Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 463: Back me up, Grey Lockhart

Chapter 463: Back me up, Grey Lockhart

There was no one who did not know Tian Yuan. He was an ancient, terrifying figure across the starry sky.

He was once considered one of the supreme divine powers of the cosmos. But then he began aggressively experimenting on humanity and other races to further his goals. Eventually, the Daoye Palace was branded as a sect of heretics.

But no one ever forgot his name because not even the oldest, most powerful ancestors of the starry sky could do a single thing to stop him. It was even widely rumored that one of those supreme human ancestors was actually his former disciple!

"Heretic Tian Yuan!" Grand Arbiter Matthew shouted in sheer disbelief.

"Hey, do not call me a heretic, or I will break your legs," Tian Yuan glared coldly at Matthew. This small fry was calling him a heretic? Did he not know that in his main universe, he was a highly revered being?

"It turned out to be him," Anderson muttered, a deeply baffled look forming on his face.

"You know him, Dad?" Grey, who was sitting comfortably in his seat watching the apocalyptic show with a deadpan look, asked casually.

"Yes, I know him. Your grandfather actually warned us about him specifically," Anderson spoke in a bewildered, trembling tone.

Just then, Angela rushed forward and hugged Grey tightly, much to his bewilderment.

"Do not worry, Grey. You will be safe. You are safe with your mother," Angela said, her voice laced with absolute seriousness. "Your grandfather told us to never cross paths with him. If we do, we run immediately. He is an undefeatable being throughout the starry sky. To this day, the Daoye Palace still exists simply because absolutely no one can defeat him."

Just then, a furious shout interrupted the tense atmosphere.

"Enough of this farce! You mongrel Abyssal God! What are your true intentions?!"

The person who spoke was none other than Errol. He stood up from the dragon seating area with an enraged, highly arrogant look on his face.

However, the instant he spoke, the entire stadium fell into a dead, suffocating silence.

Bzzt! Whrmm!

Reality glitched violently. In the very next millisecond, Errol was teleported directly in front of the Abyssal God and Tian Yuan.

Before anyone could even blink, the Abyssal God casually raised his foot and stomped it directly onto Errol’s face with a completely indifferent look.

"Arghhh!"

Errol screamed in sheer, humiliating agony as his skull cracked. This casual stomp was not a simple physical attack. It was heavily layered with immense conceptual weight that could effortlessly crush anything in its path.

----

Alissa, Miwa, and Juli, who were watching the live feed from their secure VIP room, had highly bewildered expressions on their faces.

Both Juli and Alissa watched the brutal scene with mixed emotions. To them, Errol was an arrogant enemy, someone who had shamelessly disrespected Grey. Hence, they felt absolutely no pity seeing his pride shattered into the dirt.

But the person delivering the beating was an infinitely worse entity.

"You! Stop what you are doing this instant!" The Dragon Patriarch rose up from his golden throne with an enraged, murderous look on his ancient face.

"Do you want to die too?" the Abyssal God asked, turning his freezing cold eyes toward the Patriarch.

The Patriarch’s expression twisted in pure rage. However, before he could do anything foolish like presenting his neck to Azathoth, Tian Yuan casually clapped his hands together. Immediately, an invisible, crushing force slammed the Patriarch back into his throne, forcibly sealing his mouth shut.

"Oh?" Azathoth tilted his head in mild interest. "Why are you actively protecting these overgrown lizards, Tian Yuan? Are you experimenting on them?"

"That is none of your concern, #####," Tian Yuan spoke coldly, the world itself violently censoring his utterance of the true name. "I believe it is best if you leave right now. This Null Zone... it will not take me long to break it."

"Calm down now. Did I not say I was just here for the tournament? Once it is over, I will naturally leave."

"Come on, Grey Lockhart. Say something. You have been sitting on the sidelines watching this unfold like a daytime soap opera for a while now." Azathoth slowly turned his attention back toward the Arclight VIP area, a wide, devious grin stretching across his face.

The instant the Abyssal God shifted his gaze, every single eye in the stadium followed him. The collective gaze of billions fell upon a young man sitting quietly in his seat, observing the terrifying situation with a completely deadpan look.

"Huh?" Everyone immediately froze.

Anderson and Angela’s expressions visibly paled when they realized the terrifying Abyssal God was looking directly at Grey.

The Emperors, the other family members of the Arclight house, the Grand Arbiter, Jeremiah, Jason, and the three girls watching from the screens all stared at Grey in pure, unadulterated shock.

For a singular, agonizing second, everyone held their breath in absolute disbelief.

"Me?" Grey pointed at himself exactly like a highly confused cat. "I think you have the wrong guy. I am Grey Arclight."

"...?" Azathoth blinked upon hearing this shameless denial. As if realizing the absolute absurdity of the situation, he slowly turned toward Tian Yuan.

"Is this guy seriously roleplaying as a weakling right now? The last time he barged into the Abyss, he permanently erased at least five planets."

"But is he not a weakling?" Tian Yuan retorted mockingly. "He could not even defend himself against that pathetic dragon beneath your feet earlier today."

"G-Grey?" Angela could not help but call out to her son, who had already calmly stood up from his seat.

Everyone stared at Grey. To the eyes of the cosmos, he looked like nothing more than an ordinary, talentless seventeen-year-old human stuck at the pathetic 4th Rank. He was the Lost Heir. The boy everyone had secretly or openly looked down upon since his arrival on the Origin Planet.

"I am completely sure you have the wrong guy," Grey blinked innocently.

The Abyssal God merely chuckled at this blatant lie. Taking that as a direct cue, one of the young Abyssal warriors standing on the arena floor violently unleashed his dark aura.

Origin Manifestation, 11th Level!

Without any prior warning, the terrifying Abyssal genius lunged straight into the air, aiming a lethal strike directly at Grey’s throat.

"Grey, watch out!" Angela cried out in sheer terror, desperately trying to jump in front of him.

However, right before she could move, Grey simply snorted at the incoming attacker.

Boom!

A terrifying, suffocating aura violently erupted from Grey’s body. The raw, unfiltered pressure climbed from the 4th Rank and shattered past the 5th Rank in a fraction of a millisecond, completely suppressing the entire Origin Manifestation realm itself!

The spatial fabric screamed as an ocean of heavy, silver-purple energy flooded the stadium. Yet, defying all known cosmic logic, his core life level still firmly remained at the 4th Rank!

"W-What is this?!" Uncle David’s jaw dropped wide open in sheer disbelief. "Such terrifying power... how can a mere 4th Ranker possess this much raw power?!"

The 11th-level Abyssal warrior who had lunged at him did not even reach the balcony. The sheer conceptual weight of Grey’s aura slammed into the genius like a falling meteor, crushing him face-first into the solid arena floor. The Abyssal prodigy was instantly pinned down, unable to even lift a single finger under the suffocating pressure.

"Why did you two have to pull me into this?" Grey sighed heavily.

To the absolute horror and bewilderment of everyone present, Grey casually stepped forward, walking on the empty air exactly like Tian Yuan had done. He completely ignored the absolute suppression of the God Relic’s Null Zone.

"I am just visiting my parents after a long time. Could you both not take your childish measuring contest somewhere else?" Grey added staring directly at the two most dangerous beings in existence.

"#####, you just had to come in and ruin my vacation."

"!!!!!?"

The entire stadium, the Emperors, his arrogant brothers, the idols, the dragons, and his own parents felt their minds completely short-circuit. The ’weak’ Lost Heir had just casually suppressed a supreme Abyssal genius, completely ignored a God Relic, and shamelessly cursed out the Abyssal God directly to his face!

....And even uttered his name.
