Chapter 1053: Chapter 1270: Godless Barrier

She violently threw the fake antler back at Julian.

As the Master spoke, she glanced at Julian's waist, where all his Poké Balls were secured.

Hearing her words, Julian immediately tried opening the Poké Balls containing Zekrom, Reshiram and Jirachi.

But none of them could be opened.

He couldn't even sense their presence anymore.

It was as though some mysterious force had completely isolated them, sealing them tightly within the Poké Balls.

'So there's actually such an ability?'

For the first time, genuine shock appeared on Julian's normally calm face.

Forget Jirachi—the Twin Dragons were both late-stage First-class Legendaries.

That meant, aside from a very small handful of top-tier First-class Legendaries, their strength was already extremely powerful.

And yet, they had still been restrained by an unknown force, confined within their own Poké Balls.

"You used a barrier to isolate First-class Legendaries. That's why I can't release the Twin Dragons or Jirachi, and why I can't even sense Deoxys, which is already out, unless I look directly at it."

The response he got was the sound of the Master's applause.

"Julian, you are smart—you figured it out right away."

"Inside this Godless Barrier, even if you had released the Twin Dragons earlier, they still would have been forced back into their Poké Balls."

Godless Barrier—the name was indeed both domineering and fitting.

A space in which no First-class Legendary could exist.

'So such a barrier actually exists?'

Julian activated his Probing Eyes, but unfortunately saw nothing.

The Probing Eyes had a limitation—it required him to physically see the target with his own eyes.

Since the barrier was completely invisible, the Probing Eyes couldn't detect it at all, which naturally meant the ability was useless here.

"Is this also the handiwork of your Demon God?"

Even though he could no longer use First-class Legendaries, Julian showed neither worry nor panic.

The more dangerous the situation became, the less he could allow negative emotions to appear.

Panic and fear would only lead to errors in judgment, which would only hasten one's death.

If the other side could still use a First-class Legendary, then even if the Darkrai above was being held back by Deoxys, it still could have attacked him directly if it wanted to.

If the barrier could still distinguish friend from foe on top of that, then wouldn't it be absurdly overpowered?
