Chapter 2980: Locations of the Elementums II

The third sigil that Adrian started to create is none other than the Sigil of the Black Tortoise of the North. Upon completing the sigil, Adrian’s own energy suddenly started to get chaotic and fluctuated greatly. The fact that his own energy, which he has always had perfect control, is suddenly spiraling out of control does not bode well for him.

It is not just his energy spiraling out of control but also the energy of coldness and death seeped out of the sigil that he drew. As if his soulbounds were already waiting, Charon absorbed everything in his chains which are connected to another dimension. The coldness and death energy that was supposed to attack Adrian has been nullified which helped him to slightly course through the pain.

Adrian gave a warm look at his soulbounds as they were helping him without him commanding them. It only means that he has already maximum affection from all of his soulbounds and that they will unconditionally follow him with their lives. This is what summoners should strive for as they should be respect and love between both parties.

Adrian did not stop for long as he immediately pushed through the next sigil which is the sigil of the Vermillion Bird of the South. With just one stroke, a powerful fire pillar suddenly shot up in the air. Fortunately, there was no one flying at the time which means there would be no roasted demon or any other roasted being.

Seeing the immense flames rise up from the magic circle, Saena became the one that stepped in as she stood on top of the magic circle. Adrian then proceeded to continue creating the sigil and each stroke released a powerful flame vortex. The flames would sometimes go up or even the sides but Saena made sure that all of the flames will be redirected through her. In fact, Adrian noticed that each flame that Saena is bathe in has purified her bloodline but he did not focus on it too much because his nose started to bleed.

Adrian suddenly felt his organs screaming but that is just his energy or mana channels in his body becoming strained. The immense energy being poured from his body plus him using some of his own energy to protect himself is finally taking such a heavy toll. Even the body of a demon that is incredibly sturdy will definitely feel the burden when it is too much.

The soulbounds did not bother their master as they need to trust him. Some really did want to jump in and save him like the two younger ones since Adrian spoiled them. Wisteria easily bound the two so that they do not bother their master. The two younger ones thought that the other soulbounds was making their master die but the looks on the latter’s faces told them the opposite.

The older soulbounds believe in their master and that they know that he will pull through. It might look impossible and unforgiving now but their master is someone that pushes through even if it means death. Their master would rather die trying than be ashamed of not doing it at all. Seeing the dedication on the faces of their older siblings, the two younger ones settled down and a last blast of flames in the shape of a phoenix shot up into the sky.

The phoenix shaped flame was none other than Saena absorbing the last powerful blast of energy that the sigil of the Vermillion Bird of the South has released. It was so powerful that she needed to use all of her body to mitigate it but it also became very useful to her. The last bit of energy that she absorbed has fully purified her body.

The beautiful white feathered body of Saena is now sparkling white as if a pure white star has descended onto her. Her own body glistens without her even doing anything and her rainbow feathered tail has grown longer than ever. It seems that there are other ways to improve monsters besides evolution.

"I finally completed it." Adrian stated as his nose bled and he also wiped the blood on his mouth.

Adrian finally rested and dropped to the ground to catch his breath. Most of his energy has been used up and the process cost more than creating the dungeons in the territory. He once again pushed himself to the fullest but it all paid in the end. It also came with a price as his own energy channels are slightly deteriorated which means he needs to rest up.

"Everything hurts. I really should not do this as it makes me look like a masochist." Adrian muttered as he now looked at the magic circle.

Just as he was about to fully activate the magic circle, a powerful energy shot up into the sky once more but it is different compared to the other ones before it. The condensed energy of all four sigils gathered at once and pierced the skies above. A golden ray of light then shone and a golden dragon made of energy came descending towards Adrian.

The dragon was not emitting pressure on all of the beings in Avalon but only towards Adrian. He was already tired and down but this energy construct was actually trying to kill him. Seeing that his master cannot repel the pressure easily, Kanlaon finally swirled to the skies as his body that is actually as big as an island when curled up met with the golden dragon energy construct.

The Genesis Dragon confronted the energy construct made from the combined energies of the Four Cardinal Divine Beasts. A golden dragon made of flesh and a golden dragon made of energy slammed against once another in a fierce clash of wills. Kanlaon’s dragon roar was heard throughout the skies and it even reached the sleeping ancient dragons of the world. They actually heard the roar of a dragon that might have the possibility to ascend to pure dragon godhood.

Kanlaon descended with some wounds on his body but he neutralized the threat that came towards Adrian. If one looked closely at Kanlaon, his golden scales became even more shimmering than before. His eyes also have grown in depth as if he aged a thousand years and is filled with immense wisdom. Sirius could see that his younger sibling seemed to have gained some insight on how to become even stronger.

[The World Resonance Magic Circle has now fully stabilized.]

"Thank you, everyone. It seems that I became successful with your help." Adrian stated as Saena then hugged him to burn away his injuries.

The healing flames that Saena released did heal his body but the energy he depleted and the damaged energy channels will not be healed as only time can do so. Still, Adrian thanked Saena for healing him as the thought is what counts after all. He could really feel that his soulbounds really do love him.

"Keep guard for me as I will now enter the magic circle. This magic circle can only be used once and only for a day. I need to get as much information about the locations of the other elementums as much as I can." Adrian stated and the soulbounds hugged him before they surrounded him in a circle to protect him.

Adrian smiled as he went inside the World Resonance Magic Circle and placed the Fire Elementum at the center of it. As soon as he placed the Fire Elementum, the magic circle activated and released golden flames on the actual lines. This means that the magic circle is now activating without any problem.
