Chapter 1751: A Lukewarm Welcoming; Exposed Sages

"There he is! The Neo-Dawn Alchemic Saint!"

"He came! HE CAME!"

"Little Yu, this is your opportunity. You must display all your talents during this time and obtain the attention of those godly existences. Then, and only then, can you ascend to the heavens with one step!"

The Minor Elysium's arrival via the rainbow bridge was impossible to miss. Some were incredibly excited by the attendance of the Neo-Dawn Alchemic Saint, especially after the blessing bestowed onto the Tiny Heart Starfield's Utmost Purity Tower that got almost every alchemist feeling envy or desire.

While Wei Wuyin was a foreigner, he was the best type. In the eyes of many, he was a fortuitous encounter waiting to happen, whether they were talented young men, gorgeous young women, or old folks that have reached an end on their path. A single good thought, unhindered by the complexities of relations and selfishness, and their entire futures could be molded into something wonderful.

When the rainbow bridge slowed down just a few tens of thousands of miles away, dissipating soon after, revealing the Minor Elysium, countless breaths were halted. Wei Wuyin stood at the bow of the ship, his Alchemic Stars of Unparalleled Creation emulated the appearance and aura of the Alchemic Stars of Transcendent Purity, while the four Sages stood behind him, and near him was none other than Yue Songli, Cao Cuifen, Qing Qiumu, Liu Suyin, Luo Ning, Wei Si, Young Master Shang, and Ming Shufeng.

They formed an extraordinary group, as the four Sage's auras, especially Pakhet, were on full display, announcing their presence. Meanwhile, the Minor Elysium had taken on the seven colors of the Alchemic Dao and painted a beautifully majestic spiritual image of seven-colored stars revolving on its hull. Displayed on the flowing mast was the majestic insignia of the Neo-Dawn Empire!

To the world, this was the vessel of an alchemist! And not just any alchemist, an alchemist that openly declared himself as an up-and-coming Heavenly Saint Alchemist! Shortly before, no one knew much of Wei Wuyin. But now, there weren't many who didn't know of him!

"There it is," Cao Cuifen voiced with a smile. The planet Blessed Knight stood before them in all its glory, awaiting their arrival in anticipation. She was no longer ignorant of worldly matters and had a solid idea of Wei Wuyin's reputation, status, and value within the Utmost Purity Galaxy. There was a heavy touch of pride in her heart.

Qing Qiumu had become increasingly worldly as well, her horizons continuously expanded as she traveled with Yue Songli and Wei Si. They explored and met all sorts of individuals, both experts and ordinary folks. It was a liberating experience to have such extraordinary freedom. Moreover, she always felt Wei Wuyin's presence, so she never felt as if she was alone, and this soothed any lingering trauma within her heart.

Yue Songli was almost vibrating in excitement as her eyes sparkled. She was teeming with anticipation as she held Wei Wuyin's hands.

Young Master Shang was uncharacteristically sober without a wine flagon in sight. There was a solemn light flickering intermittently within his gaze as he keenly observed the planet that had appeared before them, gloriously beautiful and bearing a strong resemblance to a world he was overly familiar with. "It really does look like…" He muttered to himself in a near-silent, indistinct whisper.

Wei Si was like a curious child. With his beady eyes, he looked at the various vessels docked in the void and the nearby planets that were filled with those unqualified to directly participate in the grand trifecta of an event.

Ming Shufeng was vigilant and on the lookout for any potential cultivators blessed with heavenly fortune, while simultaneously presenting herself with an air of great mystery as her hood hid her face to an extent under a concealment formation. She was putting on the airs of a supreme figure's seer with much effort. It wasn't useless either, as her fate aura was already allowing others to notice her amongst the outstanding group standing before four Sages.

Wei Wuyin glanced at the void surrounding Blessed Knight. This planet was quite fascinating, especially the surrounding formations and overall array that it acted as the core. If he had to guess, even ordinary Sages would find it difficult to cause trouble or breach it after its defenses were erected.

With his Celestial Eyes, he could already sense the aura of several Sages on the planet. What shocked him was that there weren't just three, but there were six Sages. The oddity, however, was that two of them had exceedingly profound concealment spells circulating at the moment, and their worldly auras didn't fit the innate characteristics of a Utmost Purity Galaxy's native.

They were as foreign as he was.

'It seems the situation is already starting off complex,' Wei Wuyin thought to himself. Sages were peak existences in many ways, especially if those at the Resonant Soul Realm were excluded. This was especially true since ascending to the True Soul Phase didn't outright grant a boost in strength, but a fundamental change in accessible energy and forces, and this could translate to greater strength.

For example, Pakhet was far stronger than the average Enlightened Sage due to her Major Authority!

