Chapter 464: His power on full display
Chapter 464: His power on full display
Everyone stared at the scene with pure bafflement. This included Errol, who was currently crushed bleeding beneath the Abyssal God’s foot, the entire Arclight family in the VIP box, and Evan, who was standing frozen in the stadium below.
"How is he here?" Evan was completely stunned.
Deep inside him, a certain individual looked up at Grey’s floating figure with twitching lips. The last time she saw him was back on Star Blue, and now he had successfully reached the central starry sky. And even this time around, he did not forget to completely shock her.
She was well versed in what a God Relic meant. It was a supreme artifact once possessed by a true god, holding strict divine rules within it. These cosmic rules were not something that normal Evolvers could easily break. And this specific relic was currently being actively powered by the Abyssal God himself!
"Brother...?" Juli showed a deeply baffled look on her porcelain face.
By now, she, along with the other tournament participants, had come out of their waiting rooms and gathered on the sidelines of the arena floor. They all stared up at Grey in sheer disbelief.
Everyone had clearly seen his terrifying display of power just now. It was simply unfathomable. He had directly crushed an elite, 11th-level Origin Manifestation Abyssal genius without even lifting a single finger!
Who here was as strong as that? The honest answer was no one.
"How is this possible? Brother is still only at the 4th Rank." Juli could not grasp the absurd situation.
She could sense his aura clearly. His fourth genetic limiter was still firmly in place, exactly the same as before. Meaning, her brother was not secretly hiding a true cultivation at the 5th Rank. The undeniable fact that he still held a mortal, fleshly body was definite proof that he remained a 4th Ranker.
She had heard of mythical geniuses who could skip four or five minor levels in the ancient legends. She herself could skip two levels and fight someone two stages higher than her. But this?
This was skipping an entire major realm! He was skipping ten entire levels, and it did not even seem to be his true limit considering how effortlessly he suppressed the attacker.
"Grey..." Alissa was equally stunned seeing this unfolding scene.
Her heart raced softly in her chest. What exactly was his hidden connection with these supreme beings? One was the greatest divine power of the starry sky, and the other was the greatest evil that existed within the universe. What role did he play between them?
She knew he was far from normal, but to think the Abyssal God would actively recognize him? There were so many mysteries surrounding Grey that she realized she knew almost nothing about his true self. Perhaps, to him, all the political farce that had happened until now was mere passing entertainment. The way he floated casually in the sky alongside two world-ending monsters spoke vastly more than any words could.
"This..." Jeremiah wore a highly baffled expression.
He simply could not believe what his eyes were showing him right now. The Lost Heir who had abruptly appeared in their family was standing securely on the empty air, facing two supreme beings as if he were on their exact equal footing.
The entire CosmoWeb, still actively broadcasting this live scene, was going completely crazy. Just a few short hours ago, they were ruthlessly trolling him online. But he turned out to be a terrifying wolf hiding in sheep’s clothing!
The viewers were far too stunned to even type in the chat. From the few coherent comments appearing, it was blatantly clear that when the Abyssal God’s true name was uttered, the cosmic laws would actively censor it. The terrifying fact that Grey’s words just got censored meant that he also knew the Abyssal God’s forbidden name.
Not even the Grand Arbiter knew that heavily guarded secret.
"Whenever I see a terrible omen, it always turns out to be something directly related to you, #####," Grey said with a highly tired sigh.
"He said the name again," Miwa whispered, a bewildered look frozen on her face.
The other spectators were equally shocked. What was up with these two young men? How could they casually drop the true name of this supreme evil being like this? Were they genuinely not afraid of death?
But on the other hand, why did it seem like the Abyssal God only paid attention to the two of them? When the 6th Rank dragon Errol spoke up even once, he was instantly crushed beneath his feet!
"I am strictly here for some entertainment," Azathoth grinned as he eyed Tian Yuan and Grey, who were both obviously on high guard against him.
"But now I am even more excited to see exactly how much you have grown since our last meeting," Azathoth said, a freezing cold smile forming on his face.
As he said that, he snapped his fingers. Immediately, dozens of dark portals tore open in the sky, and hundreds of highly corrupted Abyssal warriors poured out into the stadium.
And every single one of them was at the absolute peak of the 5th Rank.
"You. What is your true intention, #####?" Tian Yuan asked coldly, his sealed powers beginning to forcibly revolve rapidly around his body, fighting the Null Zone.
"What is my intention? I am just here to have some fun." As Azathoth spoke, powerful dark lightning violently erupted from his form and shot directly toward Grey.
Following their master’s strike, all the other elite Abyssal warriors also shot toward Grey with blinding speed.
Boom!
Seeing this overwhelming assault, Grey simply snorted.
He hesitated no longer. His Nexus Overclock churned with immense raw power as glowing, intricate markings formed rapidly across his skin. Before, they only appeared for a brief split second when he crushed the first Abyssal warrior. But now, they were on full, terrifying display.
Boom!
The instant his raw power fully descended, the tournament participants below grew even paler. This suffocating pressure was vastly more powerful than before!
Grey casually utilized his raw telekinesis. In a fraction of an instant, every single peak 5th Rank Abyssal warrior rushing toward him was violently crushed into a bloody paste mid-air.
Anytime now, Fragment, Grey urged mentally.
[I am actively trying... but I cannot remember that specific feeling!] the Fragment replied in distress.
’I think right now is not the best time to get into feelings. If you do not do something quickly, I will die,’ Grey shot back.
[I am trying!]
"You killed them all in one move." For a split moment, both Tian Yuan and Azathoth had genuinely stunned looks on their faces.
As did Errol, who was still bleeding beneath the God’s foot. They only felt a minute mental fluctuation from the boy before an entire army of peak 5th Rankers was erased from existence!
Everyone seeing this brutal scene sucked in a sharp, cold breath.
The people that knew Grey was well aware of his background and knew his age.
"Is he not physically younger than me?" Juli was heavily baffled. "How did he obtain such terrifying powers in such a short amount of time?"
"How old is he right now?" Miwa asked, as she stared up at the youth in the sky.
"He is a month away from turning eighteen," Juli answered, a deeply bewildered look frozen on her face.
