Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 527: Truth of World Tree

Chapter 527: Truth of World Tree

The Spirit was willpower. The ancestor who had reached the great circle had reached a state where his will could influence reality.

He was reality bending with his Willpower!

It was fascinating to say the least.

Then, it begged the question.

"Are you a transmigrator, Spirit Elf Ancestor?" Grey blurted out.

The instant he did, time itself seemed to freeze as the elder turned to Grey.

"What did you just say?" the elder asked with disbelief forming on his face.

"Stopping time with willpower." Grey was even more surprised after seeing this.

"Did the Heavenly Dao not come to get you?" Grey asked in surprise.

"No." The elder shook his head with some suspicion.

"The Heavenly Dao cannot do anything to me while I am near the World Tree since it is an artifact from the Ascendancy Domain."

"Oh." Grey opened his mouth and closed it.

"A being of your caliber, I thought it was a fluke when I heard that you destroyed the Immortal Sovereign, but that isn’t true it seems."

"A fifth rank defeating an eighth ranker. It is unheard of." The elder sighed.

"And that man with you, it’s Alan Benson, right? The man that created the Esper path?"

"Indeed," Grey replied.

"But, you didn’t answer my question. Are you a transmigrator?"

"I noticed some referencing things in this world, like the planet themes and such belonging to old cartoons I watched in my old world."

"Yes." The elder sighed. "I am indeed a transmigrator."

"But the fact that you can recognize this. Does that mean you are one too?"

"I am." Grey nodded silently as his heart skipped a beat.

’Another transmigrator from Earth? He seemed to know about the Ascendancy Domain too.’

This went beyond Grey’s expectations.

"You... How much do you know?"

"Do you want to talk over tea, friend?" the Spirit Ancestor said with a small smile. "I can answer your questions, and in return, I hope you will answer mine as well."

"Sure."

Time unfroze itself as both Grey and the elder acted like nothing happened.

"There is something Senior Spirit Ancestor and I have to talk about. We will be back in a bit." Grey turned to the others and spoke.

The others looked at Grey suspiciously but still let him go with the ancestor.

The Spirit Ancestor’s son and his wife came forward to entertain the others.

He made tea for Grey, and soon they began speaking.

"How long ago did you transmigrate?"

"It was several hundred thousand years ago." The Spirit Ancestor sighed.

"I was a soldier who died in War. When I woke up, I was in this technologically advanced and magical universe where evolvers and races were everywhere."

"But when I woke up, I was born with a new power."

"The power of spirit." The Spirit Ancestor displayed his powers. He waved his hand, and creatures became real.

"The power of spirit is no joke. This was granted to me by the World Tree."

"The Law of Spirit also directly comes from the World Tree."

"The power to manipulate willpower and envelop reality as a whole."

"But willpower should be a common power shared across all of the endless reality, right?" Grey frowned.

"Yeah, about that." The Spirit Ancestor shook his head.

"The World Tree of our world is just part of the real one. It is just a projection."

"According to what I found, the World Tree descended into our world when an Ascendant from the domain accidentally threw out a seed in his farm, and it fell here and took root across the endless reality."

"What?" Grey’s expression darkened.

"It cannot be that, right?" Grey refused to believe it. Such a powerful thing, how could it be something accidentally thrown out from a farm?

"That is what I thought too. But this information," the Spirit Ancestor looked around, "it comes from the tree itself."

"It has sentience."

"Of course, I do not know whether it is real or not."

Grey sighed hearing this.

"What exactly is the World Tree?"

"Well, it is related to Ascendancy Valor," the spirit elder said. "I do not know if you know, but the World Tree contains roughly 999 Ascendancy Valor. It contains that much valor."

"Currently, no one owns the World Tree because it is actually rooted in the center of the endless reality."

"Which is our Earth," the Spirit Ancestor said dramatically, expecting a reaction from Grey, but he only stared at him boredly.

"Spirit Ancestor. I know a lot about that. Please continue what you were saying."

The Spirit Ancestor coughed hearing this.

At the same time, Grey was pleasantly surprised. It turned out this guy knew all about it?

He was a hidden tiger, never showing his face. Grey had checked the records; he had never left his domain for countless years.

"So if this is just a part of the actual World Tree, does that mean we can use this to go to other World Tree areas?" Grey asked curiously. "And is the fact about the World Tree’s leaves being worlds true?"

"Yes... and yes." The ancestor nodded heavily.

"But not in a general sense. The World Tree covers the entire endless reality and has taken root in all of them; hence they are considered leaves of the World Tree."

"But, in all worlds, no matter what, there is a world at the end of its root. It is inaccessible to the Origin Will, and the only way to get into it is by the World Tree itself letting you in."

"This is also the world where several other worlds are connected to."

"Last time I went there, I accidentally slipped into a different universe. There were powerful beings there."

"Speaking of which. That’s also how i chanced upon another Earth Transmigrator."

"There’s more?" Grey was baffled.

"Yes. The fact you know about the paragons and ascendancy domain must make it easier for you to understand. But we have a multiversal organization with just us Earth Transmigrators."
