Paragon Of Sin

Chapter 1957 Chapter 1949: A Spear Out Of Time

Chapter 1957 Chapter 1949: A Spear Out Of Time

A hazy mist shrouded the Neo Zenith Tower. It silently stirred, absent of any truth that could be gleaned by prying eyes. Within the palatial structure designed after the Original Dawn Palace, a primal goddess-like woman slowly awakened from her deeply satisfying slumber. A type of slumber that she hadn't experienced since her mortal years, where she felt safe, secure, and warm.

Within her was another unconscious young woman. Pulled out of the stream of time, the focus of a grand temporal heist for her continued life, the young woman was fully immersed in the source origin of the Major Authority of Metal Law. When calculations were performed by the Heavenly Daos, attempting to locate her missing soul from the cycle of reincarnation, the heavens were able to give an accounting.

She was within a vessel, a mere fragment, of the authoritative presence of a Heavenly Realm of Law, imbued indirectly into the inner workings of the world. Completely accounted for, the only remaining task left was to distort causality and imprint reincarnation upon her soul before acceptance by the world.

By the World.

The entire process was systematically performed, step-by-step, dao-by-dao, and while countless cultivators have been able to avoid the River of Time's Paradoxical Correction, few could avoid the near omnipresent eye of the Heavenly Daos. And of those mighty few, they were at a level where the Heavenly Daos' will and punishments were as impactful as an infant's shrieking cries-annoying.

Without any infractions on the River of Time's authority, accounted for by the heavens, the young woman pulled out of time, given new life, had only a single obstacle left to overcome.

A departed soul MUST go through the process of samsara before being allowed back into the world. This was an unchangeable rule, any violators were sinners, and any souls found guilty of doing so would have a tragic fate ahead of them.

Wei Wuyin was able to perform this experimental heist brilliantly, leveraging his profound understanding of time and the Void to beautifully avoid the River of Time's anger and interference at every step, from keeping himself distant from the heist's affairs, to using a physical unliving replica of the young woman to take her place to be mourned and buried, and using Pakhet, someone beneath the Resonant Soul Realm yet in possession of a Major Authority of Law's source, while devouring all the excess paradoxical energies and simultaneously limiting his own footsprint.

There were more tiny, deeply intricate details that Wei Wuyin had performed alongside those, but the overall gist was that the young emperor had done something that hadn't been achieved by two Mystic Ascendants since the dawn of creation: Saved a life that was gone for decades.

Even if Pakhet sought to use Temporal Reversion, supported by the Major Authority of Time, the lifespan and soulspan requirement from the Mystic Dao to facilitate that action would barely reach a decade before she died in abject failure. At most, rejuvenating the corpse by a few years.

Affecting causality was difficult due to the soul component, much of which has already been shifted into Hell by this point, entering a domain that the Mystic Dao has to involve itself with. The cost was excessively high due to this, and that was with the unrestrained support of a major fragment of the Heavenly Law of Time's power!

The young woman had died; her soul was claimed by the Heavenly Daos', shuttled through the process of Samsara, and its absence was apparent, not just by the Heavenly Daos, but by Hell itself. She was an inconsistency in the cycle!

While she could reside safely in the metaphysical manifestation of a Heavenly Realm's source origin, allowing her Existential Framework, and her Existential Thread of Quintessential Self, to be kept within akin to the process by which Wei Wuyin enforced servitude on Kang Min-ji, and thereby avoid any recall or scrutiny, her soul presence would be sensed by many unseen entities as an aberrant existence.

The World may come, similar to Su Mei's situation, to halt her from advancing or thriving within the world of the living. She simply...should not be here. Only the River of Time was indifferent to this, the causality of her death remained the same by Wei Wuyin's careful planning of substitution, so even if she appeared in the far future, even a billion years later, it was irrelevant to its duties.

However, while this was the final obstacle to overcome, it was the very first piece that was considered in the conception of this grand heist of life by Wei Wuyin.

