Chapter 3043: Secret Files: Mysteries of Avalon

The chat that was lively suddenly became quiet because they thought that their guild leader would at least be a Two-Star Demigod with Ascension Experience that is about to reach the next star level. Little did they know that their very own guild leader has already skyrocketed to the three-star demigod level when even the Rank 1 player named Hou Yiwei is only a Two-Star demigod. If their guild leader did not hide his level from the leaderboard then his name would definitely be at the very top.

Adrian proceeded to check the items that he has received from the completion of the forbidden zone dungeon but he also needed to check if it is not tampered with. He needed to make sure that no divine entity would be able to spy on him if he ever activates it. He decided to create a scanning magic circle in the guild house for the moment.

Meanwhile, Adrian did not know that Avalon actually has its own forum. There are many threads in the forums but the most bustling but also respectful one is called the Secret Files: Mysteries of Avalon. This forum is different from the rest as it is one where gossip and even ghost stories inside the game are stacked.

[Anonymous 1: Is it just me or there is a beautiful but ghostly woman always arising from the waters of the temple in one of the islands in Avalon. I saw the figure once when I was out when it was night time when the temple was off limits.]

[Anonymous 2: Ey! Undead are real in Pandemonium and the Prince of the Undead is one of the members of Pantheon guild. Maybe it was just one of the undead knights of the Prince of the Undead.]

[Anonymous 1: I know an undead when I see one! I am an undead myself! I can perfectly see in the dark but the presence of that woman was clearly not that of an undead! I will stake my bones in it.]

[Anonymous 3: What is the use of a ghost water woman story when there is an influx of beautiful NPCs coming to Avalon? I am so jealous because some of them are even couples! The most interesting thing is that the Daemos Corps and even the Elven Elders are clearly avoiding them.]

[Anonymous 4: You mean those couples that has those design aesthetic? One looks like an undead knight while one looks like a goddess that was born from a flower. I even asked them once about their armor and such. Do you know what happened to the guards near me when I did that?]

[Anonymous 4: All of them were scared stiff but they were all looking at me like I was about to be erased from existence. I do not know why they acted like that but the NPC couple were really kind and even answered me. They said that all of their clothes were customed made by a very skilled blacksmith that is at least a demigod.]

[Anonymous 1: Damn! Those NPCs are rich as hell! I did not think that Avalon would have NPCs that have that kind of money just walking about. They might be demigods posing as normal people which is why the guards were tense when you suddenly asked them.]

[Anonymous 2: If they actually took offense to what you did then you would have been killed on the spot which is why they were nervous for you.]

[Anonymous 5: What if they were actually gods?]

[Anonymous 1: HAHAHAHA!]

[Anonymous 3: LOL!]

[Anonymous 2: Gods would not walk in Avalon like they were normal NPCs! They have better things to do than to blend in. All of the gods that I have encountered in other areas are blatantly flaunting their divine aura. You can immediately tell if they are a god at first glance because they need the faith of people to become stronger.]

[Anonymous 4: Only demigods hide their auras in fear of getting targeted by other demigods. The only demigod that does not fear other demigods would be the Noblesse which are all demons. The other demigods hide their divine energy because their life is a constant target from others based on the reports.]

[Anonymous 1: Also, there is actually a gossip in the circle of players chosen by the gods that they were told to avoid Equinox. If the gods themselves are saying that they need to avoid someone then there would definitely not be gods in Avalon. We already have the statues in the Temple of Night.]

[Anonymous 2: I am still a big fan of Guild Leader Equinox though! He created a teleportation gate that leads to the northern continent. Even if the price is ten gold per transfer, it is still something that beats the conventional ways of traveling there.]

[Anonymous 6: Everything is connected via land anyways because of the changes in the world. Still, what you say is true because it is a very convenient. The Valkyries even visit Avalon because of it and sometimes have spar with the other Daemos. They are basically beautiful women warriors that you can only look from afar because of their terrifying fighting skills.]

[Anonymous 1: Someone kick the person above! This is not the Valkyrie Appreciation Thread! This is about mysterious sightings of people in Avalon that are not the norm.]

[Anonymous 6: Sorry! I just thought of that because someone mentioned the northern continent but I also have an entry. Do you all know the hearth that is lit up during night at one of the squares?]

[Anonymous 5: All of us know that because that is a place where one could recover stamina quickly and it is only available during the night.]

[Anonymous 2: What is strange about that location? It is always in view of the people. Do not tell me that you think that the hearth is haunted or something?]

[Anonymous 6: No! It is not haunted but there is always this strange teenage girl sitting in front of it and tending to it. I asked around but all of the guards are saying that they do not employ someone to tend to it.]

[Anonymous 6: It is not like that! I might not brag about it but I am actually a champion of a lesser god. I actually felt divine energy from that girl! I tried to ask her once but she would suddenly vanish when I get close to her.]

[Anonymous 5: But what if that was really a goddess and we reported an innocent person? I mean, there was a major fuss once at Avalon when an Anubis actually visited. They are the gatekeepers and guards of Limbo, right?]

[Anonymous 2: Here he goes again with the god stuff. Remember that an Anubis is not a god and they also said that they are not one when asked in Limbo. They could be said to be fragments of a god but they can be considered demigods.]

[Anonymous 3: Yeah! The reason they can come to Avalon is because one of the rumors about Equinox has been confirmed.]

[Anonymous 4: You mean the rumors that he is the Ruler of Limbo? I think it was one player that asked about it. He already got lots of familiarity with one of the Anubis and asked the name of the ruler. The Anubis said that the ruler of Limbo is named Equinox.]

[Anonymous 1: They might just have the same name as our idol guild leader.]

Meanwhile, Adrian was heading towards the guild house when he was stopped by a crying elf and a sweaty demon corps member. They rushed towards Adrian in a hurry as if they were losing their minds.

"Lord Equinox! Please tell the God Hades and the Goddess Persephone to at least send word when they are going to visit! A lot of mortals come up to them and talk as if they are familiar with them. My heart cannot take it if they get offended." The sobbing elf stated.

"They know the rules so it will not come to that. Just let them be and just turn a blind eye just like usual." Adrian replied.
