Chapter 2979: Locations of the Elementums I

Adrian took out the item that is holding onto the Fire Elementum. He wanted to ask Aurgelmir about the details of the item he is currently holding but it seems that he will not say anything unless he gets all of the elementums. The Fire Elementum could be seen swirling on the empty void of the incomplete relic created from the Seal of the Elements.

"He said that all I need to do is resonate with the Fire Elementum and the energy streams will definitely lead me to the next ones that are close." Adrian stated as a branch from the Tree of Life and Death suddenly poked him from the shoulder.

"You have an interesting item, Equinox. Where did you get this from?" Yewdrassil stated as if it only came to see how Adrian was doing for a quick moment.

"It is the incomplete creation relic for the Jotunn or at least that should be the case. I have never really encountered a Jotunn other than Aurgelmir. There have been beings with the blood of the Jotunn in their veins but they are more like the Daemonios and not purely a descendant." Adrian stated.

"It is to be expected that there are no other Jotunn like Aurgelmir alive as of now. They would not be able to live comfortably in this world that has lost some of the elemental energy. The lost of their creation relic made the other Jotunn unstable and they merely became one with the elements. If you were to fix the broken creation relic then you will be able to basically revive them" Yewdrassil stated.

"I see. I hope that you are right. Anyways, why have you come to me? I know that you are usually sleeping right now because you are conserving some of your energy for an event you are not telling me." Adrian stated.

"I am merely trying to save enough so that I can have a decision when that certain time comes. I came to you now because I have a request that I need you to do for me." Yewdrassil stated.

"This is a first. You never really ask of me but you did give me your leaf that cured me from the excess energy of the Void. Tell me, what do you need?" Adrian asked.

"My request actually coincides with what you are doing right now. You are looking for the Elementums that should have already taken forms in this world. I need you to give me just a sliver of their elemental essence once you have all six of them. We shall talk again once you have collected them all but this should help in your resonance with the current elementum you are holding." Yewdrassil stated as it condensed a golden sap and dripped it towards Adrian’s forehead.

Adrian is shocked upon seeing that the Tree of Life and Death just gave him a blessing that surpasses any clairvoyance skill. Given that this is limited and a one-time use, the fact that he will definitely have a vivid look onto where the other elementums are is a godsend. This is basically something akin to an advance on the payment but he is also scared as he always knows where this goes.

"If the Tree of Life and Death is helping me to this degree then this quest is not something that I can take lightly." Adrian muttered as he knows this much aid means a lot of hardships along the way.

"I shall now slumber for a while but you may call unto me should there be any problems along the way. I might not be able to give direct aid but I can at least give a helping advice. I have already started syncing with this world more and more compared to before. With my child rooted and perfectly healthy, I am now receiving more and more information about what is happening in this world after all." Yewdrassil, the Tree of Life and Death, stated as it became silent and steady after a few seconds.

"I will. Thank you and rest for now." Adrian stated as he then looked at the Fire Elementum.

Adrian then proceeded to create a magic circle for the resonance since he himself does not have the ability to directly resonate. He would need to call forth powers from beings born of the elements themselves. It is quite fortunate for him that he has the trust of all the Four Cardinal Divine Beasts and has received their exclusive sigils.

When Adrian helped the eastern continent, the Four Cardinal Divine Beasts actually gave them their exclusive sigil that is said to be special runes that can make the elements resonate around them. If Adrian was actually an elemental mage, then the Four Cardinal Divine Beasts would have directly given them their ultimate blessing but such a thing cannot be given to a demon that cannot call upon the elements.

Instead, they gave these exclusive sigils that contain their authority because they learned that Adrian was a Scribe. In the eastern continent, scribes, charm masters, formation masters and the like all rely on special sigils or runes to create their talismans. This also means that each of the Four Cardinal Divine Beast have their unique sigil that can call upon their authority. He was given the four sigils as a reward for his efforts and he graciously accepted.

"I have never thought that I would use the sigils this way but this would make the magic circle even more stable. I cannot have this island suddenly turn into a flaming inferno after all." Adrian stated as he knows the power of this Fire Elementum.

Even if the Fire Elementum is now the size of a large marble, the power it has is immense because it could make an entire mountain hot inside despite the sheer coldness of the northern continent. Adrian is not taking his chances when dealing with such a powerful artifact as he knows how catastrophic they are. In fact, a lot of reports have been told to him about artifacts being discovered and exploding while taking a town or city along with them.

Adrian carefully created the magic circle using the most premium ingredients he could get. It even cost him about a thousand gold coins just for the special ink. He will not be cheap about this as failing might result in a burning inferno. He placed the preliminary runes that will help with the resonance which is Scrying and Attunement.

The Scrying Rune is useful because it will help him visualize the general area where they are. The Attunement Rune is basically the rune that handles the resonance between him and the item. He then followed up by creating an outer magic circle that ties extremely well with the initial one. This outer magic circle has the Magnify Rune in old ancient text to make it even more powerful.

"It is not done." Adrian stated as he proceeded to create an even more convoluted outer magic circle that tied the first one.

As soon as he placed the initial runes, a powerful backlash could be felt from his mana channels. The magic circle is actually trying to resist his will but he did not let it be. He pushed through using and burning up more of his energy than usual. He was now using three times as much energy compared to when he created the other two magic circles.

Adrian gritted his teeth and first created the symbol of the White Tiger of the West. As soon as he finished the exclusive sigil, a powerful force slammed towards Adrian’s body which made Sirius come out from the shadows and protect him. Sirius then howled to call for the other siblings and they all came running towards Adrian’s direction.

"Protect the master." Sirius stated and all of them nodded.

Adrian did not say anything to them but his smile and nod were enough to convey his thanks. The soulbounds are now wrapped around Adrian as he attempted the next exclusive sigil. He proceeded with the sigil of the Azure Dragon of the East. Upon completing the sigil, a powerful lightning suddenly came shooting down to his location.

Kimat jumped to the skies and easily devoured this lightning as if he took a snack. There was no wave of energy that slammed towards Adrian this time around but the pressure in the magic circle has doubled. Adrian knew that he needed to hurry or else he will just prolong his suffering. He felt that he might not complete the magic circle if he does not push himself.

"I can do this! Just two more!" Adrian thought to himself as he gritted his teeth and started to draw the third exclusive sigil.
