Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 602: A Familiar Looking Woman?

Chapter 602: A Familiar Looking Woman?

"So I guess our job here is done."

Grey nodded, his gaze calm as he watched the newborn universe expand. "The inconsistencies have disappeared, the universe can finally develop naturally."

Alissa quietly watched the newly born stars, their light flickering like distant candles in the void.

Alan then waved his hand, and Reality Ship appeared once more.

The enormous vessel quietly floated before them, its silver hull gleaming against the backdrop of creation.

The three boarded it.

The hatch slowly closed behind them, sealing away the view of the infant cosmos.

Moments later reality tore open, a rift forming in the fabric of existence itself.

The ship exited the newborn universe.

The moment they left, Grey suddenly narrowed his eyes.

He felt something and once he observed it more carefully, he froze.

Someone was standing outside the universe.

She appeared completely relaxed, as though waiting in the void between realities was the most natural thing in existence. Her long silver hair gently swayed despite the absence of wind.

She wore a flowing white dress mixed with black patterns resembling endless circles, the design seeming to shift and move on its own. She was taller than Alissa, more mature, her features carrying an elegance that transcended mortal beauty.

Her appearance looked strangely familiar.

Alan froze.

"Alissa?"

Alissa herself also froze, her silver eyes widening in disbelief.

"What?"

She instinctively looked toward the mysterious woman, then back at herself.

The resemblance was uncanny, like looking into a mirror that showed the future.

It felt like she was staring at an older version of herself.

Grey immediately became vigilant, his senses spreading outward to assess the situation. Someone capable of standing outside an entire universe could not possibly be ordinary.

The mysterious woman then noticed them.

She casually waved at them with a cheerful look on her face.

"Oh, you guys finally came out."

She walked through empty space as though taking a stroll.

Then without asking permission, she approached Reality Ship directly.

And she walked inside, looking around with mild curiosity.

Her gaze swept across the interior before she nodded approvingly.

"Pretty nice ship."

Grey’s expression became strange, his guard rising even higher.

"Who are you?"

The woman simply smiled, crossing her arms beneath her chest.

"Guess."

Grey quietly observed her hearing this, his eyes settling on her form.

The moment he focused, Chaos Lotus began rotating within his Source.

He realized he could not see her limits, nor her beginning, nor her end. Every observation looped back into itself, creating an endless circle of perception.

[Your comprehension defies the heaven! By observing the state power of infinity, you’ve gained insight into it.]

Like a circle without beginning or conclusion, her very existence defied conventional understanding.

Grey slowly spoke, his voice carrying a hint of realization.

"Ouroboros?"

The woman immediately clapped happily, her face lighting up with delight.

"Ding dong, bingo!" She laughed brightly, the sound echoing through the ship. "Correct."

Silence filled Reality Ship as they all stared at Ouroburos in stunned silence.

Alissa’s thoughts completely stopped, her mouth opening and closing wordlessly.

"Ouroboros?"

Grey kept observing her, his mind racing through everything he knew.

This existence was Infinity itself, the one Finality constantly talked about.

Ouroboros suddenly smiled toward Grey, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

"Not bad, my daughter’s boyfriend really is impressive. You were about to see through me at a glance."

Grey blinked hearing this.

"Daughter?"

Alan frowned hearing this, Master’s girlfriend? He slowly turned his head to face Alissa with twitching lips.

Alissa slowly pointed at herself, her silver eyes wide with disbelief.

"Me?"

Ouroboros nodded enthusiastically, her smile growing even brighter.

"Of course, you are my adorable daughter."

Before anyone could react, she suddenly appeared beside Alissa.

She then hugged her tightly, wrapping her arms around the younger woman without warning.

"My daughter is so cute!"

She rubbed Alissa’s cheeks affectionately, her actions completely ignoring personal boundaries.

Alissa appeared visibly uncomfortable.

"W-What are you doing. Grey..."

Even though she protested, she didn’t feel like forcing this woman away.

It felt like they were connected by something she couldn’t comprehend.

Grey watched everything with a completely blank expression, his mind failing to keep up with the situation.

"..."

Eventually Ouroboros let Alissa go, stepping back with a satisfied expression.

She stretched lazily, her movements graceful despite their casualness.

"I was actually about to force my way inside, but you solved everything yourselves." She shrugged lightly, as though discussing the weather. "So I didn’t have to."

"Senior, what exactly your rank?" Hearing this, Grey asked her.

To do that, you must be insanely powerful and he couldn’t gauge her full power properly either.

Ouroboros looked at her own body, tilting her head curiously.

"This?" She casually pinched her own cheek, as though testing something. "Oh, it’s just a clone."

She paused, her expression becoming thoughtful.

"If my real body came, even I don’t know what would’ve happened."

Everyone silently looked at her, the weight of her words settling over them.

She casually added, waving her hand dismissively.

"This clone only has Eleventh Rank."

Alan almost choked, coughing violently.

"Only?"

Grey silently realized the truth, his expression becoming solemn.

If even her clone possessed Eleventh Rank, then her real body must have already surpassed conventional evolution.

Ouroboros clapped her hands together, the sound sharp and decisive.

"Well, what are we waiting for?" She casually sat in one of Reality Ship’s seats, making herself comfortable. "Let’s go home. Back to Nexus Domain."

Grey sighed helplessly hearing this. "It seems like you’ve been stalking us, Senior."

Ouroboros immediately denied it, her expression innocent.

"I wasn’t stalking, I was observing my daughter."

"That’s literally stalking."

Alan quietly nodded, crossing his arms.

"I agree."

Ouroboros simply laughed, the sound bright and unashamed.

She didn’t deny it nor did she care if they considered it like that.

Reality Ship then changed direction, tearing through countless dimensions.

Passing endless universes, each one flickering past like stars in the night.

Eventually the familiar aura of Nexus Domain appeared.

Alan piloted the ship home.

Reality Ship slowly landed, its hull settling gently onto solid ground.

Melissa and Wang Lin immediately walked over, having sensed Grey’s return. Then they noticed the unfamiliar woman standing beside the group.

Before Grey could introduce her, Ouroboros suddenly raised her hand. She smiled brightly, her eyes gleaming with mischief.

"Greets. I’m Alissa’s mother."

Melissa and Wang Lin both froze in their tracks hearing this.