Back when he initially advanced to the Second Level of the Mark of Mystic Myth, Wei Wuyin had awakened the first of many Bloodline Abilities for the Second Level, and when he tested it out, he was rather hesitant to use it again. After discovering its power, he was stunned by its effects, feeling as if his True Void Dragon Bloodline deserved a name change into the Samsara-Void True Dragon Bloodline.

However, after ascending to the Mystic Soul Realm, gathering a greater understanding of his physique, bloodline, and spiritual unity and connection, he knew beyond the shadow of a doubt that his True Void Dragon Bloodline was strictly metaphysical, an existence that had never been born before, and its abilities were being newly generated and influenced by his other spiritual qualities.

Whether it was Void Breath, Void Concealment, Void Anchor, Void Crystallization, or his ability to create illusory void clones, they were all linked to other aspects of his powers, namely from the Celestial Eyes of Spiritual Divinity, his other Spirits of Cultivation, including his own desires and experiences. They were subtly shaping his bloodline in accordance with his will, perfecting it. The Eye of Samsara, his newly invented Eye of Dao, was created after, but the foundation of it was largely built on this bloodline ability, and this bloodline ability was influenced by his knowledge gained from Su Yi after he explained every single detail of his Wheel of Samsara's Cultivation Method.

And this ability of his, Void Wheel, was outrageously world-defying!!

Wei Wuyin gently pressed his hand upon Pakhet's Dantian. Slowly, he activated the Void Wheel, feeling his body seethe. Still within his Draconic Ascension form, Wei Wuyin surgically invaded the source origin of Pakhet's Major Authority of Metal Law.

This process bore heavy resemblance to the proper extraction method by which a cultivator could remove another's Seed of Law. He skillfully avoided harming her soul, which was tethered to it. Even a soul was unable to prevent Kratos from entering and exiting at will.

Wei Wuyin had to preemptively silence Kratos's urge to roar, assisted by Magus and Eden. The air in the room thickened as an intensity emerged between Wei Wuyin's brows. With his Celestial Eyes at full force, he observed every strand of detail within.

After three full minutes, Wei Wuyin pulled his hand back. A wave of rare exhaustion flowed through his body, a sign of deep exhaustion of bloodline energies. Considering his bloodline energy could drown a stellar region if given liquid form, this was a staggering result.

The process was simple.

The effect was flawlessly performed.

A loophole was created.

A soul MUST go through the process of samsara after worldly death.

Wei Wuyin had negated worldly death, defying time and causality.

And now, he unleashed a unique brand of samsara onto a soul, and while its primary effect wasn't to avoid the consequences of violating worldly rules, it had done so indirectly. Through the Eye of Samsara, he could sense that her soul's aura was no longer absent from that unique brand of life that had faded naturally upon experiencing death.

It contained a new flavor, but it defied conventional bounds of logic.

Her soulspan, which was largely considered by the greater world of cultivation as unchangeable, was reset to ZERO!

"You're starting anew," Wei Wuyin whispered with a tinge of weakness in his voice. He gently extracted her from Pakhet's body, and placed her at the edge of the bed, covering her nude body with some clothes that belonged to Liu Suyin. They had similar body types, and Liu Suyin's clothing was modest and comfortable.

Magus laughed triumphantly! "It works! Haha! I once studied a spell that would allow someone to sever a portion of their soulspan to bestow a fragment of that on a bloodline descendant. A great taboo that is so unpopular in the eyes of cultivators that it has largely been pushed to the corner of every library!

"But here you are! Using Void Blood Essence to reset the wheel! What type of power is that?!" Magus was still a little shaken, covering its disbelief at the situation with excitement and victorious glee. "But you're a little special, after all. Just for a mortal, you exhausted over 80% of your bloodline energy. This might not be much, but I can say with certainty that your bloodline energy is on par with Resonant Soul Realm-equivalent beasts!

