Chapter 2981: Locations of the Elementums III

The golden flames did not hurt Adrian but activated he magic circle and his entire soul is suddenly pulled into the heart of the ley lines. His brain would have been overloaded if not for the fact that he had the Fire Elementum as a guide. If he used the World Resonance Magic Circle without the Fire Elementum then his head would have literally turned to mush because of the information that would have flooded into him.

At the very heart of the ley lines, Adrian is seen covered in golden flames as five elemental worlds could be seen around him. This is what Adrian feared the most as items of great power tend to mutate depending on their surroundings. The fact that the five other elementums have awakened and created areas for them to reside is the reason why the difficulty is at the level of a Transcendent.

The five elemental worlds are filled to the brim with pure elemental energy that is actually much purer than the sigils released by the world tree. Seeing that he needed to check each one of them anyways, Adrian decided to go with the one that is closest to him. The Aqua Elementum World which is created from the aqua elementum. With just a touch of his finger, Adrian’s entire consciousness is sent to a vast underwater world.

The place was dark and deep as if the world’s waters was pressing down hard on him. If he did not know this is all an illusion shown to him then he might have drowned there. If he also has fear of deep waters then he might have passed out but that is the not the thing that worries Adrian the most. He looked back and felt the presence of a powerful being looking down at him.

An enormous shadow of a divine being that is comparable to that of a High God could be seen looking at him. Adrian did not falter as his soul could bear this pressure since he has experience with gods more powerful than the being before him. The enormous divine being just looked at him without saying anything as if he already knew that doing something to him would be useless since he is not there.

"It might be an illusion but I think I can do this." Adrian stated as he created a Mythical Tier magic circle called Location Lock.

[You have received the coordinates of the Aqua Elementum’s location.]

The enormous shadow of the divine being that is hidden with ocean water could be seen visibly shocked. It then tried to reach out its hand towards Adrian but the latter merely bowed to show respect for their divine. Adrian knew that his words will not reach the shadowy being as his voice does not travel with the ley lines.

"I shall greet you when the time comes. Please be at ease as I do not show any hostility." Adrian stated and mouthed his words correctly and vanished from the spot.

Adrian is then pulled back to the center of the world’s ley lines and the light coming from the aqua elementum’s world has vanished. It means that he has exhausted the power of that ley line to some degree and it needs to recharge. He did not need to tap into it anymore since he has already taken note of the coordinates.

"The coordinates are basically negative in height. It is really deep in the ocean as expected but I really wished it was not." Adrian grumbled but he cannot do anything about it and just moved to the next elementum world.

Adrian touched the Wind Elementum world and is transported using a vast number of hurricanes. He is sent to a place hidden in the highest skies of the world where thunderstorms and huge hurricanes are common. It felt like he was transported to a dungeon hidden in the skies and clouds which would not be strange. If he believed that his islands can have dungeon then the clouds in the skies are not out of the question.

Like with the aqua elementum, a being could be seen guarding the wind elementum as well. This being was a large bird with storm black feathers and an elongated beak. The tips of its wings had white highlights that actually carried lightning with each flap of its wings. Adrian tried to look for the wind elementum and actually sensed it directly inside of the bird monster.

[You have received the coordinates of the Wind Elementum’s location.]

When Adrian used the spell, the bird monster that did not notice him suddenly screamed but he cannot hear anything anyways. All Adrian could see is that the bird monster screamed and released terrifying hurricanes and lightning to his location but nothing really happened to him. The monster has the same strength as a Greater God but it does not have the strength of a High God.

"If it was a high god then I would have been slightly afraid as they have the ability to pierce through the veil of dimensions if they tried. I could have gotten attacked by the divine being with the aqua elementum earlier but I am thankful that he was at least benevolent." Adrian muttered as he is once again sent back to the center of the world’s ley lines.

Just like what happened with the previous one, the light coming from the Wind Elementum World has vanished. The ley line that Adrian tapped into has somewhat lost energy and could no longer aid him in his search. He already got the coordinates for the wind elementum and it did not move at all which means it really is inside a dungeon.

Adrian then touched the next elementum which is the Terra Elementum and he suddenly felt his soul drop down from a deep hole. The feeling of falling down was not pleasant to experience but he is sent to a place deep in the earth where rocks harder than diamonds form. He is sent to an actual place inside of the world itself that might be hidden from being too deep underground.

He then turned around to see a large pulsing crystal made of pure earth elemental energy. This was definitely the Terra Elementum that has become some sort of heart that powers this realm. He does not know if there are other monsters here but he could feel it was not empty. It seems that whoever is residing in the area is hiding or is merged with the surroundings.

[You have received the coordinates of the Terra Elementum’s location.]

Adrian waited if there was a reaction from the area when he used the locator spell but there was nothing. He also got negative values in the height from the coordinates which means this place is really deep into the ground. It is also located in the western continent which means he would need to travel there to even get to this place.

Seeing that there is nothing else, Adrian’s soul vanished from the area. When Adrian’s soul left, a large mouth emerged from the rocks that was camouflaged as stalactites. A being that looked heinous and contained wings, fins, and scales made of rock appeared. This being had a distorted human face with sharp teeth and it coiled around the Terra Elementum as it started to absorb its energy.

Adrian returned back to the center of the world’s ley lines once again and light from the Terra Elementum world has vanished which means he also exhausted the ley line. He did not waste anytime and instantly jumped into the next one and touched the Light Elementum world which was a mistake. He should have prepared himself because his eyes were filled with immense bright light as soon as he touched it.

"I almost became blind!" Adrian commented as his eyes could be seen slowly recovering from the sudden flashbang.

When he opened his eyes, he could be seen in a place filled with nothing but light. He thought this was strange but the sleeping entity hiding in his body actually recognized it. Light, who became quiet for quite a long time, suddenly awakened. Light could travel with Adrian’s soul since their contract is tied to the soul hence it could appear with Adrian in the ley lines.

"My body is here. At least most of it!" Light stated which made its soul tremble.

Adrian always thought that Light’s body simply fused with a star or something which is why it proved difficult finding parts of itself but this location is basically where most of its body is hidden. This means that he might finally complete Light’s body or at least most of him if he enters this place.
