Chapter 914: Impossible
Chapter 914: Impossible
The emergence of the Black and White Dragons left the entire venue in silence—every audience member, every competitor, every Champion present, and even everyone worldwide watching the live stream fell into a hushed stillness.
A silence filled with overwhelming shock.
Although they didn't know the names of the two black and white Pokémon beside Julian, the aura radiating from them was in no way inferior to that of the First-class Legendary Yveltal.
'First-class Legendaries!!'
These two unfamiliar Pokémon were also First-class Legendaries!
Julian actually carried two First-class Legendaries on him. This was even more shocking and astounding than when he previously commanded Kyogre to fight Groudon.
If it had been Kyogre that arrived, they wouldn’t have been this shocked—just surprised.
But now, two entirely new First-class Legendaries had appeared. Most importantly, these two First-class Legendaries had emerged from the Poké Balls Julian carried.
This meant that Julian had captured them, earning their recognition—a level of acknowledgment even higher than Kyogre's acceptance of Julian.
Since they were even willing to enter Julian's Poké Balls. These two First-class Legendaries could essentially be considered Julian's possessions—his private assets.
This was simply unimaginable.
What was a First-class Legendary? A single word—"god", was enough to explain everything. Even if humans could command them, only Champions could, and even then, only by sacrificing their lifespan would these beings agree to be commanded.
Yet Julian had actually captured such beings.
And not just one, but two! This made absolutely no sense.
All the Champions, including Jake, were completely dumbfounded.
Jake finally understood why Julian had told him his "showing-off time" was over—because the real show-off was about to begin.
But wasn’t this going a bit too far? Revealing two First-class Legendaries at once?
How were Lyle and Yveltal supposed to react to that?
Yveltal: 'I shouldn't be here; I should be inside my cocoon.'
The world exploded. After the initial silence, everyone erupted.
---
> "Fk fk fk, what did I just see? Am I really seeing this?!"
> "Someone please tell me I'm not seeing things."
> "Black and White First-class Legendaries? Is this for real?"
> "Champion Walker YYDS"
> "This move is absolutely insane!"
> "Julian: Can't use Kyogre? No problem, I'll just casually use the Black and White Dragons instead."
> "Does anyone know what these two Pokémon are called?"
> "The black one is Zekrom, and the white one is Reshiram. I saw murals in an ancient ruin with their names on them."
> "But it's really strange. In over a dozen murals, the Black and White Dragons were always depicted as adversaries. Their relationship should be like that between Kyogre and Groudon. How did Champion Walker gain the recognition of both these First-class Legendaries? It's simply unbelievable."
> "There's no such thing as impossible when it comes to Champion Walker!"
---
At this moment, the entire world was abuzz with discussions about the Black and White Dragons and Julian. As for the crisis caused by Lyle and Yveltal, it had almost been forgotten.
"Impossible! Absolutely impossible!"
The silent atmosphere was shattered by Lyle’s disbelieving roar.
He stared in disbelief at the Black and White Dragons beside Julian. Even as he pinched his thigh hard with his left hand, repeatedly telling himself, "This is an illusion, this is an illusion," the pain in his thigh and the oppressive aura emanating from the Black and White Dragons relentlessly reminded him that all of this was real.
Julian truly carried First-class Legendaries on him—not just one, but two.
"You— Why? How could you?!"
Lyle had completely descended into madness. It was important to note that their Y Organization had poured massive amount of efforts into finding a way to summon Yveltal.
And by sheer coincidence, he had discovered that Saori’s blood could trigger a reaction from Yveltal’s altar.
Only then did he learn that Saori was one in hundreds of millions—a God's Attendant.
So, he began plotting for the World Youth Championship, which was to be held in Babath two years later.
Two years of meticulous planning, and the championship finally began.
And gathered here were more than a dozen Champions, and nine hundred of the world’s most talented young trainers. As long as he killed them all, every nation would inevitably face a significant gap in their trainer ranks.
Then the Y organization’s dream of destroying the world and rebuilding it anew would be one step closer.
He had summoned Yveltal and believed victory was already in his grasp. All that was left was killing everyone here and then wiping out Babath.
But then Julian appeared with the Black and White twin dragons.
Looking at the Black and White Dragons beside his son, Jake felt both intensely envious and utterly shocked. He quietly whispered to Tina beside him, "Wife, our son… he is my son, right?"
"Whether he’s your son or not, I don’t know, but Julian is definitely my son."
Tina's tone was overflowing with pride.
She even thought to herself that maybe she should find a chance to have her son use the White Dragon to pick her up after work. The Black Dragon would be fine too, but she felt the White Dragon was more beautiful—its ethereal, feathery appearance perfectly matched her temperament.
When Jake heard this, he immediately became depressed and grumbled angrily, "Even if he really wasn't my own, I'd still accept him!"
"What did you just say?"
Tina looked at Jake with a dangerous glint in her eyes.
"Nothing! How could I not trust you, dear? This unfilial brat is definitely mine. Only my seed could be this impressive."
"Dee!"
Indeedee: "This is the cub I raised. It's all my credit!"
Julian overheard the conversation his family was having behind him.
"Dad, when the fight starts, make sure to protect Mom, Love, and my team members."
The Black and White Dragons were at the same level as Yveltal, but being at the same level didn't mean they could instantly defeat it. As long as they couldn't secure an immediate victory, the battle would inevitably create shockwaves.
And these would be shockwaves from a clash between three First-class Legendaries. At such close range, even a Champion might not be able to withstand them.
"I know. You go ahead with peace of mind," Jake said with a serious expression.
Julian rolled his eyes at the phrasing but still released Moltres, helping Tina and Love onto its back.
They didn't have Julian's superhuman physique. Otherwise, Julian could have simply had Metagross use Teleport to get them away from here.
As for the others in the venue, there were many spectators from Drakoria among them.
"Everyone, when the time comes, could you help protect the people of Drakoria too? I'll owe you a favor," Julian said to the fifteen Champions.
These Champions also needed to protect their own team members, and there were people from their own countries in the audience, though certainly not as many as from Drakoria.
The fifteen Champions nodded in unison, indicating their willingness to help.
Was that even a question? With the Black and White Dragons by Julian's side, it wasn't a question of whether they could win, but how quickly they could defeat Yveltal.
Having someone who possessed two First-class Legendaries, owe them a favor was an opportunity only available now. If they missed this chance, it would never come again.