"If you were just ordinarily at the Second Level of the Mystic Myth, while this ability would be great to have, it was almost self-sacrificial and useless. It was based on the Wheel of Samsara, yet you would likely have to burn through your quintessential bloodline source to achieve this, and even then, while your soulspan would be untouched, your body would degrade for a long, long time, potentially forever. And you'll simply die from losing your body."

Magus was far too talkative, but the words that danced in Wei Wuyin's mind were laced with vigilance. The other four Mystic Souls were fully ready to unleash their fullest strength. What Wei Wuyin had committed, changing a Soulspan, was a violation of natural order.

"Calm down," Wei Wuyin breathily said as he lay next to Pakhet. Before he could speak, her body shifted, holding onto him as if he were a source of great warmth and rich comfort. He was too exhausted to move. Moreover, this woman had been in his embrace many times today, performing an act that defied the fundamental rules of the world, and if she needed some warmth in her exhausted state, so be it.

Even if she was already awake.

"If it were anyone else, there would be a punishment of some sort. But Yan Zhu, she's different." Wei Wuyin explained as he relaxed, not caring about any worldly retaliation.

"Indeed," Eden piled on, clarifying, "She's a woman that is out of time, her soul was processed by the Heavenly Daos and Hell in the past. Fortunately, the process of reincarnation takes forever. For her however, being reset to zero must happen. We simply acted as a substitute for the process. There's no violation to speak of."

"Really?" Athena was new to their world-defying ways, and her heart had given out a few times after Wei Wuyin acted out his plan so decisively.

"Yeah," King gently said. The faint saber howl echoing through Wei Wuyin's skin suggested that it was still at the

ready.

Athena couldn't help but ask, "But what if Pakhet had chosen a different woman? So many young women died within those ten seconds."

"She wouldn't have," Wei Wuyin answered confidently.

"Hm? How?" Athena was so confused, but Ori snickered mischievously.

"Why ten seconds?" Eden surprisingly asked. Athena couldn't understand. Eden then asked, "Why Pakhet?"

11 11

"There's no need to tease her," Magus said, deciding to enlighten her on the spot, "Amongst the Sages of the Resolute Dusk Galaxy, Pakhet was the fourth to ascend as a Sage and the fourth Alchemic Knight—act upon the fourth second. Why Pakhet? She's a cultivator. Moreover, before she took up the khopesh as her primary weapon, she trained in spearmanship as a wild game hunter. There were other details too, but just those three intimate details were enough to narrow the time and make any observer confused."

"Fourth second...." Athena was enlightened. Wu Yu, Han Yuhei, and Tian Muyang were Wei Wuyin's Alchemic Knights, and as the fourth, the number had great significance, not just for her, but to her connection with Wei

Wuyin.

"Hmmm..." A soft moan resounded beside Yan Zhu. She was rousing from sleep.

As her eyes fluttered open, gazing upon the room of simplistic grandeur, clearly having the touch of a man, improved upon by a skilled woman, her heart shook.

Instinctively, she touched her chest. No gaping wound existed. Her clothes were also different.

'Where am I?' She softly asked herself, breathing in the extremely rich essence in the room, causing her Yang Growth Phase cultivation base to stir greedily, urging her to cultivate. When she began to look around, her eyes landed upon two figures in her bed.

Her heart nearly jumped out of her chest, but her training kicked in, keeping her outwardly calm to assess for any

threats.

When she saw the two individuals in bed, both with their eyes closed while resting, a gorgeously wild and primal woman hugging a dark-haired young man whose face caused her heart to nearly cease beating out of sheer shock. That stupendously and outrageously handsome face was one she immediately remembered. A face she

could never forget.

"Junior Wei?"

Wei Wuyin calmly opened his eyes, smiling as he acknowledged her, gently rising to meet her gaze. "Are you

hungry?"

Yan Zhu's eyes widened to their fullest extent. She visibly reeled, "Did we have fuck?"