As Wei Wuyin's eyes scanned the planet and the worlds around him, he noticed there were more than just concealed Sages, but cultivators of various upper levels of the Mystic Ascendant Realm were gathering under various concealments that exuded false auras of their cultivation bases, portraying themselves as starry-eyed Soul of Mysticism or Demi-Mortal Lords. Essentially, harmless cultivators to these great factions.

He immediately found another Sage hiding within a nearby planet's mountain while executing a spell to remotely monitor the situation without giving away their location or existence. Of course, before Wei Wuyin's Celestial Eyes and its Soul Perception, nothing could escape his gaze. So three concealed Sages, with the third with a greater degree of concealment while hiding nearby.

As all eyes focused on them, it didn't take long before the Knightly Dao Pavilion sent an envoy to act as an escort. She flew forward at a steady yet extraordinary speed, her mystic aura deliberately kept from flaring wildly mid-flight as if wanting to avoid any misunderstanding. It was an older woman, perhaps visibly in her late thirties, and carried a heroic, staunchly valiant demeanor with her light armor and robes, all bearing the insignia of the Knightly Dao Pavilion which was a black and gold great helm with an arming sword etched on its right cheek and a kite shield etched on its left.

Her cultivation was at the Heavenly Saint Phase, classifying her as an Original Magistrate, and her identity was easily discernible. She was the Shield-Bearing Vice-Pavilion Master of Pavilion Master Shang and also his 613th wife—Qin Liangyu!

There was also the Sword-Bearing Vice-Pavilion Master, and he was an in-law of one of Shang Liu's descendants who was far, far down in terms of the familial tree with thinly connected roots. This was unlike Shang Wanqing who was his actual daughter, and the last descendant that he intended to have in this long lifetime of his.

Unless, of course, he entered the Resonant Soul Realm, obtaining a far-reaching lifespan!

Qin Liangyu stopped a few miles away from the Minor Elysium and bowed, "Worldly-Saint Neo-Dawn, on behalf of the entire Knightly Dao Pavilion, I welcome you!" Her voice boomed through the void as a spiritual wave.

Cao Cuifen's eyes narrowed. She felt this type of welcoming was exceedingly lukewarm and underwhelming. She half-expected the Knightly Dao Pavilion to get all their members to bow with an announcing greeting. Moreover, she didn't think this was too overboard at all.

After all, Wei Wuyin was a Worldly Saint Alchemist with four Sages in his entourage, who were subtly in control of two, maybe three, galaxies, and possessed an unsettling degree of personal strength. She was fully aware that even eight Sages couldn't handle him.

She wasn't one to feel too arrogant, but she genuinely felt this greeting lacked sincerity and was worse than some of the greetings she had while simply traveling to challenge various cultivators. And she wasn't wrong.

Wei Wuyin also found that this was a little awkward. Perhaps it had something to do with the prophecy?

He acknowledged Qin Liangyu's greeting lightly. There was not much else to do, and then he commented with an airy smile, "I must say, for the Knightly Dao Pavilion to be able to invite seven Sages, that's an astonishing feat. I can't wait to meet them all." His voice was loud, spreading throughout the entirety of the Essence Sword Starfield.

"..." Qin Liangyu's expression was baffled.

"...!" The two hidden Sages were instantly stunned.

"!!!" The concealed Sage in the mountain violently trembled. They instinctively reinforced their concealment spell as if seeking to hide further, burying themselves in obscurity.

"...What do you mean, World-Saint Neo-Dawn?" Qin Liangyu was genuinely surprised. They could, at most, invite three, and each of them had heavy connections to the pavilion, while the fourth was a friend of Zai Yingwen, the Avenging Heart Sage. Where did the other three come from? Even if Wei Wuyin hadn't overly excluded his own Sages, that would still be eight! Not seven!

There was no way she thought Wei Wuyin couldn't count properly, so her confusion was legitimate.

Wei Wuyin chuckled as if not caring about her curiosity, "We shouldn't keep Pavilion Master Shang waiting. Lead the way." His words shook Qin Liangyu out of her confused state, and she revealed a diligent expression. "Thank you for our benevolent consideration of my husband's time. Please, right this way."

The Minor Elysium made its way toward the palatial continent under the varied gazes of countless existences.

The most extreme gaze was the Sage hidden within the mountain. There was shock, disbelief, fear, uncertainty, and heavy contemplation.

As for Shang Liu, he was just as confused by Wei Wuyin's remark. What seven Sages? Were there three others hidden? His eyes flashed with a light of vigilance. However, what would have likely elicited the interference of the Heavenly Daos to instill ideas of dismissal toward such a careless comment did not come. Instead, the seed was planted within Shang Liu's mind, and it wasn't going away. It was expanding, festering, and…

When an Empyrean interferes, not even the Heavenly Daos assists.

The bias of the Heavenly Daos!
