Chapter 693: Using Peerless Thousand Primordial Refinement Art For Evolution
Chapter 693: Using Peerless Thousand Primordial Refinement Art For Evolution
Grey returned to the training room and closed the door, then brought up the information he had gathered about the 11th Rank. The usual paths had twelve stages, but his would only have six.
Other evolvers folded their Inner Universe once with each step. Grey would have to fold it twice before he could count it as a single stage.
It was like folding two sheets of paper together instead of one, except a mistake here could ruin his world. Fewer stages certainly did not mean less work.
The first fold would already make the world far denser, which would make the second fold harder. He also had to keep its quality from falling during the process.
A condensed world had six grades, starting with King and Emperor. Above those came Divine and Transcendent, followed by Peerless and Primordial.
Grey opened a system panel and placed the grades beside the records.
King Grade started at fifty percent purity and refinement, while Emperor reached sixty percent. Divine required seventy percent.
Transcendent reached eighty percent, followed by Peerless at ninety. Primordial required a full hundred percent.
Starting with a Primordial Grade world was not that rare among well-prepared evolvers. Keeping it at that grade through every fold was the difficult part.
Each fold placed more pressure on the world, and mistakes could leave flaws that became harder to fix later. Someone could start at Primordial Grade and finish several grades lower.
Grey imagined doing all that work just to make his world worse.
He would rather avoid that particular achievement.
If he kept its quality at a hundred percent until it became a True World, he would form a Primordial True World. That alone made the extra effort worth it.
Luckily, he already had something that might help.
Grey smiled as he recalled the Peerless Thousand Primordial Refinement Art. He had understood it back in the Milky Way Galaxy of the Nexus Universe and used it for forging.
The method began by heating a material until its structure softened. Rainbow veins would then appear in his vision and show him the right places to strike.
A strike at the right moment could break down and reform the material ten times. Repeating the process allowed him to reach a thousand refinements far faster than ordinary forging.
For those materials, Peerless Grade meant complete purity.
The names used for condensed worlds were different, but the result he wanted was the same. He needed to remove every flaw while making his world denser.
Grey looked toward his Inner Universe and considered how to change the art.
He certainly could not place the whole thing in a furnace.
The people inside had done nothing to deserve having their sky set on fire.
Instead, he needed something that could act like heat without burning anything. His World Force should be able to do that.
It already belonged to the world and flowed through every part of it. If he used it to loosen the world's structure, he could prepare it for refinement without harming what lived inside.
Grey entered the simulation space and created a copy of his Inner Universe. Stars and galaxies filled the model as he added the conditions needed to support its inhabitants.
There were no living people in the copy, but any change that would harm them would still show up.
Grey brought up the refinement art and began adjusting it.
He replaced the use of flames with World Force, then changed the technique so it would work on the structure of a world. Its purpose stayed the same.
First, he had to make the world ready to be reshaped.
Grey sent World Force through the model and allowed it to spread evenly. Under its effect, the deeper structure of the world began to loosen.
It worked much like heat softening metal.
The world began to come apart in a controlled way, but its stars and planets remained in place. The process had prepared its structure for change without breaking the things it supported.
Grey checked the model and found no damage.
That was a good start.
He then used his energy to activate the revised refinement art. Faint rainbow lines appeared across the world in his vision.
Grey examined the nearest one.
It marked a place ready to be refined, just like the veins that appeared in heated metal. The difference was that he would strike it with his energy instead of a hammer.
He waited until the light reached its brightest point and sent a sharp pulse into it.
The rainbow line flashed.
The structure around it broke down and reformed ten times before settling into a denser state. The stars within that region continued moving as if nothing had happened.
Grey checked the result and smiled.
He had not needed to guide every small change himself.
The technique handled the refinement after the strike, just as it did when he forged a weapon. He only needed to prepare the world and hit the right points at the right time.
Another rainbow line appeared nearby, and Grey struck it with a second pulse.
That region became denser too.
More lights appeared across the model as the technique spread. Grey followed them through his vision and sent his energy into each one.
Every successful strike raised the density of the world.
As the resistance grew, the rainbow lights became harder to strike at the right moment. Grey adjusted the strength and timing of his attacks while the art handled the changes within the world.
One strike landed too early, leaving a faint flaw in the model.
Grey stopped and checked what had happened.
The region had not been ready.
He reset that part and let the World Force work through it for a little longer. When the rainbow light appeared again, he waited for the right moment before striking.
This time, the flaw did not return.
"So I still had to pay attention."
Grey chuckled and continued.
The art saved him from controlling every part of the process, but it did not mean he could close his eyes and hope for the best.
He worked through the remaining rainbow lights until the whole model reached the same density. The first fold settled into place without squeezing its stars together or damaging the worlds inside.
Grey checked the system panel.
Its quality remained at a hundred percent.
He began the second fold while the revised art was still active.
The World Force needed more time to prepare the denser structure, and his strikes needed more energy than before. Rainbow light spread through his vision again as the next set of refinement points appeared.
Grey struck them one after another.
Each pulse made the world denser while the technique broke down and reformed the part he had struck. He did not have to stop and rebuild its structure by hand.
That was the main reason this method suited him.
Trying to guide every change across an entire universe would have been a headache.
The final rainbow line brightened, and Grey sent a pulse through it.
The second fold settled into place.
He checked the model carefully and found that its quality had stayed at a hundred percent. Two folds had formed one complete stage without harming the things inside.
Grey grinned as he ran the process again.
The second attempt gave him the same result, and the revised art worked without needing further changes. He saved it before returning his attention to his real Inner Universe.
He was not going to fold the whole thing immediately.
First, Grey guided World Force through a small part of its structure and let it act as the heat. Once that section was ready, he activated the art with his energy.
A rainbow line appeared in his vision.
Grey struck it at the right moment and watched the section become denser. Nothing inside it was damaged, and the technique completed the refinement.
He checked the result before letting the process stop.
It worked.
The 11th Rank was simple in principle.
He would use World Force like heat to loosen and deconstruct the world's structure without damaging it. Then he would use his energy and the refinement art to reveal rainbow lights in his vision.
Each light showed him where to strike.
Every successful strike would refine the world and make it denser, while the technique handled the changes without needing his constant control. He would keep doing that until he completed a fold.
Two folds would form one stage of his path, and six stages would bring him to its peak.
Simple to understand, though the amount of energy needed was another matter.
Luckily, the vanished consciousness had already helped with that part.
Grey smiled as he brought the revised art into focus.
"Perfect, I can take the leap now."
At the Overseer's mansion, Lily stood beside her father talking with him. then, a low sound passed through the building.
The Overseer looked toward the open balcony.
Dark mist had begun spreading across the sky above the city, and several nearby ships were already turning away. A thin crack appeared within the mist and slowly widened.
Guards rushed into the courtyard below, while the other people in the mansion gathered beneath the open sky. Everyone watched the growing crack.
A guard captain hurried onto the balcony and bowed.
"Lord Overseer, the city watch detected a sudden surge above the central district. It is exhibiting 13th rank power and we can detect many."
The Overseer kept his gaze on the sky.
"Activate every defense array pillars and order all troops to prepare for battle."
The captain immediately sent the orders through his communication device.
Across the city, pillars of light rose from the towers and began joining above the streets. Civilian ships moved toward the nearest landing platforms as armed vessels left their docks.
The crack widened into a portal, and black mist poured through it.
Lily stood beside her father with a cold expression. She watched the darkness spread without saying a word.
The Overseer recognized the power coming through and spoke.
"It's the Abyss."
