New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 2165: Elemental Beast Tamer

[Congratulations, host! Your Elemental Spirit has awakened a Divine Talent!]

'Finally, it's awakened!'

Ajax was excited by the system notification. However, before he could check the details of the Divine Talent, he witnessed a shocking scene.

'Keech!'

'Keech!'

The remaining four Low-Level Emperor Realm Flaming Monkeys that Ajax had kept for collecting Divine Pearls later were bowing towards Protos.

'What?'

Ajax rubbed his eyes, wondering whether he had seen it incorrectly.

However, when he looked again, the four Flaming Monkeys were still bowing towards Protos, showing no intention of attacking him.

Even though they were unconscious a few moments ago, they had regained consciousness while Protos was killing the other Flaming Monkeys.

From what Ajax had observed, the Elemental Beasts had only two instincts: the instinctive madness to kill Summoners and Elemental Spirits, and the fear that made them flee when facing powerful opponents.

Previously, in the First Round, Ajax had even tried communicating with them, hoping to tame them. However, those Elemental Beasts couldn't understand anything he said.

But now, seeing them bowing towards Protos, how could Ajax not be shocked?

'It must be because of the Divine Talent!'

Ajax was certain that the scene was connected to the Divine Talent Protos had just awakened.

Without wasting any time, he checked its details.

[Divine Talent: Elemental Beast Tamer (Fire)]

[Effect: Any Fire-type Elemental Beast below the Divine Realm can be instantly tamed.]

[Note: The number of Elemental Beasts that can be controlled is directly related to the Elemental Spirit's cultivation.]

[Note: At the Elemental Spirit King Realm, the Elemental Spirit can control up to 10 Elemental Beasts, regardless of their strength.]

'As expected, it is related to the Divine Talent!'

After reading the details, Ajax confirmed it was the Divine Talent's doing and became excited.

'What's more, he can control ten Elemental Beasts regardless of their strength!'

Currently, after killing most of the Flaming Monkeys, only four remained in the cave.

Suddenly, another thought crossed Ajax's mind.

'If he fills all ten slots with Peak Emperor Realm Elemental Beasts, his battle prowess will increase tremendously.'

After all, these Elemental Beasts weren't ordinary creatures.

Even an ordinary Emperor Realm Flaming Monkey could become a threat to a regular Emperor Realm Cultivator.

If Protos controlled ten such creatures, his overall strength would increase considerably.

Moreover, Ajax knew that the number of slots would increase further once Protos broke through to the Emperor Realm.

'Even though I can't tame the Elemental Beasts myself, my Elemental Spirit can!'

From the beginning, Ajax had been interested in these Elemental Beasts and wanted to tame them.

Unfortunately, their lack of consciousness made it impossible for him to communicate with them, let alone tame them.

Now, his first Elemental Spirit in this new universe had awakened a Divine Talent that allowed him to do exactly that.

Ajax couldn't be happier.

'Wait a second... Can he control the Quasi-Divine Elemental Beasts as well?'

Suddenly, another thought formed in Ajax's mind.

Generally, a Low-Level King Realm Elemental Beast had the battle prowess of a Low-Level Emperor Realm creature after evolving into a Quasi-Divine Elemental Beast.

Similarly, a Low-Level Emperor Realm Elemental Beast could reach the peak of the Emperor Realm in terms of battle prowess after its evolution.

Even though Ajax didn't know how powerful a Peak Emperor Realm Elemental Beast would become after evolving, he believed it wouldn't be much weaker than an ordinary Quasi-Divine Realm cultivator.

After all, the Quasi-Divine Realm was a realm achieved by those who failed their ascension to the Heavenly Realm but miraculously survived the Ascension Tribulation, and such cultivators were also considered masters of the Universe.

'If Protos could control such powerful Elemental Beasts, he would become a strong powerhouse in this universe even without my help!'

Just thinking about it made Ajax's eyes shine with excitement.

'Let's see whether he can control the Quasi-Divine Elemental Beasts or whether I'm expecting too much from this Divine Talent.'

With that thought, Ajax quickly picked one of the four Low-Level Emperor Realm Flaming Monkeys and evolved it into a Quasi-Divine Elemental Beast.

'Kacha!'

A crisp cracking sound came from the newly evolved Elemental Beast, and Protos lost his control over that Flaming Monkey.

'Roar!'

It roared in madness and rushed to kill Protos, but it was quickly subdued by Ajax.

'Can't control it?'

Ajax frowned but didn't give up as he asked, "Protos, try controlling this one."

"Yes, Summoning Master!"

Protos immediately looked towards the Quasi-Divine Flaming Monkey.

'Swiish!'

A faint golden-red light appeared in his eyes as a mysterious force spread from his body towards the Flaming Monkey.

The Flaming Monkey trembled for a moment before lowering its head even further.

'Roar!'

Unlike its previous roars filled with madness, this time, it obediently roared towards Protos.

[The Elemental Spirit, Protos, has successfully tamed a Low-Level Emperor Realm Flaming Monkey (Quasi-Divine Elemental Beast).]

'It worked!'

Ajax was delighted when he saw the system notification.

Even after evolving into a Quasi-Divine Elemental Beast, the Flaming Monkey was still under Protos's control.

'Excellent!'

Without wasting any time, Ajax injected 5,000 units of Divine Essence of Nature into the remaining three Low-Level Emperor Realm Flaming Monkeys.

Their bodies underwent the familiar transformation, and their battle prowess increased tremendously.

However, like before, Protos momentarily lost control of them, but with Ajax's help, he used his Divine Talent to bring these evolved Elemental Beasts under his control.

Soon, none of them showed any hostility towards Protos; instead, they obediently approached him and bowed their heads.

[The Elemental Spirit, Protos, has successfully tamed three Low-Level Emperor Realm Flaming Monkeys (Quasi-Divine Elemental Beasts).]

'Four Quasi-Divine Elemental Beasts!'

Ajax couldn't help but grin.

Even though they were only Low-Level Emperor Realm Flaming Monkeys before their evolution, they now possessed battle prowess equivalent to the peak Emperor Realm.

More importantly, Protos could control six more such Quasi-Divine Elemental Beasts.

"Protos, let's go!"

"Where are we going, Summoning Master?"

Protos asked curiously.

"There are still more than six slots left. Let's find some more Flaming Monkeys and fill them."

Ajax smiled as he looked towards the depths of the Flaming Forest.

The bloodline boost from the Abyssal Beast God would last for more than an hour, and Ajax wanted to make the most of it.

With Protos's newfound Divine Talent, every Fire-type Elemental Beast they encountered was a potential addition to his growing army.

"Understood, Summoning Master!"

Protos excitedly nodded.
