Chapter 1078: Chapter 1295: Golden Eyes

Most of Julian's injuries came from entering the Flow State earlier and linking himself with Metagross. In that state, his physical and mental energy were all transferred to Metagross.

That allowed Metagross' combat power to increase significantly.

However, under that state, whenever Metagross was injured, Julian would suffer the corresponding injuries as well.

For example, if Dragonite's Dragon Claw left a wound across Metagross' back, then an identical wound would appear on Julian's back.

And during the Flow State, Metagross had sustained considerable injuries, and all of those injuries were naturally reflected onto Julian.

However, they were blocked by Metagross' Psychic.

The next second, a burst of rainbow-colored light flared, and with another loud bang, the middle head of Hydreigon was smashed apart by Metagross.

Its body convulsed a few times before dying completely.

The black smoke produced after Hydreigon's death was absorbed by Dragonite. As a result, Dragonite's level rose from 100.6 to 100.8.

Its aura intensified once again, and faint wisps of black energy even began emanating from its body.

Dragonite suddenly swung its claw toward the side, but its target wasn't Metagross—it was the Salamence.

Salamence's heart was pierced straight through by Dragonite's Dragon Claw.

Julian clutched his chest, gasping heavily, large beads of sweat continuously streaming down his cheeks.

He had truly felt like he was about to die just moments ago. Even now, he could still feel the aching pain radiating from deep within.

If the Unown within his body hadn't suddenly exerted their power, he would have been killed by the other party with a single glance.

As a dignified transmigrator, and a cheat-powered existence, nearly getting killed by an unknown entity with just one look—if word of that ever got out, it would be utterly humiliating.

And the owner of those eyes was, in all likelihood, that "Demon God."

"How is this possible... how are you still alive?"

The Master stared at Julian in utter disbelief, as if she had seen a ghost.

"Why didn't the Demon God's gaze kill you?"

Although the golden eyes that had just appeared were only an illusory projection of the Demon God's eyes, even a mere projection was not something a human should be able to withstand.

"You have a great secret within you."

The Master seemed to realize something, her voice tinged with shock.

"And you don't seem all that surprised either. You probably have something inside your body as well, don't you?"

Julian replied calmly, not bothering to deny it. After all, anyone with eyes could now see that there was something extraordinary about his body.

And the same went for the Master across from him.

She was still shrouded in that black protective barrier, and judging by her mental state, she didn't seem like someone who was merely a puppet under control.

"I am one chosen by the great Demon God. Julian, join the embrace of the Demon God, and together we can rule this world!"

At this moment, the Master actually extended an olive branch to Julian.

Julian: "You really are insane."

He was the "embodiment of justice"—how could he possibly join forces with the likes of her? And he hadn't even avenged the injuries she had inflicted on his Pokémon.

His gaze shifted toward the Dragonite that had absorbed twenty-nine wisps of black smoke.

This thing was like a product of a venomous insect ritual—the last one standing would be the strongest.
