Chapter 614: Increase In Power and Paragon Knights
Chapter 614: Increase In Power and Paragon Knights
Grey reached for the Divine Law of Thunder, and the connection to the God World’s fragment blazed to life.
Resonance power surged toward him across dimensional boundaries, the full authority of Divine Thunder merging with his ascended existence, and the amplification hit like a thunderbolt from heaven.
12th Rank First Level!
The universe screamed when his combat power crossed that threshold.
This threshold was something the Main World couldn’t handle.
Reality itself began to crack under the weight of his power.
Space shattered like glass, time fractured into incoherent streams, and the fundamental laws of existence buckled beneath the pressure of his presence.
Grey raised his hand, and with a single thought, the universe restored itself.
The cracks sealed, time realigned, space mended, and the laws of reality snapped back into their proper positions as if nothing had happened.
Grey looked at his hand with wonder.
Space and time felt insignificant now, they were not barriers or rules to be followed but tools, instruments to be manipulated at will.
The entire universe was like a toy in his palm.
Just then world around him froze, and the Origin Will descended.
"It seems like you are now stronger than me now." Origin Will with a sigh.
The unfathomable power from him was really intense.
Grey smiled at her words.
"I suppose I am."
"The gap is not small, my existence cannot sustain your presence for long. If you sneeze, this universe will disappear."
"I know, but I can fix that."
The Origin Will’s form flickered with surprise. "Fix it?"
"What do you think about becoming an 11th plane universe?"
Silence filled the frozen space as the Origin Will seemed unable to process the suggestion.
"I can make it possible," Grey continued calmly. "My current power is enough to elevate your existence. I just need some origin power to fuel the transformation."
"Origin power of that magnitude would require..."
"Stealing from another universe," Grey finished for her. "Or obtaining some from a 12th plane existence. Either way, it’s manageable. Give me a few days."
Before the Origin Will could respond, a communication signal came through, carrying Joestar’s voice with urgency.
"Grey! There is an Emergency!"
Grey accepted the connection and asked. "What’s wrong?"
"There’s a new transmigrator detected, and they’re in your universe! And The Paragon Knights are coming toward your location as we speak, they’re roughly at the 12th rank!"
"Paragon Knights?" He did know a few things about them.
The Paragon Knights, those who served the Paragon himself, the ruler of one of the most powerful factions across the endless reality.
Their presence meant serious trouble for anyone unlucky enough to attract their attention.
"I’ve sent reinforcements," Joestar continued with his words. "Is there any way to hold them back while we arrive?"
"There might be a way," Grey replied. "What are the coordinates of the transmigrator?"
Joestar provided them instantly.
"They’re already there!" Joestar’s voice cracked with alarm. "Grey, be careful, they’re—"
The communication cut off as three figures materialized before Grey.
Their power radiated outward like poison, each one carrying the authority of the 12th rank.
They wore matching armor emblazoned with a familiar crest, the mark of the Paragon Knights, and the leader stepped forward with a sneer visible beneath his helmet.
"Was that the bastard Joestar just now?" He laughed coldly, his eyes sweeping across the universe with contempt. "Seems we interrupted something important. A newly ascended 9th rank?"
Grey’s expression remained neutral. "Don’t you know that entering uninvited is a bad habit? Did your mother not teach you manners?"
The temperature in the space dropped as the Knight’s smile vanished, replaced by cold fury.
"You dare talk about my mother?"
He raised his hand casually, and the universe began shattering. Space cracked, time splintered, stars collapsed into nothing as the Knight’s power swept outward like a wave of annihilation, designed to erase everything within Grey’s domain in a single strike.
Grey’s eyes went cold, and boundless power erupted from his existence.
The shattering stopped, the cracks reversed, and reality rebuilt itself around Grey’s will. His authority crushed the Knight’s attack like it was nothing more than a child’s tantrum.
"You dare enter my territory and try to harm it?"
Grey’s voice carried the weight of absolute authority, and the three Knights stumbled backward with their expressions shifting from arrogance to shock.
"Impossible!" The leader shouted. "You just broke through to 9th, how do you have such powers! You can’t possibly—"
"Nexus Overclock, 500%."
Luminous circuit patterns spread across Grey’s body as his power doubled instantly.
"1000%."
It doubled again, the patterns growing brighter and more complex.
"2000%."
The patterns blazed with blinding intensity, reality itself struggling to process his existence.
"You picked the wrong universe to invade." Grey’s voice came out in overlapped, glitching voice as he fixed his gaze on the intruders.
With those words, he moved as he closed the distance before the leader could react.
BOOM!
Grey’s fist connected with the hastily raised barrier and shattered it instantly, sending the Knight flying backward through layers of dimensional space.
Energy fragments sprayed from the leader’s mouth as he crashed through reality itself, struggling to comprehend what had just happened.
"Dao Shattering Divine Shock."
Lightning crackled across Grey’s body as he vanished from their sight and reappeared before the second Knight, his fist already descending with immense force.
The blow connected, and Divine Thunder flooded into the Knight’s body. he got three hits in rapid succession, each strike leaving traces of invisible Divine Thunder accumulating within the target.
The third Knight attacked from behind, but Grey spun and caught the blow with his bare hand without even looking.
"Too slow."
He threw the Knight into his recovering companion, and Divine Thunder accumulated in both targets simultaneously.
Grey pressed his advantage without mercy, his movements becoming a blur of violence and precision as every attack carried the weight of his 12th rank power combined with the amplification of Nexus Overclock.
The Knights tried to coordinate their defense, but they were too slow.
Grey appeared between them and struck outward with both fists simultaneously, triggering the accumulated Divine Thunder.
Divine Shock State!
Both Knights froze as paralysis seized their physical bodies and Sources alike. Their energy circulation shattered, their ability to use their laws suppressed beneath the overwhelming weight of Divine Thunder.
Grey turned to the leader, who had finally recovered with his expression twisted between rage and fear.
"What are you?" He demanded.
"I’m someone you shouldn’t have provoked." Grey replied with a cheerful smile.
Grey closed the distance in an instant, and the leader’s defenses meant nothing.
His attacks landed in rapid succession, each one carrying more Divine Thunder than the last, and the exponential damage increase of Divine Shock State turned every hit into devastation.
The leader tried to retreat, but Grey didn’t let him.
One final strike sent cracks spreading across the leader’s armor before it shattered entirely. He collapsed to join his companions, all three Knights now lying defeated before Grey.
Grey deactivated Nexus Overclock, the circuit patterns fading from his skin as he looked down at the broken Knights with cold eyes.
"Tell your Paragon that this universe is under my protection. If anyone else comes uninvited, I won’t be as merciful."
He waved his hand, and the three Knights vanished, teleported somewhere far from his domain.
He knew if he killed them, the paragons might just come down here without warning.
Hence, he didn’t do that.
Grey turned his attention to the coordinates Joestar had provided, the transmigrator was waiting.
He stepped through space and disappeared.
