Chapter 2978: Clues About the Jotunn III

Aurgelmir felt what Adrian told him which made him smile and even stopped his tears that was almost out. Before he breaks down and start crying, Aurgelmir called Adrian directly to his forge. Adrian was about to question Aurgelmir why they were going to the heart of his forge when the former suddenly dipped his hand into the burning magma.

"Are you insane, gramps?! I know that you are immune to the heat and all but my heart will not be able to handle it because it is so sudden. If you are into this kind of thing then you should directly say it to the ice queen and not show me." Adrian stated which made Aurgelmir smack him on the back of his head with the other hand.

When Aurgelmir lifted his hand from the burning magna, a powerful red gem that is emitting powerful fire elemental energy could be seen from it. Adrian gulped as this fire elemental energy was actually purer than the one he encountered in Alfheim and that was the fire elemental energy that creates fire elemental kings. The fact that there is an object that is purer in elemental energy than the ones that created the elementals is insane.

"This is the Fire Elementum. This is the elementum that was created by one of my children the first Fire Jotunn. It is made of condensed Star Flame Energy which is the purest form of fire elemental energy. I will entrust it to you because I know that this will be needed in your upcoming mission to collect them all." Aurgelmir stated as he handed Adrian the Fire Elementum.

Adrian tried to touch the Fire Elementum but he actually got burned when he touched it. This prompted him to find other ways to contain the thing as he will need it to locate the other ones. Just as Aurgelmir hinted, the other elementums will be located using just one of them since all of them are connected together.

"If you cannot contain it then how will you be able to take it? As I thought, it is still very immature for me to hand this over to you." Aurgelmir stated but Adrian suddenly remembered something and pulled it out from his inventory.

Adrian pulled out the item that previously held the elemental energy of the Sigils of the Elements. This incomplete relic is now like a lonely black star that completely loss its brightness since it became incomplete. One cannot even call it a relic because it has no function whatsoever. When Adrian took out this incomplete relic, Aurgelmir looked at him with a shocked expression but he instantly reverted back to his stoic look.

"If you have that then it might actually be possible to contain it. You are once again making me shocked, brat. Take the Fire Elementum and use it to find the other elementums. Report back to me once you have completely collected them all." Aurgelmir stated.

Quest Name: Complete the Starforged Elementum

Quest Difficulty: Transcendent

Quest Description: Aurgelmir has tasked you to collect the other elementums in order to complete the creation relic of the Jotunn. The Starforged Elementum consists of six elementums which represent the different Jotunn of different pure elements.

Clear Condition:

-Collect the Fire Elementum (Completed)

-Collect the Aqua Elementum (Incomplete)

-Collect the Wind Elementum (Incomplete)

-Collect the Terra Elementum (Incomplete)

-Collect the Light Elementum (Incomplete)

-Collect the Noir Elementum (Incomplete)

Clear Reward: Unlock a Special Scenario which involves the Starforged Elementum

Failure Condition: Other elementums are destroyed or lost forever

Failure: Unable to unlock the Special Scenario

Special Perks: The quest taker will have the special ability to detect other elementum when they are in possession of at least one.

Restriction: This quest can only be done and given to someone that has gained 100% trust from Aurgelmir. This quest cannot be shared with others and the rewards cannot be shared to others as well. Only the one that has been given this quest can report the elementum to Aurgelmir. Other parties that submit the elementum on behalf will not be considered as completed.

Adrian immediately gulped when he saw that the quest difficulty was Transcendent which means he will deal with beings on the level of gods in this quest. He did not want to accept it instantly but there was no other way. The moment he accepts the quest will also be the moment where he will have an idea where the other elementums are.

"I accept your quest." Adrian stated and Aurgelmir nodded.

Aurgelmir then took the incomplete relic from Adrian’s hands and then synced the energy of the Fire Elementum to it. As if everything was meant to be, the Fire Elementum started to burn in a white flame before rotating freely on the incomplete relic. Aurgelmir then gave a knowing look to Adrian as if he has already accepted what will happen but he did not voice it out.

"With this, you will be able to detect the general direction where the other elementum are. If you medidate near it then you might be able to receive visions of where they generally are." Aurgelmir stated.

"You are speaking as if you already know where they are. Can’t you just tell me where they are?" Adrian asked as he wanted a shortcut since he is already running out of time since he also received something headache inducing from the shadow corps.

"Even I do not know where the other elementum are but I did use my connection with the Fire Elementum to ascertain that they are not destroyed. Fortunately, the other elementum seem to be safe but that was a long time ago. I do not know of their situation now which is why I have told you all of this." Aurgelmir stated.

"Thanks for this gramps. I appreciate that you are entrusting this momentous task to me but I will need to tell you to not get your hopes up that I can finish this quickly." Adrian stated as he wanted to be perfectly honest that this might take a while and not in a short span of time because the rating for this quest is Transcendent.

"You are really an honest brat. I do not expect for you to finish it in a month or so. What do you think creation relics are?! Just promise me that you will not put yourself in harms way just to complete it. You should live by what you say that moving forward is the best way. You must not be a hypocrite when the words themselves are from you. Now, get going! As I am already sick of your face." Aurgelmir stated as he told Adrian to leave his smithy because he can no longer control his emotions.

"Alright! I am going but make sure to take care of yourself too, gramps." Adrian stated as he opened a portal and returned back to Avalon.

Aurgelmir could be seen having a big sigh of relief as if his entire body has become lighter. He then remembered the quaint memories of the old times when all of his children were still alive. He might not have been very affectionate with them but he looked after them in his own way but then he remembered what Adrian said that he found strange.

"I thought the Daemos are created from the floating chaos and void energy. When did that brat have a mother?" Aurgelmir stated as he did not know that Adrian was actually talking about his real mother.

He no longer pondered over that thought and just gave his smithy one last look. Without the Fire Elementum in his forge, the entire smithy will no longer be functional as before. The heat will not be enough to warm this area and it will be overtaken by the cold sooner or later.

"Elona did promise to make me a forge in her kingdom. I guess, this is the time for me to move on just like that brat has said." Aurgelmir stated as he smiled and closed the door to his hidden smithy.

Meanwhile, Adrian returned back to Avalon with a smile on his face because he got one elementum for free just by listening to the story of Aurgelmir. He thought that it was incredibly easy to get which is why he is suddenly wary about the remaining five. If Aurgelmir did not collect the scattered elementums then this means that he could not do so despite his demigod level strength. Adrian shivered at that thought but he made sure to only think happy thoughts so that his enthusiasm will not falter.

Since no one is looking for him right now, Adrian is basically free from the hassle of others. He then went to the spot near the Tree of Life and Death and proceeded to meditate. He did not waste any time and started to check the locations of the other elementums.
