous the rewards of the next rounds will be!'

'There is no way I'm leaving the Elemental Source Land without obtaining more rewards.'

'Only an idiot would leave the Elemental Source Land now!'

None of the participants seemed interested in leaving the Elemental Source Land.

Even though a few participants had died during the First Round, their numbers were relatively small. Moreover, most of them had been killed by Elemental Beasts because of their lack of proper planning.

Compared to the dangers, the rewards were simply too tempting.

Even Quasi-Divine Realm Cultivators would go crazy over Divine Elemental Potions, let alone the younger generation participating in the trials.

What's more, even those who hadn't secured a place in the top ten had collected at least 1,000 Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals. With that many crystals, they could help at least one of their Elemental Spirits achieve full Elemental Ascendance.

'From the name of the Second Round, Elemental Spirit Cultivator, I can guess that it must be related to nurturing Elemental Spirits.'

'Although my battle prowess might be inferior to that of the top ten participants, when it comes to nurturing Elemental Spirits, I'm a professional!'

For Summoners, this was an opportunity that they might not encounter again in their entire lives.

Therefore, everyone wanted to remain in the Elemental Source Land and obtain more rewards.

Of course, none of them knew that the participants who had been eliminated earlier had lost all their Elemental Spirits.

If they had known about that terrifying consequence, many of them would have left without the slightest hesitation.

Other than that, they also didn't know that the name of the Second Round had been intentionally revealed before the participants were given the option to leave the Elemental Source Land.

'What? Is that Mastermind actually allowing the participants to leave?'

On the other hand, Ajax was surprised by the announcement.

He hadn't expected the Ancient Voice to give the participants such an option.

'Wait a second...'

Suddenly, Ajax thought of something.

'Could it be that whoever is controlling the rounds in the Elemental Source Land has to follow certain rules?'

Although Ajax had realized that there was a mastermind controlling the Elemental Source Land, he didn't believe that person was omnipotent.

Otherwise, there would be no need to go through the trouble of hosting rounds, announcing rules, and distributing rewards.

That person could simply take whatever they wanted from the participants.

However, things didn't seem to be that simple.

'Looks like there might be a way to deal with that person if I manage to win all the rounds in this Elemental Source Land.'

Thinking about this possibility, Ajax became excited.

'I wonder if that mastermind has anything to do with my teleportation to this universe.'

According to the information he had gathered, the Elemental Source Land had appeared around the same time he had been transported to this universe.

Although the timing could be a coincidence, Ajax couldn't help but suspect that the two events were connected.

If his suspicion was correct, the person controlling the Elemental Source Land might know how he had arrived in this universe.

More importantly, that person might even possess a method to send him back!

With such thoughts in his mind, Ajax naturally had no intention of leaving the Elemental Source Land.

'Should I reveal the terrifying danger of this Elemental Source Land to everyone?'

Ajax briefly considered informing the other participants about the loss of their Elemental Spirits.

However, he soon shook his head.

It wasn't that he wanted the other participants to suffer. Rather, even if he revealed the truth, most of them might not believe him.

After all, losing all their Elemental Spirits simply because they failed to meet the requirements of the First Round sounded ridiculous.

Moreover, if too many participants left after learning the truth, the person controlling the Elemental Source Land might become suspicious.

That could ruin Ajax's chances of discovering the identity of the mysterious person.

'Forget it. I'll leave this matter to fate.'

However, when Ajax looked at Thorne and his team, he changed his mind.

Unlike the other participants, Thorne and his team had a close relationship with him. They had also cooperated with him throughout the First Round.

Moreover, Thorne needed to keep his Elemental Spirits to obtain the method for unsealing Ajax's sealed Divine Elemental Spirits.

Even though Ajax believed that Thorne would still keep his promise, he didn't want his first friend and the first team he was part of in this new universe to meet such a tragic end.

Thus, he believed there was no reason to let them remain in danger when he could warn them.

'Brother Thorne, I think you should leave the Elemental Source Land with your team.'

'Huh?'

Thorne looked at Ajax in confusion.

Before he could ask anything, Ajax briefly explained what had happened to the participants who had been eliminated earlier.

He told them through voice transmission that although those participants had safely appeared outside the Elemental Source Land, they had lost all their Elemental Spirits.

'What? They lost all their Elemental Spirits?'

'How is that possible?'

'Doesn't that mean they have lost the foundation of their strength as Summoners?'

Thorne, Flint, Garrett, and Bess were thoroughly shocked.

The four of them exchanged alarmed glances.
