New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 2172: End of Second Round

The thing is, when an Elemental Spirit with extremely low cultivation kills a King Realm Elemental Beast, the rewards are very generous.

But the rewards would be completely negligible if an Elemental Spirit with Level 9 Emperor Realm cultivation kills even an Emperor Realm Elemental Beast.

That's what happened with Elyndra's new Elemental Spirit.

After all, by the time its Elemental Ascendance awakened, its cultivation had already reached Level 9 Elemental Spirit Emperor Realm.

At such a high cultivation realm, killing ordinary Elemental Beasts would provide far fewer rewards than killing them at a lower cultivation realm.

Even Protos, who had been continuously killing evolved Emperor Realm Elemental Beasts, was receiving increasingly small rewards for each kill.

.....

"How can this be?"

"Damn it! Why is my Elemental Spirit so stupid?"

"It can't even awaken the simple Elemental Ascendance!"

.

.

.

In other regions of the Elemental Source Land, numerous participants were losing their patience.

Over the past twenty days, many participants had successfully nurtured their newly contracted Elemental Spirits to the Emperor Realm with the help of Spirit Stones.

However, despite their efforts, their Elemental Spirits still hadn't awakened their Elemental Ascendance.

Some had tried using Elemental Spirit Ascension Crystals repeatedly, while others had ordered their Elemental Spirits to fight the Elemental Beasts.

Unfortunately, the results were disappointing.

Even when some Elemental Spirits finally awakened their Elemental Ascendance, the participants were frustrated by how slowly the awakening percentage increased.

As a result, many participants started questioning whether they were unlucky and had gotten a wastrel Elemental Spirit in the Second Round.

However, none of them knew that Ajax was having a completely different experience.

While the other participants were struggling to awaken their Elemental Spirits' Elemental Ascendance, Ajax's Elemental Spirit had completely awakened its Elemental Ascendance in the Elemental Spirit Commander Realm and was currently busy repeating the same process.

Capture an Elemental Beast, evolve it, and let Protos' Elemental Beast Army kill it.

If Ajax encountered a High-Level Emperor Realm Elemental Beast, he would add it to Protos' Elemental Beast Army, replacing one of the weaker ones.

Thanks to this process, Protos' cultivation continued to increase, and his Elemental Beast Army became stronger with each passing day.

.....

Another two days passed.

During these two days, Ajax continued his hunting and evolution process without stopping.

By now, Protos' Elemental Beast Army had undergone a complete transformation.

The weaker Emperor Realm Elemental Beasts had gradually been replaced by High-Level Emperor Realm evolved Elemental Beasts.

With the addition of these powerful beasts, the overall strength of the Elemental Beast Army had increased considerably.

At the same time, Protos' cultivation finally reached the Peak Elemental Spirit Emperor Realm!

'Even though there were very few High-Level Emperor Realm Elemental Beasts, I still managed to find 20 of them during the past few days. But it already looks very powerful.'

Ajax looked at Protos with satisfaction.

'Now, let's see what happens when you reach the pinnacle of the Earth Realm.'

Since the Second Round was meant to nurture the Elemental Spirit only to the King Realm, he had been curious about what would happen when Protos reached the highest cultivation realm possible in the Second Round with fully awakened Elemental Ascendance.

In short, there was no more cultivation required for the Elemental Spirit other than ascending to the Heavenly Realm with its Summoning Master.

'Even without his current Elemental Beast Army, Protos could fight against the Quasi-Divine Realm Beings of the universe, and with the help of the Elemental Beast Army, he could take down multiple Quasi-Divine Realm Beings at once with ease.'

The thing is, even Ajax was not confident in fighting against Protos' Elemental Beast Army without revealing his Quasi-Divine Skills and techniques.

[The host's Elemental Spirit, Protos, has killed a Quasi-Divine Elemental Beast (Emperor Realm).]

[The proficiency of the skill [Fiery Rage] has increased slightly.]

[The host's Elemental Spirit, Protos's cultivation has increased slightly, and he has broken through to Peak Level 9 Elemental Spirit Emperor Realm!]

Just as the Elemental Beast Army killed an evolved Emperor Realm Elemental Beast, Protos' cultivation finally reached the pinnacle of the Earth Realm.

[Attention, participants!]

Just as Ajax expected, it didn't take long before the Ancient Voice resounded throughout the entire Elemental Source Land.

[One participant's Elemental Spirit has reached the pinnacle of the Earth Realm, fulfilling the conditions to conclude the Second Round!]

[Therefore, the Second Round has come to an end!]

[Those who were unable to nurture their Elemental Spirit to the Elemental Spirit King Realm would be eliminated.]

[As for those who passed, the unofficial contract between them and their new Elemental Spirits can be converted into an official one.]

The moment the announcement rang out, the entire Elemental Source Land fell silent.

"What?"

"Someone reached the pinnacle of the Earth Realm?"

"How is that possible? It's only been twenty-two days!"

The participants were completely shocked.

Although they hadn't struggled much to nurture their newly contracted Elemental Spirits over the past twenty-two days, they had struggled with awakening their Elemental Spirits' Elemental Ascendance.

However, someone had already reached the pinnacle of the Earth Realm!

In the Water Terrain, Elyndra's expression changed as she heard the announcement.

'Who could it be?'

She had only awakened her Elemental Spirit's Elemental Ascendance after seven days of continuous fighting, and increasing its awakening percentage would take even longer.

Reaching the pinnacle of the Earth Realm in just twenty-two days seemed almost impossible!

'Could it be Kael?'

Elyndra quickly thought of the second-ranked participant from the First Round.

Kael Draven had an impressive background and abundant resources. It wouldn't be surprising if he had found a way to nurture his Elemental Spirit much faster than others.

However, even Kael's resources couldn't guarantee such a ridiculous speed!

.....

In another region, Kael Draven looked up at the sky with a frown.

'Who reached the pinnacle of the Earth Realm before me?'

He had already used an enormous number of resources to nurture his Elemental Spirit, yet he hadn't managed to reach the Peak Emperor Realm.

Moreover, his Elemental Spirit still hadn't awakened its Elemental Ascendance.

'I refuse to believe someone could have progressed this quickly without some special advantage.'

Kael clenched his fists as he waited for the Ancient Voice to announce the final rankings.

.....

Meanwhile, the other participants were equally shocked.

Some suspected Elyndra Raith, while others believed Kael Draven was responsible.

A few even wondered whether Dorian Ashveil or another powerful participant had discovered a special method to accelerate their Elemental Spirit's cultivation.

However, none of them thought of Ajax, a loose body cultivator.

After all, he had ranked only sixth in the First Round, and many believed he was not good at nurturing Elemental Spirits, since he never summoned them to fight the Elemental Beasts.

Although his performance had been impressive, the other participants hadn't considered him a serious threat in the Second Round.

They had no idea that while they were struggling to awaken the Elemental Ascendance, Ajax had been building an army of evolved Emperor Realm Elemental Beasts.

[The rankings for the Second Round will now be announced!]

Hearing the Ancient Voice, every participant immediately turned their attention towards the sky.

They were desperate to know who had managed to reach the pinnacle of the Earth Realm in just twenty-two days.

Meanwhile, Ajax stood beside Protos and smiled bitterly, 'I wanted to keep a low profile in the new universe, but once again, I am showing off.'
