Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 615: The Transmigrator Yang Chen from the Cultivation Planet

Chapter 615: The Transmigrator Yang Chen from the Cultivation Planet

Grey stepped through space and arrived at his destination.

An immortal planet stretched before him, its surface dotted with ancient sects and cultivation clans. Spiritual energy flowed through the air like invisible rivers, and cultivators of various ranks went about their daily lives.

Grey scanned the world with mild curiosity.

This place had no record in the Human Alliance database, yet it clearly existed. The power level was remarkably low, with the strongest expert being a mere 4th ranker. It reminded him of Blue Star before everything changed.

He noticed a few offworlders scattered among the population, people from other planets who had found their way here through various means. But overall, this world remained isolated from the greater starry sky.

Grey followed the coordinates to a large estate bearing the name "Wu Clan" on its gates.

A crowd had gathered in the main courtyard, their voices raised in argument. Grey landed on a nearby rooftop and observed the scene with interest, his presence completely hidden from the mortals below.

Two groups faced each other with obvious hostility.

On one side stood members of the Wu Clan, their robes bearing a flame emblem. On the other side stood cultivators from what appeared to be the Chen Clan, their expressions cold and arrogant.

In the center of it all stood a young man around eighteen years old.

Grey’s eyes flickered with recognition. That was the transmigrator, the one Joestar had warned him about. The young man had sharp features and eyes that carried a depth unusual for someone his age.

"Yang Chen, you dare humiliate our Chen Clan?" An elder from the Chen side pointed his finger accusingly. "Breaking off the engagement was your family’s decision, yet now you have the audacity to show your face here?"

The young man, Yang Chen, stood his ground without flinching. "The engagement was forced upon both parties. Neither I nor your young miss wished for this marriage, so why pretend otherwise?"

"Impudent!"

A young woman stepped forward from the Chen Clan’s side, her face flushed with anger. "You think you can just walk away? My Chen Clan’s reputation is not something a fallen clan like yours can trample!"

Yang Chen’s expression remained calm. "Miss Chen, we both know this engagement was a political tool. Your clan wanted access to my family’s ancient inheritance, nothing more. Now that my clan has fallen, you have no use for me, so why force this farce to continue?"

The crowd murmured at his words, some nodding in agreement while others looked scandalized by his bluntness.

Grey watched with an amused smile.

This was exactly the kind of drama he had read about in countless novels back on Earth. The broken engagement, the fallen clan heir, the arrogant former fiancée, it was almost too perfect.

"You!" The Chen Clan elder’s face turned red with fury. "Since you wish to court death, don’t blame us for being ruthless!"

He raised his hand, spiritual energy gathering in his palm as he prepared to strike Yang Chen down.

Seeing this, Grey moved.

One moment he was on the rooftop, the next he stood between the elder and Yang Chen. His finger flicked casually, and the elder flew backward like a ragdoll, crashing through three walls before finally stopping.

Silence descended upon the courtyard.

Everyone stared at Grey with wide eyes, unable to process what had just happened.

The elder had been a 3rd rank cultivator, one of the strongest in the region, yet he had been swatted aside like an insect.

"Who are you?" The Chen Clan’s matriarch demanded, though her voice trembled. "How dare you interfere in our clan’s affairs?"

Grey didn’t bother responding to her.

"You, how are you able to harm a 3rd ranker so easily?" Another elder stepped forward, his face pale with fear. "What realm have you reached?"

Before Grey could answer, a powerful pressure descended from the sky.

A figure appeared above the courtyard, an old man with white hair and piercing eyes. His aura marked him as a 4th ranker, the absolute peak of power on this world, and he landed gracefully before Grey.

To everyone’s shock, the old man immediately clasped his hands and bowed deeply.

"Greetings, Saint Grey."

The crowd erupted in confused whispers.

"Saint?" Someone muttered. "What does that mean?"

"He called him Grey, could it be..."

The old man straightened and met Grey’s gaze with respect. "I was able to witness your ascension to Sainthood. Every being across the universe saw you at that moment, your image was burned into the very fabric of reality."

Grey raised an eyebrow. "Oh, you know me?"

"Through connections in the greater starry sky, I learned your identity. You are Saint Grey, the one who shook the entire universe with your breakthrough." The old man’s voice carried genuine awe. "News of your ascension has spread across countless star systems, everyone speaks of the young Saint who reached the 5th rank back at the tournament."

Grey smiled at his words. People were still talking about is 5th rank ascension?

He was already at the 9th rank now.

The Wu Clan and Chen Clan members exchanged shocked glances.

12th rank? They didn’t even know what that meant. Their world’s power scale only went up to the 4th rank, anything beyond that was the stuff of legends.

The Chen Clan’s young miss had gone pale, her earlier arrogance completely forgotten.

"Elder Feng, what is happening here?" A Wu Clan elder stepped forward cautiously. "This place is under the jurisdiction of Emperor Zhao, isn’t it?"

Elder Feng, the 4th ranker, glanced at the speaker with a complicated expression. He snapped his fingers, and space itself rippled.

A figure materialized in the courtyard, a middle-aged man wearing imperial robes and a golden crown. The moment he appeared, he fell to his knees before Elder Feng.

"This one greets Senior Feng!"

The Wu Clan and Chen Clan members nearly fainted from shock.

Emperor Zhao, the ruler of their entire region, the most powerful figure they had ever known, was kneeling like a servant before Elder Feng. And Elder Feng himself had bowed to Grey.

The hierarchy of power suddenly became terrifyingly clear to them.

"Deal with the Chen Clan," Elder Feng said coldly. "They dared to cause trouble in my presence."

"No need." Grey waved his hand dismissively. "It’s just a minor struggle, there’s no need to take action over something so trivial."

Elder Feng hesitated but nodded respectfully. "As you wish, Saint Grey."

Grey’s gaze shifted to Yang Chen, who had remained silent throughout the entire exchange. The young man was smart enough to recognize that something far beyond his understanding was happening.

"I’m just here to bring him away."

Grey pointed at Yang Chen, and the young transmigrator’s eyes widened.

"Me?" Yang Chen’s voice cracked slightly. "Why me?"

"You’ll find out soon enough."

The Wu Clan and Chen Clan members could only watch in stunned silence as the reality of the situation sank in. They had thought their little conflict mattered, that their clans held some importance in the grand scheme of things.

Now they understood how small they truly were.

The world stretched far beyond their imagination, and the young man who seemed the same age as their Young Miss standing before them existed at heights they couldn’t even comprehend. Their petty squabbles meant nothing in the face of such power.

Grey grabbed Yang Chen’s shoulder, and they vanished from the courtyard.

They reappeared in orbit above the planet, and Yang Chen gasped as he saw the world shrinking beneath them. Stars stretched endlessly in every direction, the vast cosmos spreading out like an infinite canvas.

"You took me out of the planet?" Yang Chen’s voice trembled.

"Welcome to the real world," Grey said with a slight smile.

Before Yang Chen could respond, the reality tore open in front of them.

A sleek reality ship materialized bearing the emblem of the Helios Corporation. The hatch opened, and familiar faces emerged.

And among them stood Isolde.
