Chapter 965: Concert
Chapter 965: Concert
"Julian, your mistress is going to hold a concert!"
After finishing breakfast, Julian was lounging lazily on the sofa when Jirachi flew over excitedly with a phone in hand, presenting it to him.
Julian was about to ask which "mistress" it was, since according to the two little ones, he supposedly had quite a few, some of whom even he wasn't aware of.
"Hannah, huh?"
Taking the phone, he saw the content on the screen: in one week, national goddess Hannah would hold her first concert at the Orient City Kricketune Concert Hall.
Due to Julian's influence, the Hearth family had given Hannah a full makeover and invested top resources into her career. Combined with her exceptional voice and appearance, she had risen to become a national sensation in less than a year.
For this concert, three guest performers were invited. Two of them were superstar-level celebrities, while the third was the Fairy-type Elite, Catherine.
The fact that even Catherine was invited showed how much effort the Hearth family had put into this. With these three heavyweight guests, tickets for Hannah's concert had already become incredibly scarce.
"Julian, I want to go to the concert!"
Jirachi tugged on Julian's clothes, looking at him with eager anticipation. It had never been to a concert before and was curious about what it would be like.
"Well, we don't have much going on lately. Let's go check it out."
Under Jirachi’s delighted gaze, Julian agreed.
However, tickets were surely sold out by now. Just as he was about to call Ember, who undoubtedly had tickets, his phone rang.
Seeing that the caller ID showed Hannah’s name, Julian paused for a moment, seemingly realizing something, and answered with a smile.
"Hey, big star."
On the other end of the line, Hannah’s hand holding the phone was slightly sweaty, and she looked a little nervous. Hearing the familiar voice on the phone, and the teasing tone in Julian’s words immediately eased her tension.
"Julian, I’m going to hold a concert. Can you come and cheer me on?"
The hopeful tone in her voice was palpable even through the phone.
"If a national goddess personally invites me, turning her down would probably get me roasted by your fans."
"Then it's settled!"
Hannah’s joyful voice came through the phone.
"Yeah, it's settled."
After that, both of them hung up.
Julian waved his phone at Jirachi. "The star herself invited us—saves us the trouble of buying tickets."
Meanwhile, over in Hannah's studio, her agent, Marissa, looked at her nervously and asked, "So? Did Champion Walker agree?"
Having heard Hannah's side of the conversation and seen her expression after hanging up, she could already guess the answer.
"Mm, Julian agreed," Hannah nodded with a smile.
Seeing that genuine smile, Marissa sighed. "In all these months, today's smile is the most beautiful I've ever seen from you."
"Was my smile not nice before?"
Marissa nodded, then shook her head. "It was nice before, but not like this time."
"If there's nothing else, Sister Mari, I'll go rehearse now."
"Go ahead. I'll handle anything else that comes up. The most important thing right now is the concert in a week. With Elite Catherine performing and Champion Walker attending, nothing can go wrong."
Hannah nodded and left the studio.
Now alone in the room, Marissa muttered quietly to herself, "I can't believe the young lady really managed to invite Champion Walker. Could they really be in 'that' kind of relationship?"
Hannah had been parachuted into Blaze Entertainment and, despite being a newcomer, received significant resource allocation. On top of that, she was someone the eldest daughter of the Hearth family, Ember, had explicitly ordered to be taken care of.
As a top-tier agent, Marissa had long stopped taking on newcomers. Yet, for Hannah, she had set aside her established artists to manage this rookie.
Initially, she hadn't been entirely willing. But with Blaze Entertainment's unwavering support and Hannah's undeniable talent for the industry, her attitude changed. After professional songwriters tailored several songs for her—including one written by Catherine herself—Hannah blew up across the internet in less than six months.
Marissa had always wondered who Hannah really was and why the Hearth family favored her so much. Now she knew: it turned out she was connected to Champion Walker.
With such a powerful figure backing her, it was no wonder Hannah was rising so fast. Barring any mishaps, she had the potential to become an international superstar.
The thought of becoming the agent of an international superstar set Marissa's heart ablaze with excitement.
"No, I need to go keep an eye on the venue. Nothing can go wrong," she said, hurrying out.
This time, ticket sales alone reached 150,000, and many important figures from the entertainment industry would also be attending, though none could compare to Julian.
The venue had long been under preparation and was now in the final stages of setup.

"Love, I'm going to Orient City tomorrow and will be back in about a week. Help me pack my luggage," Julian said.
Although the concert was still a week away, it was being held in Orient City, where Julian's grandmother lived.
So, Julian planned to stay at his grandmother's house until the concert started. He couldn't possibly go to Orient City for the concert without visiting his grandmother.
"Dee?"
Love: "Why are you going to Orient City?"
"To visit Grandma," Julian replied.
"Good child."
Love nodded, checked the recent weather forecast for Orient City, and went upstairs to pack Julian's luggage.
Orient City wasn't too far from Lake City. Both cities were located in the southern region, with a straight-line distance of less than 500 kilometers.
"Where's Celebi? Where did that little thing run off to?"
Julian noticed that only Jirachi was at home, with no sign of Celebi. Usually, the two little ones were always together, and it was rare to see one without the other.
"Did it go off to secretly eat by itself again?"
Considering the possibility, Julian narrowed his eyes. After all, this guy had a history of such behavior—and not just once.
Jirachi shook its head and said, "It's angry. It's staying in the room."
"Angry? Why is it angry?" Julian was genuinely puzzled.
"Of course because I made it angry."
As it said this, Jirachi actually wore an expression that seemed to say, "Aren't I amazing? Praise me quickly."
"What did you do?" Julian asked curiously.
"I ate the fried chicken legs it wanted to hide inside Gengar's belly."
"Gengar!"
Julian called out Gengar.
"Gen~"
"What else did Celebi hide in your belly?"
Gengar reached into its belly and pulled out two boxes of fries, three cans of cola, some coupons, and three hundred bucks.
"Celebi actually hid this much? Even money? It still owes me a hundred bucks and hasn't paid me back yet!"
Jirachi said indignantly.
"Isn’t this returning it to you now? And here’s another hundred as interest."
Julian gave two hundred bucks to Jirachi, kept one hundred for himself, and gave all the food to Jirachi too.
He left the coupons for Celebi—otherwise, it would cry.
Celebi: 'Had already cried itself unconscious in the bathroom…'
