Chapter 478: A Family of Freaks? Rescuing the Jade Beauty!

Whrmm! Bzzt! Crack!

Space cracked and folded as Alissa and Grey arrived in his sub-dimension.

"You... What is with you and embarrassing me in public? Shameless! Beast! Bastard!" Alissa rapidly threw curses at Grey as she launched several waves of icy attacks at him.

Her stellar reputation was now completely in ruins. She was always the talk of the Pan-Cosmic Human Alliance thanks to her being an idol.

Now, how was she supposed to face anyone now?

The next time someone tried to schedule a meeting with her, they would probably ask: "Where is your husband?"

Would this not spell the end of the Lumina Idol Group?

Grey chuckled seeing her in a dilemma.

Right now, there was only Alissa and Grey isolated in this sub-dimension.

He genuinely wanted to speak with her privately after not seeing her for so long.

"Tell me, how was this past year?" Grey laughed softly, easily dodging her attacks. "Did you miss me? I know you missed me."

"Who would miss you?" Alissa clicked her tongue in sheer annoyance. "We only knew each other for a few months. You are a shameless transmigrator who did terrible things to me."

Grey was taken aback upon hearing this. "Why do you have to put it like that? Hey. I did not actually do anything wrong, did I?"

While on that topic, the Grey of the past was actually just another version of himself. A version that had not yet awakened his past memories. That would be the most accurate way to frame it. Although he did not carry all the emotional baggage of the past, that specific version who bullied and treated Alissa like garbage was, in fact, still him.

It made him seriously wonder, why exactly did he do it? What could the possible psychological reason be? And on that note, the real reason why he was deemed unsuitable for the heavenly paths was probably directly related to his unique identity as a Fateless One.

Hearing his weak defense, Alissa snorted, but a flash of hesitation quickly appeared on her flawless face.

"By the way, Grey. The Arclights... do they know you are a transmigrator? Are you not someone who took over the previous Grey’s body?"

"What will they do if they find out that you are not their real son, but a fake one?" Alissa wore a slightly worried expression, breaking through her usual cold facade.

She rarely showed concern for others before, but after spending so much time with Miwa and Juli, she slowly started expressing her emotions, even if she tried to maintain her naturally stoic look. A defensive habit built over countless years was difficult to break in such a short amount of time.

"Well, they never truly interacted with me in the first place, to be honest. You remember Wang Lin’s records, right? He clearly mentioned he found me when I was a baby who could not even talk," Grey said with a casual shrug. "So there is virtually no difference here."

"And besides..." Grey hesitated for a brief moment, then decided to tell her the truth anyway. He openly explained the bizarre matters of his entire family’s transmigration.

"Then, does that mean even Juli...?" Alissa wore a completely stunned look.

"Yes," Grey replied with a soft click of his tongue. "She was my sister in my past life too."

"You and your family are all freaks," Alissa could not help but mutter.

"Hey. No need to be so harsh," Grey smiled wryly. "Is it just me, or have you gotten ruder over the past year? It looks like without my tender care and love, you have grown much colder."

Alissa looked at him with a thoroughly detached glare upon hearing his teasing. "Shameless," she mumbled under her breath.

Alissa had grown exceptionally more beautiful after breaking through to the 5th Rank, and she would only continue to evolve perfectly from here on out.

"By the way, now that the Dragon Clan is entirely gone, what do you plan to do? Do you want to come to the newly found domain with me?" Grey asked, shifting the topic to business.

"A newly found domain?" Alissa inquired with a tilted head.

Grey nodded and began recounting exactly what the human ancestors had explained to him regarding the Origin Body Evolutionary Path and the Myriad Gates.

"That is interesting, I suppose," Alissa mumbled, her expression softening slightly. "But I really want to spend more time with my father and mother first. You got your parents back, and I want to spend quality time with mine as well."

"Well, we can easily arrange that," Grey said with a warm chuckle. "I plan on shifting my main residence to the Dragon World. You all can stay there safely too. Besides, it is not like we are leaving for the new domain immediately."

"I will do that then," Alissa nodded in agreement.

---

Grey then safely sent Alissa back to the Origin Planet and stepped into the other sub-dimension he had formed. At his current level of spatial mastery, he could sustain three separate dimensions simultaneously, housing three independent secret realms within each.

Right now, he stood directly before Evan, who was cluelessly looking around the isolated void.

"Yo," Grey greeted him casually.

"Hello, Brother Grey. It has been a while," Evan replied with a wide, highly nervous smile.

At the same time, the young hero heaved a massive sigh of relief. He genuinely thought he was going to be tortured alive when he was so abruptly teleported away from the tournament stadium.

Grey observed Evan closely. This young man was the destined protagonist of this era. The simple fact that he was alive and kicking meant this universe would not prematurely die out. If Evan perished, the fate of trillions would be at immediate risk.

"Keep up the good work," Grey sighed softly and patted Evan’s shoulder in encouragement.

Then, he plunged his consciousness directly into the mystical necklace hanging around Evan’s neck. The Soul Nourishing Jade containing Xia Qingyue, to be exact.

"Hello, Senior Xia. It is me, your favorite being in the entire starry sky," Grey enthusiastically greeted the ancient jade beauty inside the artifact’s inner realm.

She sat there like a flawless golden immortal, her fair feet dangling in the air. She wore a loose white robe that subtly revealed her exquisite figure as she stared down at Grey.

"I do not have anything to say to you. Go away," Xia Qingyue dismissed Grey with a thoroughly speechless look on her face.

She had actually tried to urgently contact Grey while he was making a massive cosmic commotion with the Dragon Monarch, but he had ignored all of her telepathic notifications like he was swatting away an annoying fly buzzing near his ear.

"Hey, do not be mad," Grey chuckled dryly. "I was a little too busy at that time."

"..." Xia Qingyue’s lips parted to scold him, yet she tightly sealed them once again. "Whatever," she finally said with an icy glare.

"Do not be so cold to me, Senior Xia," Grey said with a playful, helpless look. "Should I give you a tight hug? It has been a while since we properly met, right?"

A profound chill ran down Xia Qingyue’s spine when she heard this. "Stay exactly five meters away from me at all times!"

Grey laughed loudly. He thoroughly loved teasing this ancient senior of his.

"Anyways, let us get straight to the point. I am here to finally bring you out." His tone shifted to something much more serious. "It is time we get you back on your feet. I will personally help you reach the 5th Rank and completely fix your damaged soul."

"What?!" Xia Qingyue’s eyes widened at an alarming rate upon hearing his bold declaration.
